"Why," you said when he hugged you, "it hurts. It hurts a lot, Jouno."

His heart ached when you said his name. It would have been fine if he didn't injure you. You could have closed your eyes on time. You were aware that your ability would kill everything, including him if you didn't.

But he didn't trust you enough and it was heart-wrenching.

"You're awful," you hit his chest once, twice, thrice but he didn't move. He accepted whatever you threw at him as his arms hung loosely around your body. 

"You couldn't see earlier either, what's the issue now—", his cheek hurt, it hurt a damn lot and it hurt rightfully.

You shook his hands off of you. Blood dripped from the wound he inflicted on you. 

"Fuck you. Fuck you, Jouno Saigiku. I wish to never see–...hear...anything about you ever again. All I asked of you was trust and you couldn't even give me that." 

Jouno looked at his bloody hands, there was no going back now. The damage was already done. You lost your eyesight. And Jouno lost the only companion he thought he could protect.

This is so short but my attention span is shorter. I will write longer chapters in the future I promise, I just need the motivation :(
