Armaan look at me after miss awasthi leave the cabin

" She is a tough one she is not scared of me " I might have not noticed her before but in these two days she had showed me she is not scared of me

" she couldn't talk Infront of you "

" Because she is in a place where she can't afford my anger otherwise she would have never agreed to this deal and i did this with her bcoz i know the girl has a spine and she won't back off "

" Fancy coming from you huh? Don't forget it's a contract marriage "

" I never back off from saying the truth the girl has a spine that's why this can never work between us bcoz she is someone who will demand the things i can never give her So get your mind out of bullshit and go get the contract ready " after brushing him off i concentrate on my work

Tejasswi's pov

I m still in Shock i agreed to do the contract marriage shit with himBut  one thing i give him a credit of is he is a good business man

He might be a rude boss but his bussiness tactics are good

If he made me agreed to his terms he agreed to mine as well he didn't say no or go like i won't do this

So atleast i m in a fair deal that's a great relief

Moving inside the house i met the sight of my mother kniting a small hat for mili " Mumma " i call her out  making her turn her head and give me a beautiful smile 

" you are looking happy bacha ? " She asks with surprise as i was being gloom since past few days 

" Mumma the money is arranged for your surgery " i said moving closer to her 

" The bank agreed ? " she said palming my cheek making me feel bad for lie 

" No mumma my company provides employer loan So i applied for that and it was accepted " 

" bacha you shouldn't bind yourself to the company for me " i could see the panic in her eyes

I make her understand softly and then we have dinner

After that i move to my room to change and change

My mother's surgery will happen on time and she will be in more pain " The thought give me peace it made me feel light

Laying on my bed today I didn't felt disappointed or heavy it was easy to lose myself in the void of sleep

Next morning

I could see people talking And gosspying about the long stay in his cabin

I never cared what people think so it didn't matter much but the audacity surprised me like a guy come upto to ask he heard i m spending hours in his cabin

Like dude i don't even know your name how the hell you get the courage to come up and ask that

I glare at him and he went away but seriously i will go and comeback as soon as i can No need to give these idiots more stuff to gossip

So when he ask me sit this time i just shake my head and ask for the paper from his lawyer

" Ms awasthi sit we need to talk about some stuff before you sign"

" He was never this chatty before "I sigh and sot down

" Ms Awasthi " his lawyer cut him off to which be glare at him " You might need to change that habit start calling her by her name how will dadi believe us if you are calling her " Ms Awasthi"

He tried a atempt at his deep voice but he wasn't dangerous like his he have a power in his voice

" Armaan we will discuss this later Ms awasthi i wanted to know how do you need the money like in cash or a check or directly in your account like your salary " ohh yaa i forget to ask this only

" Sir i need to pay half before surgery and half after surgery but i guess we can pay all at the same point and i need to add the three lakhs from my acc so you can add the money in my account "

" Ms awasthi i said i will pay for your mother's surgery So i will pay the whole no need to cash in your savings and that's what is written in the contract And I don't back off on my words "

I nodded because thanking will be like hitting my head on a wall i know his reply will be " Its not a favour ms awasthi "

I took the contract from his lawyer and look at it

My eyes stuck on the 20 months doesn't he said we will stay married for 18 months

" Why 20 months is written here for my mother's caretaker"

" bcoz it might take his family atleast two months to get you guys get married but  you will come n go to udaipur in that time as well so there will no one for your mother that's why i add the part and Karan agreed to it "

" I can pay for the before two months before the marriage "

" Ms Awasthi the moment you sign our deal starts and the terms are to be fulfilled for both of us " that means he will pay for the caretaker

" I just don't like taking help especially if someone's spending money So "

" Ms awasthi there will be alot of money spending so you can't feel this at every prospect so get used to it "

What ? What money spending is he talking about

His lawyer might have read my tense expression " He means every time you will take flight the wedding expense the outfits and if you went to shopping with his cousins So all money will be his"

Ohh wait ! Shopping with his cousins? And outfits? God i didn't think that perspective Can i get another day to think over ?

" okay i will try but please i don't like dolling up or something do whatever outfits you were talking about please consult with me first "

His lawyer chuckle at me  making me frown " by outfits i mean the clothes you will wear on the wedding functions They will be of your choice ms tejasswi" his lawyer explained and i nodded

I signed the paper Infront of me and he did the same

Armaan Bid bye to him and leave and i also get up to leave

When suddenly he barg in again looking horrified

" Your dadi she is here " He said looking at karan

" Dadi? " his voice was surprised too

What's wrong in his dadi being here "

" That's not where the shits ends she is asking girl's arround about what they think of you "

" What !" Now his voice has a hint of anger

" I should go. " i said and moved out to my cabin

I was feeling edgy what would i say what will happen but then i saw the manager escorting an old lady inside

I sigh in relief and continue my work
