you asked makayla while she was
twisting her hair in front of her big mirror.

"i was thinking a girls trip but like we have to be three people"
makayla shrugged as you moved behind her to help her with the hair.

"why tho? we can do it only us or with the boys"
you said taking a quick glance to your phone.

"girl i said 'girls trip' not 'girls, miles & ganke trip"
makayla rolled her eyes as you both finished twisting her hair and she picked up the big ball of her hair and threw it in her plastic trash besides her desk.

"miles flying to puerto rico for the
whole summer anyways”
you said shrugging while laying on her bed.

"yo mom even gonna agree to you traveling alone?"
makayla asked while she unlocked her phone and scrolled through it.

you groaned annoyed at the thought that your mother wouldn't allow you unless its with miles or his family but makayla wanted a girls trip this summer so bad.

The whole day the two of you spent doing different things, scrolling on the phone silently to blasting music, napping together and now makayla was braiding your hair into cornrows while you were both watching baddies east on the tv in her room.

Just when you wanted to speak up,
your phone started ringing. Makayla reached it for you
as her eyes were still set on the tv and you picked up the call.

”watchu want?”
you asked on the phone.

”you at kayla’s?”
miles asked and you hummed as an answer.

”aight cool just wanted to know what you up to”
miles said and fell silent before speaking up again.

”we just chilling, nothing too extreme”
you told him and he hummed aswell.
this conversation was probably your most
awkward one.

he talked as you listened, not bothering to put it
on speaker because makayla was being nosy and
putting her ear by your phone to listen aswell.

you said shrugging even though he couldn't see it.

”yeah im sorry again, are we good tho?”
miles asked and you told him everything was good
though..you did want to talk to him about those weird
feelings you had for him but that was another story for another day.

After the conversation and some jokes on the situation
you hung up and makayla rolled her eyes.
