6 | Boyfriend
| time skip / a week later.
"Bye, Mom and Dad!" you energetically exclaimed, watching your mom and dad walk towards the car and keep their luggage inside.
You locked the door and went back to your room to get ready since it was just 7 a.m., and since your parents didn't tell you that Jungkook would come over at around 11 a.m., you were just jumping around the house after having breakfast from one place to another.
But suddenly, the doorbell rang.
You'd ordered pizza about thirty minutes ago, so you opened the door and saw Jungkook standing at the door with his bag.
You looked at the clock and asked him,
"Jungkook? Right now? It's not even 4 p.m. yet!"
"Y/n, did you seriously forget?" he made his way past you and kept his bag on the sofa, turning back at you to talk to you. "Our parents are gone for a business trip and I was supposed to come over here. Remember?" he reminded you, looking at you intently. You exclaimed and immediately nodded since you were embarrassed.
"Well then, I'll show you your room," you awkwardly said and told him to follow you upstairs.
"This is your room," you walked inside the room and showed him around. "Here's an attached washroom, and here is the cupboard where you can keep your clothes if you wish to... and yeah. That's it. Tell me if you need something. You'll either find me in the living room that's downstairs, or in my room, and you know where my room is," you spoke rapidly. Jungkook chuckled in amusement, noticing how fast you just blabbered out the instructions.
"Alright," he replied shortly.
The doorbell rang again. Expecting that it was pizza delivery, you ran downstairs, paid the delivery guy, and took the pizza.
You looked at the pizza's size and then at Jungkook's room that was upstairs. Since the pizza was so big, you decided to share it with Jungkook. After all, you'd also had your breakfast.
"Jungkook!" you called out his name.
"What is it?" he yelled back.
"Come downstairs. Let's have pizza," you stated in your normal volume since he was standing near the stairs now.
"Oh... did you order this for our date?" he wiggled his eyebrows teasingly as he rushed downstairs.
"A date with myself? Yes," you smiled cheekily at him.
"No way you were going to eat all of this alone, though. Just admit it," he winked at you.
Your heart began to pound against your chest, almost as if it was about to come out of your body. You looked around, trying not to let your gaze meet with his notorious one.
"Well... do you perhaps want to watch a movie?" he asked, noticing your nervous figure before him.
"Sure. How about—"
"Strangers In The Mountain!"
"Prediction Of The Chasm!"
The both of you uttered at the same instance.
"Oh, so you like romance?" he observed, happening to say that in a normal tone but you took it the other way around.
"Don't you dare tease me now!"
"I—I never teased you! I was just saying!"
"Yeah, yeah. I know guys like you very well," you scoffed, making him scoff in reply, too.
"Alright then. I'll leave. Finish this pizza yourself," he got up from the couch and was just about to walk away when you looked at the pizza and immediately held his wrist, not letting him go. He turned around with a raised brow and looked at your hand in his, which only went unnoticed by you at first.
"I can't eat all of this myself and I don't want to waste this, either. I'm sorry. Stay, please," you forcefully softened your gaze at him.
"But–"
"No buts!"
"My Lord... what I'm telling you is to leave my hand, madam!"
Your cheeks flushed crimson when you finally noticed that you were holding his hand for so long and you didn't even notice.
You let go of his hand with a jerk to which he made a face.
"Be gentle, woman," he snickered. "Now I know girls like you very well, too."
You looked at him sheepishly and then at the ground making him chuckle.
"You're so cu– hold up," his eyes widened and he immediately covered his mouth upon realizing what he was just about to utter. You looked up to look at him, asking him what happened since you didn't really hear him. He shook his head in response.
"Well... let's just watch a movie."
| time skip / evening.
"Jungkook?" you called out his name, stepping out of your room as you tried to find him. You wanted to inform him once before leaving the house for an hour or so since you were going to hang out with Joy.
"Hey, are you aslee– oh," you walked into his room and saw him sleeping on the bed.
"Wake up," you ordered, standing near the bed with hours hands on your hips but he didn't budge at all. You tried to wake him up lots and lots of times but he didn't wake up.
You leaned in closer to him to blow air in his ear to wake him up.
While you were nearing his figure while leaning down, you noticed him fluttering open his eyes making you jerk back to your normal posture.
"What is it?"
"I just wanted to inform you that I'm going to Joy's place to hang out for a bit."
"You could've just left, it's not like I'm your boyfriend or something," he spoke amidst his sleep. "Now onwards, don't disturb me when I'm sleeping. Goodbye and... have fun. Come back before 9 PM."
You walked outside the room, laughing a bit as you remembered how his face looked like when he said that. You took your jacket that had been lazily thrown by you on the couch prior to disturbing Jungkook's slumber.
You wore the jacket and tossed the keys onto your palm and left after locking the door.
The weather was rather cold with a brisk breeze blowing, and the clouds up in the grey sky were smoothly gliding across the sky. You took out your phone and clicked a picture before calling Joy to call her to the nearby park.
You walked to the park and sat on the bench.
There was no one in the park; no one around, even. So basically it was just you until Joy entered the park shivering, although she had multiple layers on her.
"Yah! It's so cold out here! Why would you call me in a weather like this?!" she ranted.
"Well, my parents aren't home so I was sort of bored. Also, I'm not going to school for the next two weeks so send me pictures of all the work that we do and maybe find another chick to hang out with till I'm absent... but hey, only till I'm absent."
Joy laughed and then said, "Are your parents out for a business trip?"
You nodded in response.
"My gosh. Why don't my parents leave for work or anything for at least a week?! C'mon, I need a break too!"
"Aha, sure you need a break after so much of lying down all day and watching TV and eating chips all day long," you smiled mockingly.
She hissed one again, rubbing the fabric on her arms.
"Let's go to your place and have some fun. How about that? It's really cold here," Joy suggested after a while of thinking.
"Oh, sur– wait, no! We can't go to my house right now," you smiled sheepishly, not wanting her to see Jungkook upon entering the house.
"Oh, and why is that?"
"Because... my house is really messy right now. It's not in its best condition, so–"
"Gosh, c'mon! Stop acting like I'm some stranger. We've been friends for fifteen years–"
"So what?! I should at least have the courtesy to not have my friend step into a filthy house!"
Joy rolled her eyes when she noticed your ears turning red.
"Your ears are turning red. You're lyin– oh, wait... perhaps, do you have someone at your house?" she wiggled her eyebrows.
"It's just because of the cold and NO, there's no one at my house. Okay? Let's just talk here," you insisted, but Joy sensed something suspicious and somehow, she managed to drag you to your house.
However, the key was still with you and you wouldn't give her the key so she just rang the doorbell. You looked at her wide-eyed with amusement.
"JOY–!" you screeched sharply, but before you could do anything, the door opened revealing Jungkook who was wearing a black outfit and had messy hair, making it seem like he'd just woken up.
"Oh, you're back so soon?"
