chapter 10, season 1

as eren began to pull off from your house, he asked you a question. "when do you think i should meet your parents?" the question kinda shocked you, but then again, it didn't. eren would have to meet your parents eventually, and you'd have to meet his too.

"honestly, i'm not sure, but i would definitely say soon because i doubt my dad'll let me go on dates with you again before he meets you." you explain. eren hums in response. "just let me know a time and i'll make it happen."

"maybe we can do a big dinner at my house. you and your parents can come and meet my parents." you suggested.

"that's definitely the most ideal. everything can happen all at once." he replied as he pulled into a parking space. "and here's the first stop." he smiled as he pulled his key out of the ignition and began to get out of the car. you did the same, but before you could fully open the door, eren stopped you.

"close the door." he told you. you shut the door curiously and waited for him to do whatever he was going to do. eren did a little jog around the car and opened your door for you. "when we're together, i'm always going to open and close your door for you." eren's statement made a light blush creep up on your face. he was truly a sweetheart.

"okay." you smiled as you stepped out of the car. you looked around and seen you were at the new cafe that opened up a few months ago. you always wanted to go, but you never found time since you always ended up going to the art store. (it's across the street)

"how'd you know i wanted to come here?" you asked the green eyed boy. he shrugged his shoulders. "a little birdie told me." he said as he opened the door for you.

you hum in amusement as you look around the cafe. it was decorated in neutral colors, with a few pink items around. overall, the cafe was cute and girly.

you and eren stood in line and waited your turn. as you waited, you both scanned the small menu and decided on what you both wanted.

eren leaned down and said, "hey, tell me what you want and you can go find us a seat." eren quietly told you. eren's warm breath on your ear made your stomach fill with butterflies. you unnoticeably shook your head to get rid of any inappropriate thoughts and told eren your order. he nodded his head and continued to wait in line.

you on the other hand couldn't find any seats inside. you figured the cafe would be packed early on a saturday morning. you looked out the cafe windows and saw a few empty tables right outside the establishment.

you walked outside and sat down at the wooden table and waited for eren. after about ten minutes, he came outside looking distressed. "you good?" you asked the brunette as he sat down and handed you your food.

"some girl kept harassing me for my number and then she wrote her number on my cup." he sighed. "you want me go in there and say something? i'm sure that made you pretty uncomfortable.."

he shook his head. "no, it's fine. i'm just glad that i get to spend my day with you." he innocently smiled and that brought a slight smile to your face.

"me too, yeager. me too."

"wow, i've never been to this barnes and noble before... it's so big!" eren watched you as you stared at the large bookstore in awe.

you two began walking around the store and just looked around until you found the manga section. you browsed the shelves looking for any new romance releases or any new series that you haven't started yet.

"you ever heard of this?" you held up the manga and showed it to eren. eren wasn't really interested in reading, so he has no idea what you were showing him. "no, it looks interesting though. what's it about?"

you explained to him the plot of jujutsu kaisen and he was very interested. "how far along are you?" he asked.

"volume fifthteen, imma get volume sixteen and seventeen today since it just came out." you told him
as you grabbed the two volumes. as you browsed around some more, eren found himself picking up the first two volumes of jujutsu kaisen for himself.

"if you like jujutsu kaisen, you might like chainsaw man, my hero academia, or hell's paradise." you tell him as you saw him looking through some shelves.

eren nodded his head and continued to watch you go through the shelves and pick out some manga. he picked up a few volumes of different shounen series just to start his collection.

you decided you've looked around long enough, and you were happy with your selection. "you ready?" you asked the tall boy as he grabbed another book from the shelf. "yeah." he replied as he walked over to you.

"wowwww." you starred in awe as you reach the museums sign. "how'd you know i wanted to come here?" you asked as you began walking up the stairs hand and hand with eren.

"connie said something about it." he smiled as he looked over at you.

"thats surprising." you began as you looked at the outside of the historic building. "thought min, or maybe even jean would've suggested that." you finished.

eren opened the door for you, which you thanked him for. "i mean, con is your twin, so i wasn't surprised." he said.

you hummed in response as you walked through the double doors. eren grabbed your hand and led you to the front desk.

"hello, how can i help you?" the secretary said as she typed away on her computer. "hey, i booked room number seven."

"okay, give me one second." the secretary handed eren two wrist bands. "these are how you entire the room. there will be a scanner on the door, or beside it. i can't remember." she slightly laughed. "anyways, enjoy your time, and let me know if there's anything i can help you with." she smiled. "my names gloria."

you and eren both thanked her and went your separate ways. as you and eren walked to room seven, you looked around the lobby. it was beautifully decorated with small, but elegant pieces of art work.

"five, six.... seven." eren counted until he got to the selected door. beside the black door was a scanner that read "scan your wristband." in bold red letters.

eren scanned his wristband first and then you scanned yours. the black door slowly started to open and you walked through it first.

you looked like a kid in a candy shop. your eyes twinkled like stars as you looked around the little museum. you walked further into the room with eren following behind you.

you went up to each and every piece of artwork. you really wanted to take in any and everything you could see.

eren personally wasn't that big into art, but after seeing you so into it, he was slowly starting to become a fan.

he knew never about the many different ways that people interpret art. he just thought that everyone saw and thought the samething, but he was wrong of course.

as you both walked around the room, you told eren what you thought about every piece. this let eren know that some paintings can really have deeper meanings. everything isn't just black or white, it can be colorful too.

you gave eren's dull life color.
