Tejasswi's Pov 

i woke up as usual i took a bath change in my regular clothes and make breakfast for mumma n me 

After having Breakfast mumma look at me in surprise " bache are you coming back to take me to hotel i told you i will come in a cab " I have break of 45 minutes for lunch usually so mumma said she will come on her own as hotel is near the office it will save time 

" no mumma i can't come even if i wanted to lack of time "

" So you will meet them wearing this " she look down on my clothes like they are dirty 

" What's wrong with my clothes " 

" Nothing is wrong with your clothes but they are not appropriate for the rishta meeting Bacha " 

she took me to my room and select an anarkali for me

i change in it as there is no rule you can't wear ethnic in office she asks me to put bindi and open my hair before them 

i put the bindi in my purse andgive her assurance i will do it and then move out before she asks me to wear anything else 

Thankfully my changed attire didn't get much notice and i move to my cabin and start the work 

Karan's pov 

Sleep didn't come as usual but i move out of the bed by 7 moving to my inhouse gym i take care of my body so after an hour of gym

I took a bath and get ready

After that i come out to see dadi sitting on table and rohit beside her and she give me a look

" Hum janty hein appko appny tareeko ki adat hogayi hy pr jb hum yahan hein tb tou app hamare tareeko pr chl sakty hein "

Oh shit i forget dadi likes to have breakfast by 8 30 and she likes everyone on the table

There is no rule of house ladies standing and serving we all sit and have our meals together

" Dadi i really forget about it i took more time in gym today"

" koi bat nhii abb bhaitiye khana shuru krty hein"

I nodded and sit on the dining table

" Rohit there flight will land by 12 you should go to pick them up "

" Karan Aradhya is with them"

" Aradhya has problems in crowd So you should pick them up " i said in no argument tone

" okay okay boss i will "

" Karan app time se aajayeiga lunch ky liye"

" Dadi is it necessary for me to come i have a meeting by 3 pm "

" The lunch is by 1 30 and I don't think you will talk for more than 20 minutes so you can go back for the meeting" Rohit said making me glare at him

" Rohit sahi keh rahy hein appki meeting mein koi rukawat nhii aayegi "

I nodded and move out of the house after doing my breakfast

In office i got rohit's call that he had picked my " precious cousins "  he is dramatic

And shruti called me first she thanked than she shared her excitement for meeting ms awasthi

Should i call her in and tell her stuff to do

But I can't plan everything i know dadi already likes her if she hasn't she wouldn't be meeting her

But what about her mother what if she creates problems i hope she doesn't have issue with the arrangement

Tejasswi's pov

It took me 15 minutes to reach the hotel i move to the restroom firstly

I put the clutcher in my bag i comb my hair then i wore a small bindi

Touching up lipstick a lil i move out

I move to the table mumma has mentioned apparently after making booking his DADI has messaged mumma the table no

I move towards it and the sight there surprised me

Mumma was sitting talking to his dadi with a smile that means she is enjoying herself

Two girls and two guys were also there they are his cousins i m sure of but i m doubtful with there names

God i should have googled it

How should i approach them its awkward

Thankfully mumma saw me and tell them that i m here

I move towards them with a small smile

" Namaste" i folded my hands Infront of his dadi and who reciprocated it the same

To my surprise all his cousins stood up shaking hands with me and telling me there name

I never met such rich people they have proper manners

After that we all settle down

I move a lil closer to mumma " You had the before lunch medicine" i whispered to her

" Hn bacha i did " i nodded at her

" So tejasswi how is it working with our brother" The eldest guy rohit asked making the girl of my age " Aradhya " glare at him

" It's okay "

" Okay? " He sounds surprised

" Rohit ! " Aradhya mumbled in a voice that's like why are you doing this

" Yaa its not like too much easy to be good but its not like too  hectic to be bad so okay is a middle word i guess "

" Why not nice then " He counters making aradhya shake her head

I could see his dadi's eyes on me as well

" Because there are few things I don't like but they happen so its not a nice experience but i can cope with it so i m okay with it "

" So you think my brother is harsh "

" Well not exactly but he is cunning no doubt in that harsh is extreme he is not as easy boss to work with but not a bad boss you can't bear he just have a tough way to deal with everything "

" And you are okay with same implying in your life " What is he trying to do i don't understand

" He is my boss and its a position above me and i respect it And i m okay with his ways but in life i m the boss of my life So no his ways won't imply in my life "

" So you are saying no to this Rishta "

" You are smart but i bear with your brother so i won't come in this word web of your's but still to reply you if something happens between us He will be an equal in my life no someone above me to follow And yaa i can say no to your brother i m not scared of him "

He give me a cheerfull smile " i like you girl " Aradhya shake her head " People say Bhai is cunning but he is no less dadi " she said hitting her brother's shoulder

" Aru bada hon mein tujh se "

" I m sorry from his side he is just too much sometime "

" No he just wanted to see my potential i give it to him back "

" You are a very smart women as well perfect to move along with Karan trust me i tested you for your own good practice you know i thought being his PA you might be too compliant to give him back"

" Karan bhai " the younger girl " shruti called out  and get up and move to him to hugged him

For the first time in the two years of my job i saw the great Karan Singh Raghuvanshii Smile

It was a small one but he looked content while hugging her
