My heart stopped.

It literally stopped, causing me to black out completely. Before I lost consciousness, I saw all the doctors hurrying to my side, panic in their face, the loud and annoying beeping of the monitor beside me, not assisting me in any way.

What did they mean? Why couldn't they see you, when you were right there? Were they blind?

Perhaps it was them who needed medical attention, not me.

I was so confused. I was starting to wonder why you had no scratch on your body from our fall. You looked perfect as ever, no sign of damage on your body.

It was as if. . . you hadn't even fallen down with me in the first place.
