↪ since then, it has been 6 days. both groups are now preparing to perform their versions of the theme song. tensions are rising, but friendships are also forming. let's see how they do on stage.

the stage lights turned on, revealing the scenery of the stage with the love song logo in the middle screen. the girls all excitedly admired the stage, finding it to be a very pretty sight.

↪ before we begin the performances, i would like to mention that tonight, trainees will be eliminated from the show following the performances.

↪ two trainees will be eliminated tonight. this stage will mark as the final love song for some of these talented girls.

↪ as a group, i think you all did incredible. individually, not so much.. brianne, i was very impressed. you really improved from your last performance. tanaka hazuki, you've also improved greatly..

⊹ ࣪ ˖ BAEKHO﹢꒰ JUDGE ꒱ :
↪ as a group, i also think you guys did great. some members really stood out and hid the less improved members in their shadow.. kim yunhee, you still haven't improved any.. the same goes for a couple other members of this group, but you stood out the most. you were very unstable while performing.

the rest of the judge feedback was cut by mnet to meet screentime requirements. almost all cuts were taken from the high grounders performance, none of their feedback making the official airing episode.

⊹ ࣪ ˖ KIM SEJEONG﹢꒰ MC ꒱ :
↪ both groups gave incredible performances, but unfortunately, 2 trainees will be eliminated tonight.

⊹ ࣪ ˖ KIM SEJEONG﹢꒰ MC ꒱ :
↪ let's begin by telling the viewers and the contestants how the eliminations will be decided.

the screen switched to show a visual demonstration of what kim sejeong was describing.

⊹ ࣪ ˖ KIM SEJEONG﹢꒰ MC ꒱ :
↪ each contestant will be given 23 hearts that they must give to the trainees they wish to stay in the competition. trainees will not be allowed to give themselves hearts, and there is no limit to the amount of hearts each trainee can receive.

⊹ ࣪ ˖ KIM SEJEONG﹢꒰ MC ꒱ :
↪ 4 trainees with the least amount of hearts will go head to head in a solo performance battle. 2 of the 4 trainees will be chosen by the judge to stay in the competition. the other 2 trainees will be eliminated from the show.

⊹ ࣪ ˖ KIM SEJEONG﹢꒰ MC ꒱ :
↪ on top of that, the hearts also determine the royals for the next round. this time, only 3 trainees will become royals, so choose wisely with your votes. all royals currently still have a chance at elimination in this episode.

⊹ ࣪ ˖ KIM SEJEONG﹢꒰ MC ꒱ :
↪ before we allow the trainees to distribute their hearts, i would like to ask everyone. did anyone notice that i said "judge" earlier? as in singular judge? we have a surprise judge who will be choosing which of the 4 trainees they would like to stay in the competition.

⊹ ࣪ ˖ KIM SEJEONG﹢꒰ MC ꒱ :
↪ they haven't seen any of the trainees past performances or behind the scenes moments. the first time the judge will be seeing them will be in that moment. make sure you give it your all in the elimination battle, also known as the dethroning ceremony.

⊹ ࣪ ˖ KIM SEJEONG﹢꒰ MC ꒱ :
↪ now, i ask that all trainees sit back down in the audience. underneath each seat is a tablet. the tablets will be used to distribute your 23 hearts.

the 24 girls all sat down in the pink chairs in the audience, nervously grabbing the tablets from underneath their chairs.

as the trainees began distributing their hearts, a series of confessionals began.

↪ all of the hearts are now distributed. i would like to announce the 3 royals of this episode before we dig in deeper.

⊹ ࣪ ˖ KIM SEJEONG﹢꒰ MC ꒱ :
↪ the trainee with the most votes received 38 votes in total. she was apart of low ground despite originally being selected to be in high ground.

the screen panned between a few of the low ground trainees that she could possibly be talking about before landing back on kim sejeong.

⊹ ࣪ ˖ KIM SEJEONG﹢꒰ MC ꒱ :
↪ the trainee who received 38 votes and is the first place royal of this episode is . . jang myunghee!

jang myunghee immediately bowed to everyone with a big smile on her face. she was incredibly relieved and thankful that people liked and appreciated her enough to give her so many hearts. when the screen showed her face, her eyes seeming held a twinkle of happiness in them.

⊹ ࣪ ˖ KIM SEJEONG﹢꒰ MC ꒱ :
↪ the second place royal received 26 votes. she is currently apart of high ground and she was a leader for this current performance.

the screen panned between choi ara and myung haesook, showing that they both looked surprised before panning back to kim sejeong.

⊹ ࣪ ˖ KIM SEJEONG﹢꒰ MC ꒱ :
↪ the second place royal is . . choi ara!

myung haesook wrapped her arms excitedly around choi ara, congratulating her for reaching the royal status. choi ara smiled wide and appreciatively hugged her back.

⊹ ࣪ ˖ KIM SEJEONG﹢꒰ MC ꒱ :
↪ now the third and final royal received 24 votes. she is apart of high ground as well and was a royal.

⊹ ࣪ ˖ HAN WOOYEON﹢꒰ SM ꒱ :
↪ could it be noh hwajin?.. byun yura? mae sihyeon?.. [ she whispered to jang dohyun ]

↪ i really don't know.. all would be such good picks. [ she whispered back ]

↪ the third place royal is . . mae sihyeon!

↪ omo-mo?! [ she covered her mouth, surprised at her name being called ]

mae sihyeon respectfully bowed to the people close to her, still in surprise at her name being called.

↪ now with the royals announced, let's get into the trainees who are at risk for elimination tonight.

⊹ ࣪ ˖ KIM SEJEONG﹢꒰ MC ꒱ :
↪ in twenty first place, this trainee received a total of 12 hearts. she was in high ground, and —

kim sejeong swiped on the tablet to reveal the fourth-to-last place trainee and immediately widened her eyes in surprise.

⊹ ࣪ ˖ KIM SEJEONG﹢꒰ MC ꒱ :
↪ she was also a royal. i did not expect this trainee to be so low.. the twenty first place trainee is myung haesook.

all of the contestants immediately gasped and looked over to myung haesook, shocked that she received so little hearts when all of the trainees liked her a lot. myung haesook looked down and only nodded, keeping her confidence that she will push forward and impress the surprise judge enough to choose her.

⊹ ࣪ ˖ KIM SEJEONG﹢꒰ MC ꒱ :
↪ the — um.. in twenty second place, this trainee received a total of 10 hearts. she was in low ground. this trainee is kim yunhee.

⊹ ࣪ ˖ KIM SEJEONG﹢꒰ MC ꒱ :
↪ in twenty third place, this trainee received a total of 4 hearts. she was also in low ground. this trainee is kwak hyeonju.

⊹ ࣪ ˖ KIM SEJEONG﹢꒰ MC ꒱ :
↪ and in last place — oh.. in last place, this trainee received 0 hearts. she was also a low grounder. this trainee is shin yeeun.

shin yeeun looked shocked at the announcement and looked around her to the other trainees before looking back to kim sejeong who was on the stage.
