## . .◜﹫ BACKSTORY OVERVIEW ━ bunma grew up in a very christian family. when he was younger, he didn't really realize the issues with his parents and how they treated him, or other people. they had moved to canada for a few years for his father's work, and had made a really good friend there, who, until becoming an adult and being friends with again from online connections, realized he had been in the same familial situation as his own. it wasn't until he was in high school and had a transgender friend, that he would talk about all the time to his parents, that he realized their faults in their heavily religious mindsets. they didn't want him to talk about her around them, after finding out what she was. they would degrade her, and the things they said really hurt bunma, in personal ways that he didn't know why.

it wasn't too long before bunma realized that he liked men, as well as women. he thought that if he told his parents that he liked both, they would be less upset at him. but it was the exact opposite. the whole year of him being fifteen after coming out was awful. not only did his parents treat him badly, and attempted many ways to change his mind about his sexuality, but his sister did too, who he really looked up to. he knew he really couldn't be in this situation anymore. bunma had been in choir in band in school, and had a little bit of a desire to sing, but not a lot. however, if he could leave his situation and move to a whole other country, escape his family for good and show them what they missed out on, then he would, and he did. thankfully, later on, when bunma was 25, his sister apologized for everything that happened, and they got in touch again.
