Tejasswi's pov

i was standing with the cousin lot and i could see how close these were with each other and honestly i was not feeling like an outsider or unwanted for the very first time in my life 

rohit turn to me"  and said ' so since when are you karan's PA " 

"Two years " 

" That's impressive " he exclaimed making his bhabhi curious " why are you so surprised " 

" coz bhai is famous for firing people and PA is like direct under him so its actually impressive tejasswi " arpita said to which she nodded "ohh" 

" how did you survive bhabhi " Rohan asked which made other turn towards me Equally intrested in knowing that 

" Well maybe jar need of money ?" i said thinking and they all made unsatisfied voices and "Really " , " thats not fair" 

" Was it your first job?" Arpita asked "No I had many jobs before too many in past five years before this job " 

"Since when are you working ?" his bhabhi asked " second year of university " i said 

" Why did you leave so many job but stayed at my brother's " Arnav sir well firstly he is elder second he is kinda my boss too so sir should be there  i m actually surprised he is listening 

" Bhai you can't just assume she leave all those jobs " Aradhya said to which he just smiled at her and look at me " m i wrong " to which i shake my head

   " Tell us na " rohit said and i sigh " well living with your mother's surname  is not easy your brother sure fire people and is very hard to work with but he isn't judgey he wont dovel in your personal life and he sure as hell don't gaslight other's to make your life hard you just have to forget that its okay to make mistakes and you should just follow his rules its not bad if you are good at your work " i said and they all smile teasingly but before they could start teasing me his dadi  come and asked them to call him bcoz its muhurat time and he isn't here yet 

rohit tried his number arnav sir dailed his driver's to which he said he is not on duty today and the atmosphere suddenly get tensed all started worrying for him 

i heard the rude lady AKA his chachi mutered loud enough for people arround her to hear  " abhi tou shadi huyi ni abhi se ashubh " to which his dadi glared at her 

I stare at the murti inside the temple  yaa i do believe god is there but i just feel like he never really listen to me but still i close my eyes and said in my mind " yaa i know you never really listens to me but please consider it this time not for me but this amazing family and please keep him safe "

" do you any other number on which we could call him " aradhya asked me " show me which number are you dailing ? " 

rohit immeadiatly  showed me " i have his other number " i said and took out my phone to call him 

It kept ringing and all made a dissapointed face but at the end moment the call was picked 

hello ms awasthi have you reached ?" he asked and it was clear he was driving and in a rush " karan where are you " before i could reply his bade papa asked

karan's pov

The meeting was finished on time and i wore a black kurta with black pants and yaa i know its unauspicious and whatever its not like i care getting my keys i move to my car and start the journey halfway through i realised i m being followed Shit! out of all days its today when i m not carrying my gun yaa i own a gun

 well no! i m not in some mafia shit its sole purpose is my safety when you are at the top of the ladder people try to pull you down so ya security matters luckily mumbai is too big of a place so i never really were in any danger unlike udaipur but the news of all of us at one place might have reached them that's why they are trying to mess things up but no i won't let it happen 

i change my direction trying to trick them and make them loose my trail but its frustrating to no end i realised i had too much time but they are still behind my phone ring and it was ms awasthi " okay maybe i m too late " i thought and pick up the call hearing bade papa "s voice instead of her"s i was kinda surprised but i replied how someone is trailing me and what i was doing " karan we have too many of bodyguards here the property is whole covered just come we will tackle it " bhai said and i was like okay bhai and increse the speed to reach soon but this made them suspicious and from the mirror i saw the guy taking his gun out "SHIT" I exclamied out loud and hearing bhai's voice i realise they are still on line " Bhai they have a gun i m nd pnot carrying mine " i hear a small gasp and aradhya muttering for safety reasons 

" karan be careful i m sending a car your way share your location with tejasswi " bhai said " No need bhai i can handle it " i said concentrating on the steering " Karan do it " i heard bade papa's stern voice and then i heard ms awasthi " he is driving i can find it on my own " well this is unlike her and how will she i heard aradhya say " use my phone don't cut the line " " no i have mt ipad in my purse the one given to me by the company so using that account i can get his location " ms awasthi said ohh i had forgotten she is good with computer's and using our server she could do that " you can do that? bhabhi that's cool " rohan said and i realised it wasn't just a facsination they geniunely likes her 

I was making the car move zig zag avoiding the bullet i had muted my side so that they don't panic and i could see a car coming my way and the behind car slowed seeing it the car took a uturn and was in between me and that car and i unmute the call " The car is here i will be there in ten minutes we are close " i said cutting the call and drive in full speed because it was an empty road and finally i could see the outlet of the temple

Tejasswi's pov

i finally sigh in relief he is safe and will be here soon i saw his badi maa doing the same even arnav sir's rugged profile is calm now he is lucky to have so many people care for him
