SHOTA HUMMED as he walked into his room, he had just finished making breakfast and was about to wake Izuku for the second time that morning. He sat on the bed next to Izuku and brushed some stray hairs out of Izuku's face. Izuku hummed in his sleep and leaned into Shota's hand as Shota cupped his cheek.

"Love," Shota murmured as his thumb stroked Izuku's cheek, Izuku grumbled and reached for Shota's waist. His eyes cracked open as Shota leaned down to press a kiss to his forehead, "come on, breakfast is ready."

Izuku hummed rubbing his eyes as Shota pulled back and watched Izuku stretch. Izuku sat up and looked to Shota with a dopey smile, "wake and bake?"

Shota snorted while standing up and shaking his head, "food first, I'm not having you green out on me first thing in the morning."

Izuku grumbled but climbed out of bed to follow him out into the living room. He sat down at the table as Shota set down two plates of food and took his own seat.

"Midoriya, you completely ditched us last night!" Denki whined as their facetime connected, Izuku chuckled and shook his head.

"I know I'm sorry, I got swept up in some stuff." Izuku heard Shota scoff beside him, Izuku side eyed him as Sero pulled the phone away from Denki.

"I know a way you can make it up to us," Sero snickered and Izuku rolled his eyes, Shota gripped the steering wheel tighter, his eyes shooting daggers at Izuku's phone as if it was the offender.

"Anyways," Izuku started moving his hand to rest on Shota's thigh, "I'm sorry for ditching you guys, I'll make it up to you, not like that!" Shota gripped his hand lightly, lacing their fingers together.

"Fineee," Sero sighed flopping back on his bed next to Denki, "What are you doing today?"

"Going home and sleeping." Izuku replied looking towards the road, they were about five minutes away from his house and he could hear his bed calling his name from there.

"Didn't you go home last night? I thought something came up?" Sero questioned his brows furrowing. Fuck. Quick Izuku, make something up!

"Who are you, my mother?" Izuku teased making Sero roll his eyes.

"I'm just curious, I care about you and your whereabouts y'know?" Sero grumbled, making Denki giggle and tease Sero about having a crush. Izuku looked at Shota and tapped his finger against Shota's making Shota glance at him. "Is someone else there?"

Izuku hummed and nodded looking back at his phone but not answering any further. Sero asked who but Izuku didn't answer, the rest of the call was quick and Izuku hung up looking at Shota with a smile.

"I'm excited," he hummed and Shota raised an eyebrow in question, "about this." Izuku motioned between them with his free hand making Shota smile.

"Me too, love." Shota pulled Izuku's hand up to lips and kissed it gently making Izuku silently melt in the passenger seat. They pulled up to Izuku's house and Shota pulled his hand away from Izuku's to put the car in park. "I'll let you go and sleep, but we should talk about us soon."

Izuku nodded before leaning over the center console and stealing a kiss, "of course, I can come see you tomorrow if you'd like."

"I'd like that a lot," Shota smiled holding the back up Izuku's neck to pull him in for another quick kiss. "Now go inside and get some rest, I'll see you tomorrow."
