Chapter name: encounter Warning: this is a little bit sad.

Haeun was on edge maybe even more than last week. God, she felt like absolutely crap, Haeun hadn't been to work in for the past three days. Haeun knew she couldn't show up to work around a bunch of spies and expect them to not to drop the mic on her. She called out sick the moment Mr. Jeon told her the plan to kill Chaoze.

The plan was simple but hard, Haeun had to become friends with Chaoze, sit with him at his table and slip poison in his drink when no one was looking. Let me remind you she was supposed to do that in one day, Haeun was thinking about fleeing the country the thinking that it was her best bet at least.

She had no time, and all the money. But she just didn't want to leave without y/n she just couldn't. Haeun felt sick to her stomach as she pulled out the pack of gum with shaking hands, there was one piece in that packet with poison in it. She had only put one piece of poisonous gum just in case she had to give others a piece.

Haeun just couldn't describe how much she hated herself. She was going to kill someone and giggle about it the next day, and pretend like nothing happened. She knew that she would have to go to school the next day because Haeun couldn't look so suspicious.

"Haeun it's time to go to school your gonna be late!" Haeun got slightly startled when she heard her mother's voice. In almost an instant Haeun rushed out of her room to get breakfast, the one her mother always makes for her. "Hello mother, did you sleep well?" Haeun bent over and kissed her mother who was comfortably sitting in her wheelchair.

The 40 year old woman had gotten sick almost half a year ago, and this is what her sickness has escalated to. It was so hard to pay bills that Haeun had to get a job in order to keep the house, although it wasn't easy Haeun did land an extremely high paying job just with her everyday skill use.

"I slept well honey, anyway your school called and said you ditched second period they even seen you walking off school property" Haeun looked at her mother with sad eyes, the only reason why she had ditched second period was because jungkook dropped the poison off at her house and Haeun couldn't risk her mother being around those chemicals.

"I'm s-sorry mom, it's just that I've been a little stressed that's all" technically Haeun was telling the truth, she was stressed about everything and the fact that Haeun was going to risk it all just to be close to y/n didn't make it any better. "Oh I'm sorry sweet pea, I'll let you slide this time but if this keeps happening you're gonna be in big trouble okay?"

Haeun nodded at her mother's words, Haeun placed a final peck on her cheek which left a faint mark of red lipgloss lining. Haeun's mother smiled softly and went back to cooking breakfast whilst Haeun watching.

Chaoze was excited, because today he had finally mustered up the courage to confess his love to y/n. Last week at the library made Chaoze think, and he really just wanted to be by y/n's side. "Hyung I'm leaving out early today don't wait up for me!" Chaoze grabbed his backpack and walked out the door with an apple in his hand.

The young boy was just so happy because he was pretty sure that y/n liked him too or at least he hoped she did. He wasn't to sure about how y/n felt about him even though y/n was like an open book when it came to feelings.

But he wanted to know for sure, if the girl he had fallen for actually liked him back at least a little bit. Before Chaoze knew it he was already at school, which didn't excite him because who liked school? Even though he was popular and was on the soccer team all he wanted was y/n.

"Hey zoom! Whatcha up to?" The younger was slightly startled by his older friend, Minho. The two boys became friends in freshman of high school, Minho was a big guy standing 6'5 and 250 pounds. But he was still the most sweetest person you'll ever meet, "Hey min I was thinking about what you said yesterday and I'm finally gonna tell y/n I like her.."

Minho perked up in curiosity, yesterday the younger didn't want anything to do with confessing his feelings and now he's ready to risk it all? "Are you sure? You just said that you wouldn't yesterday" Chaoze shook his head. Today for him felt like an awesome day, he just couldn't comprehend why he wanted to confess now but he just did.

"Yes hyung I'm positive, now I gotta get to class catch you later?" Chaoze stopped briefly as his friend agreed when the walked separate paths. Walking fast Chaoze made it to his classroom before the bell rang, he went to go sit in his usual spot near the corner but there was another person.

It looked like a girl from afar but Chaoze wasn't really good with his eye sight so he couldn't tell. Once he got all the way to his seat he realized that it was a girl, a pretty one in fact she had black, silky hair. Her skin milky whit like he had seen with many other girls in his classes. 

"Oh hello, I'm new to your class is this your seat?" The mysterious girl was now talking to him and he just realized he was staring. "No t-this isn't my seat" Chaoze proceeded to seat next to her out of embarrassment. That was in fact his seat but he didn't want to come off as rude especially since the girl is just new to the class.

"Hey do y-you want some gum?" The pretty girl now held out a stick of peppermint smelly gum. Of course Chaoze took it, because who would deny a piece of gum? The young boy unwrapped the paper and popped the flavored stick in his mouth. The burst of artificial peppermint hit his taste buds as he did a tasteful chew.

"Hey, Haeun can I get some gum to?" A high pitched voice added in, it was a girl who went by the names he believed was mingu. She had always asked for things and strangely knew everyone's names. "Sure thing, but um how do you know my name?" Haeun face Mingu a piece of gum with a strange look of her face.

Mingu only smiled and thanked Haeun for the piece of gum, but before Haeun even got the chance to respond class was already starting.

Everything was spinning, it was like the world was crashing all around him. Sweat all over his face, body and clothes. Chaoze felt sick it was like wanting to cough and throw up at the same time. He didn't know what was happening to him, at school he was perfectly fine and Chaoze was just about to get ready to see y/n.

Y/n didn't make it to school today because she had a cold which was totally fine so Chaoze decided to be cute and cheesy so he bought flowers and chocolates. He then headed home to get into more 'date me' attire, then this happened. Chaoze didn't know what was happening he couldn't scream nor move he was just there.

He didn't know why but he smiled, imagining how beautiful y/n would look with chocolates in her hand and watching her favorite show whilst having a stuffy voice. Chaoze felt his breathing heave and going down slowly, everything was fading and he realized that he was dying.

This was unfair, he just couldn't die this way. On his bathroom floor with chocolates and flowers with y/n name on them. He needed to get to y/n and find help, he needed to warn her about everything and the bad people in this world. Chaoze needed to tell her that he loved her just once.

But Chaoze knew it was to late, he was dying on his bathroom floor and couldn't even get up. He couldn't even get to visit his older brother or get married, hell he didn't even lose his virginity yet. But he would risk anything just to say his last words to y/n even if meant wasting his last breath of air he had left. "Y/n I-I love you..."
