Mumbai is a city that people says never Sleeps and my boss thinks same goes for its people as well Or he thinks all people are like him i can never imagine him not glaring with his unique eyes Or he just likes to torture people I think this is the most fitting explanation about the timing he had set for us to report Like who ask his assistant to come by 8;00 am Sorry he don't request he Order and the off time is by 7;00 pm

what about my social life my friends ye alag bt hy ky i dont have friends neither do i have a social life i like to stay as closed off as i can be that's why i have survives being his PA for almost 2 years The things that keeps me going is the salary offcourse

Due to the job I was able to give my mother a House in a nice society and now this job is helping pay her hospital bills

My mother was having this continous headache and serious fatigue one day she almost fell down due to them so i had taken her for a checkup

The reports are yet to come i just everything is good with her

Its just her and me So i dont want anything happen to her this was one of the reasons i work in this place bcoz unlike Too many places i had given interveiw

The boss didn't ask me why i have my mother's surname or why the place of father name is having my mother's name he was too busy trying to test my patience and telling about his rules

He don't like questions if he is asking you " anything else " ask whatever there is don't go to his cabin again n again he don't like it

His desk should never be touched keep the files with you till he asks of them don't give more details than necessary its his office he knows what all is happening around here

And yaa he don't want any mistake the right of human being to make mistakes forget that exists if you are his employee there is no second chance in his world one mistake and you are out of the office it doesn't matter if that's a small mistake or big

For now i m working on the presentation that was supposed to be done by the employee he fired today and manager put that on me as if i dont have my own work

but that's the problem of being closed off they give less work to there friends thankfully i m not under anybody i report directly to the devil Sorry my boss

hush finally its done i yawn and close the laptop stretching i get up from my desk and took my stuff

Moving out of my cabin i look around mostly all had gone to home but the light of my boss's Cabin was on and like i said i highly doubt he sleeps i m not surprised he is working till late

Moving to the elevator i shuffle in my bag to take out my keys moving to the parking lot i made a beeline towards my scooter yaa i own a two wheeler well its installments are still getting paid but yaa having it is so much help especially in a city like mumbai

Starting my journey towards my apartment i feel free the wind playing with my hair touching my face its almost calming

But not for long as the locals market start passing by the calmness is replaced by chaos n noise

Reaching my building I park my scooter in the parking and lock it greeting the watchman i move to the stairs i live on forth floor so its not much

Opening the door with my key i enter the house and i m greeted by mily who come running to my legs

she is just so cute she was a stray my mother took her in and since then she loves my mother and she is white fur ball with the cute blue eyes how can anyone not like her

Picking her up in my arms i pat her head
" mily bily shouldn't you be curled up in your corner by now you lazy bug why are you running arround "

She meows at me and looks longing at the kitchen " you hungry? milly come lets fill your tummy "

Taking her with me i look for her cat food in the cupboard wasn't mom supposed to bring her food today

moving to her room i went in and saw her fully asleep " maybe medicine effect " shrugging it off

" come milly lets move to store and get your food " picking her up i move out of the house the store is in few minutes walk

getting her food and seeing her eagerly meowing at it i know this lil baby is hungry for long

moving back to the building i saw watchman uncle looking at milly with a kind of sympathy

" Kuch hua kiya ajj watchman " i ask him

" hn tejasswi beta ye bechari billi tumhare ghar ky bahar thi mein samjha suneeta bhen ji kisi paros waly kiya gayin hy aur ye wahan se aagayi pr pura din ye bahar hi thi tou humny bell bajayi aur wo ghar pr hi thi humko aur isko aise dekhny lagi jaise janti hi nhi ho pwo hir ye andr kood gayi aur unhony darwaza bnd krdiya "

" okk uncle maybe unki tabiyat thk nii hy aur mili uchal kood kr ri ho tou bahar krdiya thodi dair ky liye pr phir wo sogayi ho ya bhool gyi ho kabhi kabhi aisa hojata hy "

bidding him bye i moved upstairs my mother has did habit if forgetting where she had kept certain stuff but don't we all forget but these days its happening too rapidly and i m feeling guilty for not being able to be there for her

feeding milly i have my food putting her in her cutton bed i move to my room

too tired to do anything i had change in my shorts n top and just fall on my bed

loosing myself in the darkness so very soon
