The rest of the Christmas season had gone rather quickly and before the Falcone siblings knew it, the frost was gone and the burning sun had returned.
Dahlia had remembered how a couple days ago, Harry had woken and Ron. He had dragged then to this mirror in one of the hall ways where he had said he had seen his parents.
When they arrived there all Ron saw was himself as head boy and Quidditch captain for Gryffindor while holding the house cup. Dahlia on the other hand had seen her family and Harry's family including his parents alive and healthy having a picnic.
The sight had greatly confused the children bit it didn't matter much because they haven't spoken of it since.
Time had passed quickly since and now Dahlia along with Hermione, Ron and Harry were sitting in the great hall studying, well Hermione, Harry and her were. Ron was playing with his cards.
Demetria was getting some study help from Cedric and Cordelia at the Hufflepuff table.
Dahlia was busy taking notes from her Fourth Year Level Elemental Spells: By Marisol Da Vinci when Hedwig landed on some of Harry's books.
"Hey Hedwig." Harry greeted the bird while Dahlia smiled at her, surprisingly Tewksbury didn't hiss.
Dahlia noticed this and looked down to her lap to see the black and white cat sleeping soundly.
"Look at you, playing with your cards. Pathetic." Dahlia snorted at her friend's words. "We've got final exams coming up soon."
"I'm ready ask me any question." Ron assured.
"All right. What are the three most crucial ingredients in a forgetfulness potion?" Hermione asked the ginger.
"Forgot." Ron answered before avoiding her glare.
"And what may I ask do you plan to do if this comes up in the final exam?" The girl responded while Harry and Dahlia snickered to themselves.
"Copy off you." Ron sneered.
"No you won't!" Hermione replied quickly with a pout. "Besides, according to professor Mcgonagall we're to be given quills bewitched with an anti cheating spell."
"That's insulting! It's as if they don't trust us!" The ginger ranted. "Dumbledore again!" He continued as he threw the card onto the table.
Dahlia went back to her notes before she heard laughs fill the hall. She turned to the entrance to see Neville hopping over to the group. She looked down and noticed his legs were bound together.
"You have got to start standing up to people Neville." Ron told the boy.
"How? I can barely stand at all." Neville responded as he tried to keep his balance, Dahlia held his arm to try keep him steady.
"I know the counter curse." Seamus chirped as he sprung up from his seat and held his wand.
"Well that's all I need, you to set my bloody knee caps on fire." Neville told the boy, declining his offer making him slam his wand onto the table
"I don't appreciate the insinuation Longbottom! Besides if anyone cared to noticed, my eyebrows have completely grown back!" He spat before storming off.
Dahlia and Hermione noticed the massive bold spot on the back of his head as he marched off, making the girls hold in their laughs.
Dahlia pulled out her wand and pointed it and the boys bounded legs.
"Solutus." She enunciated, releasing the boys legs.
Neville smiled and hugged the girl before sitting down next to Dean.
Dahlia had only taken her eyes off her group of friends for a mere second and now they were collecting their books and walking out the hall.
Demetria who had been walking over to join her friends suddenly found herself being pulled away from her original path by Hermione who was leading the way.

They had settled in the library while Hermione went to look for a book. Demetria looked up from her DADA notes to see her friend carrying a book that was half the size of her.
"I had you looking in the wrong section. How could I be so stupid." Hermione scolded herself before slamming the book on the table, startling Dahlia and making Harry quickly pull away his book. "I took this out for a bit of light reading."
"This is light?" Ron questioned the girl earning a glare.
"I've never seen a book this huge in my life and that's coming from someone who started her Elemental school career when they were seven." Dahlia agreed as her friend paged through the book.
"Of course, here it is. Nicholas Flamel is the only known maker of the Philosophers Stone." Hermionie read from the old page.
"The what?" The boy said in unison, sounding confused.
Dahlia and Demetria had heard of the stone before but they never knew who made it.
"Honestly, don't you two read? The Philosophers stone is a legendary substance with astonishing powers. It'll transform any metal into pure gold.l and produces the elixir of life which will make the drinker immortal." The girl continued.
