elizabeth enveloped her best friend in a giant hug as she came into view.

sadie had left the comfort of jakob's car to greet the younger girl properly before they drove towards their destination.

"i've missed you!" the girls swayed back and forth, only breaking apart when a honk sounded from the car behind them.

they looked back to find jakob glaring at them while waving for them to get into the car, and beth was quick to give him the middle finger.

"way to ruin the moment, jake," she huffed as she entered the backseat of his old volkswagen.

"stop stealing my girlfriend," he huffed back.

"she's my girlfriend actually," beth stated as she leaned forward to give sadie a hug from the back.
