"GRYFFINDOR," the sorting hat yelled then whispered  in my head, "Slytherin would suit you best but letting you be more near your friends will be better."

     Professor McGonagall pulled the hat off my head and smiled at me. I smiled back and went to the Gryffindor table as they cheered for me.

     Professor McGonagall yelled Tonk's name, "Tonks, Nymphadora!"

     Tonks's hair turned red and she marched up to Professor McGonagall, "Do not call me Nymphadora, Tonk, Tonks, Tonks, does everyone get it!"

     "Yes Ms. Tonks now you are holding up our time, get on the stool," Professor McGonagall said sternly.

     "Fine," Tonks said her hair still red.

     "HUFFLEPUFF," the sorting hat yelled and Tonk rushed to the Hufflepuff table smiling at me and almost tripping on the side of the table. 

     A few more students later Professor McGonagall yelled, "Weasley, Charles!"

     In a few seconds, the sorting hat yelled, "GRYFFINDOR!"

     "That's my brother," Bill yelled pulling Charlie into a hug. 

     Charlie blushed and pulled away from Bill and coming to sit next to me, "We're in the same house!"

     "I know," I said excitedly. 

     I mistakenly glanced at the Slytherin table and saw Felix sneering at me. What's his deal with me. I glared back at him giving him the middle finger. 

     "What's made you so mad," Charlie asked.

     "Nothing," I said smiling turning back to the table that had a bunch of food, some of which I didn't know the name to.

     When we finished eating, Dumbledore commanded the Prefects to lead us to our common room. I don't like Dumbledore, he is annoying and stupid, he made Harry stay with that freak family of his, and Harry can't leave, that's just very dumb.

     "Wow, Delilah, you have to see this," Charlie said nudging me out of my daydream.

     The one thing I noticed was the huge fireplace, good, I get very cold easily. 

     "The girl's dormitories are this way and the boys that way," Angelica Cole, our prefect said. 

     I went into my dormitory, there were two, 4-poster-beds. I guess I would be sharing with one other girl.

     "I want that bed, also I'm Corey Hayden, now leave me alone," a brown-haired girl and green eyes said. 

     "Uh, okay, I'm Delilah Solace," I introduced a little annoyed with her.

     "I know, your name is on the door," she said without looking at me.

     I was officially annoyed with her, "Okay if my name is on the door then so is yours's so why do you feel the need to introduce yourself and be snobby!"

     "You are being too loud, now shut up," Corey said.

     "Why don't you shut up," I said.

     "I can't believe I have to share this room with you for 7 years," she said groaning and throwing something at me, it was a hairbrush, I dodged it.

     I was about to throw the lamp on the bedside table at her when Angelica came to check on us.

     "Is everything fine here," Angelica asked, "I heard some noise."

     "Everything is perfectly fine, right Corey," I said with a fake smile.

     "Yes, Delilah and I were just getting to know each other," Corey said glaring at me.

     "Alright, I'll go check on the other girls," Angelica said leaving shutting the door behind her.

     I didn't wait a second before I threw the lamp at her, she ducked and took some books out of her truck and throwing them at me, she missed. I looked for something to throw at her, her books were near me so I grabbed them and threw them right back at her, one of them hit her stomach.

     "I stay in my space and you stay in your, we don't talk to each other, got it," I said.

     "Agreed," she said clutching her stomach, she started it.

     I found my bickering buddy people, how fun.

     "Wake up," Corey yelled hitting me with her hairbrush, what is it with this girl and a hairbrush, it's very annoying. 

     "Shut your mouth," I said throwing a pillow at her.

     "Get up, we have to go eat breakfast," she yelled, I didn't expect her to be the early bird type with her attitude. 

     "Why are you so annoying," I groaned.

     "Why are you so annoying," she said pointing at me.

     Corey fought over who should use the bathroom first. If she was awake before me, shouldn't she have used it before waking me up? Anyway, we made it to the Great Hall and sat on far ends from each other.

     "Wotcher Delilah," Tonks yelled from the Hufflepuff table, I got up from the Gryffindor table and headed to her. 

     "Hey Tonks," I said giving her a small hug.

     "Meet Aubrey Abbott, she is my roommate," Tonks said introducing me to her friend.

     "At least you have a good roommate," I mumbled.

     "What's wrong with your roommate," Aubrey asked.

     "You see her, Corey Hayden, she is so annoying, and ugh she gets on my nerves," I complained pointing at Corey.

     "What did she do," Tonks asked.

     "Um...well she came into the room with attitude and then started being rude and throw stuff at me so as a sane person I am, I threw stuff back, and we ended up making a deal not to talk to each other," I explained. 

     "Do you really think, being just as rude would end your problem," Aubrey asked.

     "No, but she and I won't be friends anytime soon so why not keep it up," I said. 

     "I mean, can I join you," Tonks asked.

     I laughed, "Okay, I gotta go, I promised Charlie, I would be back in 5 minutes!"

     "Are you excited for classes," Charlie asked when I go back to the table. 

     "Yeah," I said smiling. 

     "I can't wait for our 2nd year when we can do Quidditch, I love it, and in our 3rd year where we can do Care For Magical Creatures," Charlie said excitedly.

     "Whoa there, Charlie slow down, it's only your first day of being in the 1st year," Bill said hopping in the seat next to Charlie.

     "But I can't wait," Charlie said happily.

     "You'll get there," Bill said ruffling Charlie's hair and getting up to get with his friends.

     Suddenly a thousand owls flew through the window dropping letters and packages. I got freaked out for a second. My owl Remo landed in front of me with a package and a few letters.

     "Yes," I yelled when I opened the package, it was my grandmother's delicious truffles.

     "Can I have one," Charlie said looking at them.

      "Well I won't be able to finish them myself," I said as Charlie didn't waste a second to start eating them. 

     I opened an envelope and found a drawing that Alsephina made. She is so cute, it also had a letter from my mom.

Honey, I hope you are having a nice time at Hogwarts. Your grandmother and I really miss your idiot self, it's so quiet in the house now. I kinda like the peace. Grandma made you your favorite truffles. Write me back about Hogwarts, I expect 3 letters from you every week! Love you, hun.

     I reminded myself to write back to her which I would probably forget until someone reminds me. 

     "These are so good," Charlie said.

     "Charlie you ate half of the box," I yelled surprised. 

     "Oh I did," Charlie said shrugging.

     I got my covid-19 vaccine yesterday and now I feel like my arm is hanging and whenever I move it, I feel like I have been punched by a professional boxer. Also, the fact I have very boney arms makes it worse.

     The next chapter is going to be a time-lapse of Delilah's years at Hogwarts ending it in her 5th year. Bill will be in his 7th year, Charlie and Delilah in 5th year, Percy will be at Hogwarts now and in 2nd year. When Charlie and Delilah go in their 6th year, Castor and Pollux enter their 1st year with Fred and George. Very complicated but I am trying to make it easier to understand.