"Immortal?" Ron said sounding confused, again.
"It means you never die." Hermione explained.
"I know what it means!" Ron barked back, earning a shush from Harrh and Demetria.
"The only stone in currently in existence belongs to Nicholas Flamel. The noted alchemist, who last year celebrated his 665th birthday." Hermione finished. "That's what Fluffy's guarding. That's what's under the trapdoor, the Philosophers Stone."

Dahlia had decided to take a study break and left the common room with Hermione and Demetria who joined them in the common room earlier, the two decided to take a stroll around the castle and some how found themselves in the court yard. Students were scattered across the grass, some studying, others having a chat.
Draco, Crabbe, Goyle and Evanora being the latter saw the trio walk in. The soared them a glance before continuing with their conversation. Draco didn't just glance, he stared at them as they walked past.
'Don't be a part.' He thought to himself before pushing himself onto his feet and following the trio.
Evanora shoved the two other boys before the scurried after the blonde. The furrowed their eyebrows when they realised who they were following.
Hermione who realized they were being followed, got the attention of her two friends making them pause in their tracks and turn around slowly with confused expressions. The two groups faced eachother. Each person apart from Draco and Dahlia had crossed their arms and glared.
"Granger, Demetria." He greeted confusing the girls as he cleared his throat nervously. "I'd like to talk to Dahlia for moment if you don't mind."
"He called me Granger, this is odd, extremely odd." Hermione whispered into Dahlia's ear.
"I know, I can tell." She responded quickly.
Demetria looked at the blonde entourage for a moment. "Sure, I guess." She trailed on in the first bit, " Come on Mione, I'll introduce you to Cedric and Cordelia. If you need help just scream" She finished, whispering the last bit before taking her friends hand and pulled her towards the older Hufflepuffs who had been watching the interaction.
Dahlia felt the glares of the three other Slytherins as she gulped nervously while fiddling with her fingers. Draco noticed this as his gaze softened.
"Alone." He told his three friends before shooing them away.
There the two old friends stood, alone at last.
Well, from a distance Hermione, Demetria, Cedric and Cordelia watched.
"What's happening?" Cedric asked his other sister.
"I honestly have no clue." Demetria responded before diverting her attention back to her best friend.
"I...uh...don't usually do this...but-" Draco started.
"But?"
"I'm sorry. For everything. For ignoring you, for making fun of you..."
"When did you make fun of me?" Dahlia asked the boy as she crossed her arms.
"Uhhh...don't worry...look. I'm sorry for being a horrible friend. I want to make sure we're still friends. Please let us still be friends." Draco begged, Dahlia looked into her friends eyes, seeing the sincerity, she smiled.
"Of course you git." She chuckled as she shoved his shoulder. "We've been friends since before we could we could hold quills." He laughed before pulling her into a hug.
"Well that went down a whole different road than expected." Hermione said as she watched the two reunited friends.
"Since when were they friends?" Cordelia asked her sister and friend. "Slytherins hate Gryffindors, that's how it been for years, it's how it's always been."
"Well, they've been friends since they were babies and Dahlia is the first Gryffindor in her family bloodline, both Elemental and Wizard sides." Demetria explained.
"So what were her relatives, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw?" Hermione asked
"Her mothers side were Ravenclaws and fathers side were some of the most well known Slytherins known to date. That's mainly how the families know eachotherso well" Demetria continued, Dahlia and Draco walked away as they talked some more.
"What? The Falcones?" Cedric asked.
"Nope, when Dahlia's parents got married, they decided to take Professor Falcones name instead of Raymond's."
"Then what was his last name?" Cordelia asked.
"I have no clue. He doesn't speak much about his family. Him and his parents are on good terms but even they took Edith's name. Apparently something happened between Dahlia's Grandfather and his brother they haven't spoken since they graduated Hogwarts." Demetria finished.
The two gingers looked at eachother, concerned. What big family secret could the Falcones be hiding?
