Whatever Suho said to Jugyeong, Miyeon didn't know, but she continued to run around doing him chores, even running off in the middle of lunch. Miyeon only hoped that what he was asking her wasn't too bad, and that Jugyeong wasn't getting too tired of it. And if he was getting her to do things out of school - it was just a bit over to top.
But Miyeon couldn't say anything, and was just glad to have Jugyeong hanging out with her, Sooa and Soojin - even if it was just for a few minutes before she had to rush off to help Suho again.
"We're going straight!" Taehoon said, stood in the corner of the classroom with one of his friends the next day, the both of them doing some sort of choreography. Sooa, Soojin, Jugyeong and Miyeon were making their way out of the classroom, making faces at the two boys. "Shining sunshine, swag, swag." He continued, the girls making their way through them, Miyeon pausing for a moment.
"You want to raise your arms more, and put your leg out a little bit more. Add a little more fluidity to your dance." She said, pushing Taehoon's elbows up before rushing out of the classroom, linking arms with Soojin.
"What's with that?" She asked. "Why isn't your boyfriend eating again?" Soojin looked over at Sooa, Miyeon's gaze landing on Jugyeong, who seemed tired.
"Oh, he's practising for an audition for a talent show at the festival." Sooa said, her words catching Miyeon's attention. "They're only selecting five teams because there are too many applicants."
"I was asked to do that." She said. "By a group of girls in the other class. I don't know if I will though, I haven't done anything like that for a while."
"You should go for it!" Sooa replied, having much more enthusiasm for her best friend partaking in it over her boyfriend. "It makes sense for at least one of you to do it - and I don't think Seojun would."
Miyeon was about to reply, when it didn't seem to only be here who had noticed Jugyeong's state. "Hey Jugyeong. You look so lifeless. Did something bad happen?" Soojin asked, all three girls peering over at the Im girl, who seemed to be dragging herself along.
"Oh, no. Nothing happened."" Jugyeong answered, but glancing at her phone a moment later, and it seemed to be a different idea. "Wait. I have to go somewhere." She said, unlinking her arm with Sooa's and dashing off in the opposite direction.
"Im Ju! What about lunch?" Sooa shouted after her, as Jugyeong ran through a crowd of students, who parted to let her through, questioning just why she was running off.
"She's a bit weird lately, don't you think?" Soojin said. "Hey, go get us seats." She said to Sooa, before pulling Miyeon down the corridor. "You've noticed it too, haven't you?" Soojin asked, as the two of them ran after Jugyeong.
Miyeon nodded, a frown appearing on her features. "She's been really busy - dashing off to do things at the strangest time. Like lunch yesterday, she had just sat down with her pork-" Soojin held a finger up to her lips as they slowed at the end of the corridor, peering around the corner.
Jugyeong was stood at the bottom of the stairs, and stood in front of her was Seojun, easily recognised by his hair and earrings. "Just wait a bit and I'll give it to you." Jugyeong said, Miyeon instantly connecting it to the helmet. "I'm sorry." The girl added as an after thought, before moving up the stairs.
"What's with her?" Seojun asked to nobody in particular, and Soojin put her hands on her hips, focused on him. Miyeon noticed, and her stomach dropped. In all honesty, she could be scared of Soojin at times - she was so powerful and storng, and this happened to be one of those times. Miyeon was lucky to not be on the recieving end of it - but Seojun was, and if he saw her with Soojin practically spying on him, it wouldn't be very good for her.
"Soojin, really, this isn't a good idea." Miyeon pleaded, as she followed the girl out of the school and around the area to where Seojun and his friends usually hung out. "I'm sure she has it under control - I think she could stick up for herself when it comes to it."
"This isn't the first time I've seen something like this happen." Soojin said in reply, as they rounded the corner where the group of boys were, messing around with various sports balls. "Hey, Han Seojun, are you some sort of gangster?" She asked, approaching the group. Miyeon winced, wrapping her arms around her torso and looking over the situation.
One of the boys fell off of a table at her sudden shout, and the group fell silent, eyes focused on Soojin, but drifting over to Miyeon - who didn't say anything.
"During the first semester, you always made the classroom atmosphere so brutal." Soojin continued, looking over to the boy who was sat on one of the old desk chairs, feet kicked up on a desk in front of him. "Now you're trying to extort a girl who just transferred here."
"Soojin-" Miyeon said, before covering her mouth with her hand and leaning against a wall, knowing she shouldn't get involved.
"You walk around with all these minions, trying to act like bullies, but they look insignificant to me, like anchovy poop." Soojin continued, the Hwang girl biting back a laugh. "If I see you guys trying to bother others again, I'm reporting you guys to the school and you'll be embarrassed to show your face here again. Do you understand, you anchovy-poop like people?"
With that, Soojin walked away, Miyeon going after her, feeling the stares of the other boys on her back. Despite Miyeon not being able to inform Soojin of the misinterpretation of Seojun and Jugyeong's conversations, she could say that now, there was no chance of Seojun somehow getting her to pay compensation for everything that his helmet had been through.
And for that, Miyeon was glad.
