"Welcome back to Transfiguration. I've created a seating chart for the rest of the year," Professor McGonagall said waving her wand and a seating chart appeared on the board.

     "Would you look at that, both of us are sitting next to each other," Charlie said excitedly pulling me to our seats?

     "I'm so glad," I said smiling, and looked back to where Nathan sat.

     He gave me a smile and a wave.

     I quickly turned around and started a conversation with Charlie, "Okay so I found this book about dragons in the library and I got it for you since I know you love dragons."

     "Aww you think about me all the time," Charlie said putting a hand on his heart.

     I rolled my eyes and pulled out the book, "Here, it reminded me of you."

     "Wizards, Witches, and Dragons: Fantasy Novel of a Daily Life of a Dragon Pet," Charlie read aloud, "You know, sometimes you're so sweet that I don't know why you aren't in Hufflepuff."

     I looked at him offended, "Do not compare me to those shit-eating devils, besides Tonks and Aubrey, of course!"

     Charlie just chuckled as Minerva started the lesson. 

     "Today we will be reviewing the importance of knowing the shape of an object so you can change its form...," Minerva continued talking as I droned out.

     Minerva being my favorite professor and all so you would think that I love Transfiguration, I mean I do love it but the lectures are SO boring that sleep seems like a better option.

     "Lilah," Charlie slightly nudged me right as my eyes were about to close.

     "What," I whispered quietly. 

     "We have to write an essay about the art of changing form and the appearance of something," Charlie whispered back.

     I groaned, "Why another essay?"

     "You'll be fine," Charlie said gently rubbing my back as I put my face in my hands and pulled my hair back.

     "Are those complains I hear Ms. Solace," Minerva asked walking over to Charlie and I's table.

     "No," I said sighing.

     "Well then great, you better get started, it's due at the end of the period," Minerva said giving me a tight-lipped smile. 

     Minerva might have favored me in every other way but when it was during her class, I had to deal with her wrath as equally as all the other students would have to. As much as I hated that, it made so much sense, I would probably hate it if Minerva gave all her attention to someone else.

     "Charlie let me see what you wrote," I whispered snatching his parchment. 

     'I'm hungry' I read and facepalmed. 

     "Seriously," I whispered handing it back.

     "I was brainstorming but I can't brainstorm without food," Charlie said as if it was the more simple thing in the world.

     I reached into my back and pulled out a licorice wand and secretly handed it to Charlie, "Don't let Minerva take that away from you."

      "Did I tell you that you are my favorite person in the world," Charlie whispered bumping his shoulder while mine?

     "No Charlie I don't have any more snacks for you," I whispered rolling my eyes clearly knowing what he was doing. 

     "Hush you two," Minerva whispered with a glare.

     "Sorry," Charlie said with a smile.

     After that Charlie and I quietly worked on our essays. Occasionally I would step on Charlie's toe to annoy him while he would bump his shoulders with mine. 

     Once the bell rang we all gathered our stuff and turned in our essays. Charlie and I departed ways with a hug as I started walking to the courtyard. It was my free period and I was going to meet up with Penny Haywood. We were friends and she wanted to teach me how to do some of the most complicated braids, Penny was the goddess of doing hair. 

     "Hey," Nathan said swinging his arm over my shoulder.

     I had butterflies in my stomach as I said, "Hey! Where are you going?"

     "It's my free period so I was hoping to hang out with you for a bit," Nathan said with a smile. 

     "I'm sorry, I'm actually going to spend it with Penny," I said taking his arm off me as we both reached the courtyard.

     "It seems like I have more competition for your attention than I thought," Nathan said with a pout.

     "Attention? I hardly think you need any attention from her, you can go find another person to harass," Felix said butting in. 

     "I wasn't-," Nathan started.

     Felix gave him a death glare that said 'Get out of my face right now before I beat you up.'

     Nathan gulped and walked away giving a retreating wave. 

     I crossed my arms and glared at Felix, "Seriously? What the actual fuck was that?!"

     "Nothing," Felix said shrugging. 

