"I don't ever want to lose you, Sam..."

Hospital trips were normal at this point. The flashing colors of red and blue lights were now engraved into Sam's memory--but he always thought that it'd be for him. Never would Sam ever have thought he'd live to see the day when his whole world finally crashed down. Endless hours of sobbing, crying, and denial were all Sam knew. A day full of pain.

At least with Colby in his life, he had a reason to live.

But the day when he was ripped away, Sam lost it all. Sam lost everything, everything he ever wanted, everything he had to keep him going. 

Without Colby, he's lost.

Colby was the only reason Sam was still alive.

And it hurt even more to see Sam's reason to live vanish in front of his eyes,
