You tended to a patch of lilies, carefully watering them with your wooden watering can. Once satisfied, you placed the can in your basket and strolled through the flower field, admiring its beauty.
The golden glow of the sun spread across the field, casting a breathtaking horizon in the distance.
As your gaze drifted toward the nearby forest, you noticed a familiar bright green figure making his way toward you.
"(Y/n)!"
You smiled at the voiceβLee.
"Good morning, Lee," you greeted him softly, continuing to water your flowers.
"Good morning!" he beamed, his enthusiasm as boundless as ever.
"I want to train with you!" Lee announced with an eager grin. "I know you've been practicing with the book I gave you, and now I want to put my skills to the test!"
You chuckled. "You want to spar with me?"
Lee nodded eagerly. "Yes! Yes!"
Setting your basket down, you gave him a knowing look. "Alright, but we have to be careful. I don't want any of my flowers getting destroyed."
Lee nodded once more, his expression serious. "I promise to be extra careful!" he declared.
Smiling, you took your stance as Lee lunged forward, throwing punches and kicks with impressive speed. You dodged swiftly, moving with precision before reaching into your nearby basket and pulling out your bow and arrow.
With a steady aim, you shot toward himβjust grazing his arm. Your heart skipped a beat, and you quickly lowered your bow, about to check on him.
But Lee, ever full of energy, sprang back up like nothing had happened.
You sighed in relief.
The spar continued, and you decided to test out one of your jutsu. Weaving the hand signsβRam, Hare, Flowerβyou channeled your chakra into the flowers around you.
Petals lifted from the ground, forming a protective sphere around you.
Lee watched in awe before launching himself at your shield, delivering a powerful kick. But instead of breaking through, he bounced right off. The sphere shimmered before finally dissipating, the jutsu lasting only as long as your chakra could sustain it.
Lee thought to himself, She's so cool!
Determined to try one more technique, you formed another set of hand signsβClone, Rat, Flower.
The loose petals around you swirled and took shape, forming an illusionary copy of yourself.
The battle resumed, with Lee struggling to differentiate between the real you and the clone. His eyes darted between the two figures before he made a split-second decisionβhe went for it.
With a well-placed punch, he struck the version of you that had been closing in for an attack, sending you flying toward the barrier.
He fully expected you to bounce off.
But instead, you slipped right through.
Lee's eyes widened in shock. Yours did too.
Neither of you spoke, just standing there, staring at each other like something unbelievable had just happened.
Because it had.
You didn't want to tell anyone, at least not now.
And yet, here you wereβon the other side.
