all 12 of the girls were practicing the dance and to be completely transparent, it was a mess. they were all just beginning to learn the dance, so it was expected.

suddenly the practice was interrupted by choi ara who turned to face myung haesook,

↪ haesook, you nearly trip harue every time we do this move. please try to space out a little so no one gets injured.

choi ara got back into her starting position and jang eunseo restarted the song. the group started to practice once more when she noticed that byun yura was facing the wrong direction.

jang eunseo laughed and paused the music before going back to the confused byun yura. eunseo placed her hands on yura's shoulders and gently turned her the right direction. yura laughed shyly and apologized immediately.

jang eunseo went back to the front and started the song again. the practice was now going much smoother and the dance was coming together.

they replayed the song a second time but halfway through, a thump and loud shout was heard.

⊹ ࣪ ˖ ZARA SHEN﹢꒰ YG ꒱ :
↪ yah! i told you like 4 times already to give me space. you keep ramming into me mid position change, and this time you managed to knock me over! [ she stood back up with the help of lee chaein ]

the two girls sighed and stopped arguing. the group went back to practicing and everything began going well. everyone was beginning to improve.

in the low ground practice room, everyone was calmly performing. they all seem to have made much more progress than high ground with far fewer clashes.

↪ everyone is doing great! let's all take a quick break and come back in 10 minutes.

everyone agreed and stepped out of formation. some of the girls sat down against the walls, some in the chairs drinking water, and some standing in the corner away from the rest of the girls chatting.

↪ i'm so fed up with seolji.. she is talented, but she whines so much. can't we just practice with the music instead of hearing her whine every time she messes up?

han wooyeon walked away from shin yeeun without another word leaving shin yeeun in the corner with her arms folded in annoyance.

back in high ground, they only now had taken a break from their practicing. everyone was silently drinking water or laying on the cold floor apart from one; zara. she had only been frowning on the bench away from everyone else.

well, that was until she decided to stand up and make her way over to lee haemin.

⊹ ࣪ ˖ ZARA SHEN﹢꒰ YG ꒱ :
↪ can i talk to you for a minute?

choi ara, who had been sitting beside lee haemin, looked up at zara in surprise. she didn't expect zara to speak with haemin after the situation from earlier.

⊹ ࣪ ˖ LEE HAEMIN﹢꒰ HYBE ꒱ :

lee haemin stood up from her spot on the floor and followed zara shen into the individual performance room.

↪ look, i know i might have come across as rude earlier, but i really didn't mean to sound rude. i have a tendency to snap under pressure and i took my stress out on you.. you know i was so nervous, i couldn't think of anything else other than this mission..

lee haemin stared at zara shen for a moment before suddenly breaking into tears.

back in low ground, the trainees had finished their break and started to practice once again. everyone was getting the most of moves right and the dance was really coming together.. except from the part where brianne go was being lifted into the air by jang dohyun and shin yeeun.

the group had redone that part hundreds of times and still could never seem to get it right. if jang dohyun and shin yeeun got it right, brianne would stumble and nearly fall off of their arms, and if brianne got it right then one of the other two would make a mistake. it was a mess.

at the moment, jang myunghee was trying to help them get it right by instructing them on what to do step by step.

⊹ ࣪ ˖ JANG MYUNGHEE﹢꒰ JYP ꒱ :
↪ okay, now lower yourselves to be across from the back of briannes knees..

⊹ ࣪ ˖ JANG MYUNGHEE﹢꒰ JYP ꒱ :
↪ now brianne, sit on their arms. when she is fully seated, you two need to push up with your knees and chest and keep steady.

they all did as instructed and almost got the part right until brianne lifted her arms in the air to start her part, causing her to lose balance and slide off of their arms back onto the ground.

✧˖° BRIANNE ୨୧ GOᣞ ⟢ : why can't i get this move right?.. i am trying so hard, but it is so difficult. i am so thankful for myunghee, because with her help we have improved a little. i think we are getting closer though.

↪ that's alright! just ignore it and move on. let's start from the top. do exactly as i said. 1, 2, 3, 4 [ she pointed to the 3 girls, and the other girls surrounding them started singing the beat of the song with the word "na" ]

the 3 girls started doing the move, recalling each of the steps that jang myunghee gave. jang dohyun and shin yeeun securely grabbed each others arms and bent down, and brianne sat down. the two girls stood up straight and kept their arms steady.

after many tries, they finally got the move right. brianne had her solo moment and then the two girls bent down, allowing brianne to stand back on the floor.

excitedly, the 3 girls ran and hugged jang myunghee, all of them jumping up and down together in excitement at being able to do the move. the rest of the girls cheered for them, happy that they were finally able to get the move right.

⊹ ࣪ ˖ JANG MYUNGHEE﹢꒰ JYP ꒱ :
↪ alright! let's take the whole thing from the top all together. we got this!

the group all quickly got into position and jin seolji turned on the music. they all started to dance and sing their lines at the same time. they managed to get through the practice with zero mistakes.

↪ great job everyone! we are set to win.

the group took another break to celebrate being able to complete the performance. everyone had quick drinks of water aside from shin yeeun. instead, she went over to kim yunhee and jang dohyun, sitting down beside them.

↪ ahh.. my back hurts so much. brianne is so heavy.

everyone in the room looked over in the direction of the girls after hearing kim yunhee suddenly shout. everyone looked very surprised because yunhee had never raised her voice to anyone before. she had always been very soft spoken and polite.

↪ what's the problem guys?

↪ nothing. literally nothing. [ she sighed and stood up, walking away from the situation ]

jang dohyun followed behind kim yunhee, leaving shin yeeun alone.

back in high ground, they had practically aced the dance. almost everyone was perfectly insync and hit each move without missing a step. everything was going perfect.

↪ let's all take a quick break! we only have an hour left to practice for today, so let's make the most out of it.

all of the girls took breaks and chatted amongst each other. the atmosphere after the whole situation from earlier has greatly calmed down and everyone was back to being calm and kind.

within the group of girls, one of them looked very upset, but still tried to talk with everyone and pretend that everything was alright. that trainee was choi ivy.

the trainees were all talking when suddenly the door of the practice room opened, revealing the 2 special support mentors for this episode.

everyone was startled by hirano harue's sudden shout and looked in the direction she was looking at. the two special support mentors walked into the room.

for the next hour, the trainees in high ground spoke with the special support mentors and got advice from them. it was truly a wholesome moment.