     "As if," I said rolling my eyes.

     I started walking over to where I saw Penny sitting as Felix put his arm around my shoulder and started walking with me, "What are you doing?"

     "Just walking with you," Felix said acting like he does this all the time.

     "Well you can leave now," I said as I sat next to Penny, "Hey!"

     "Hey, what's he doing here," Penny asked pointing at Felix who still hadn't left. 

     "Honestly, I have no idea," I said.

     Felix sat down next to me, "You guys have room for one more person?"

     "Definitely not!"

     "Um yeah sure I guess."

     "Penny," I said in a scolding voice. 

     "Sorry, I don't know how to say no nicely," Penny said apologetically. 

     "Great," Felix said clapping his hand. 

     I raised an eyebrow at Felix, "So you would rather sit here and learn how to do complicated braids rather than go spend the time with your friends?"

     Felix looked like he just regretted every single decision he has made, "Totally."

     "Perfect then," Penny said pulling out 5 head mannequins with wigs on them.

     "So the first braid I'm going to show is a simple one really, a fish tale," Penny said.

     "Oh I know how to do that one," I said, it was really easy.

     By the time we were all done, Felix had managed to do a simple typical braid which looked more like a twist with some weird pulls. He also messed up another wig pretty badly and knotted it all up.

     "Felix, you're just not good with hair," I said patting him on the head.

     Felix scowled, "I'll become better, and then when I become a master, I'm gonna braid your hair."

     "Oh hell no, I do not trust you anywhere near my hair," I said holding up my hands as if they were boundaries. 

     Penny laughed at what I said.

     "Can I keep one of these," Felix asked Penny?

     "Yeah I'll give you a new one tomorrow, these ones are kind of old," Penny said as she collected everything from us.

     "Won't your dormmates think you're weird carrying around a wig," I asked? 

     "I'm the boss, I'll just threaten them," he said casually. 

     "Don't do that," I said rolling my eyes.

     "There's the bell, we better get going," Penny said as the bell rang and students crowded the halls. 

     Penny and I hugged as she went away.

     "Your annoying," I said to Felix immedietly after Penny was out of sight. 

     "It's my duty to annoy you," Felix said calmly giving me a punch on the shoulder.

     "Ow asshole," I said clutching my shoulder. 

     "I forgot that girls were sensitive," he said with a smirk.

     "I'm going to murder you," I said as I started hitting him on the head with a hairbrush from my bag.

     Wait, hairbrush? Oh, my fucking gods, this was Corey's hairbrush, I am in the possession of the most dangerous weapon in the world. What an honor!

     "Ow! Will you quit it," Felix said clutching his head?

     "Sorry," I said with a shrug and a smirk.

     "Alright well I'll be going to my next class, see ya," Felix said as he walked off.

     "Wait-why did you become so friendly today," I asked.

     Felix stopped and turned around, "I really don't know, but you seem familiar to me, almost as if we have some sort of bond."

     With that, he walked off.

     Interesting.

     So many things have been changing today...

     Later that day when I walked back to my dorm I did the hardest thing imaginable, "Corey! Here is your stupid hairbrush, I found it in my bag!"

     "I was searching for that all day," Corey screeched. 

     "Here," I said throwing it at her.

     "You could've killed me," Corey yelled catching the hairbrush, "Give it back to me properly this time."

     As Corey said that, she threw the hairbrush back at me.

     "And you think that the hairbrush isn't going to kill me," I yelled as I dodge the deathly weapon?

     "People as annoying as you don't die as quickly as you hope they would," Corey said rolling her eyes. 

     "Ditto."

     ...but one that that hasn't changed is how annoying Corey is.

     Okay hi, I'm back! I've been gone for a long time but ill be updating more frequently now. 

      So we were able to see some sibling time between Delilah and Felix which I was so excited to add in and more of Charlie and Lilah's friendship. Nathan can go fuck off lmfao. 

     Check out Asterope Potter if you haven't already because it is the book that technically goes before this for all of this to make sense.
