WALKING DOWN THE STAIRS a familiar blond is seated next to my Godsister on the sofa, "Morning." I greet, looking over the food. Shoving a few grapes in, before noticing the yoghurt. Taking a seat, I enjoy my breakfast, "You had no right to do that." B says annoyed.

"I was trying to help you, B. I took a public bullet for you, let another rumour about me run rampant." Serena defends. Where B scuffs at, "You let a rumour about Valerie come too." she says raising her arm to me.

Looking up at my name they both look at me. Before shifting back to each other, "Yeah, and how that turned out? Gossip Girl already blasted out that it was just a cover-up for me. No one thinks she's pregnant, they just think I tried to cover my tracks." S claps back.

Which is true, the internet bully did clear my name. I'm not sure why, but she did.

"And that's not even the worst thing. The whole school heard, even Dan." she adds. Making me raise a brow, "That's kind of what the internet does." I voice.

A new pair of heels clicking against the tiles, "What's going on?" Elenore questions, feeling the tension, "Ask Blair. Her version of the story is always better." Serena says leaving the apartment. Whereas B stays quiet not quite knowing what to say, "Are you alright?" Elenore asks her daughter per Serena's request.

"Never been better."

"Well, Serena has. What's wrong?"

"I don't know. I can't be held responsible for her mood swings." B snaps, "Were you two arguing about the possibility that your condition may have returned?" the older Waldorf guesses.

Causing both Blair and I to frown at the thought, "No. And it hasn't."

"I heard you. The other day. In your bathroom, with the water running." she explains, yet knowing B doesn't want to tell her about the maybe pregnancy.

"That was me." I speak up, "I ate something at lunch. It didn't feel good, I didn't want you two to worry." I elaborate.

Causing Elenore to looks surprised, "Really?" she asks. Where I nod too, "With everything happening, I'm just really stressed. It's hard to keep food down. Especially that." I add. Making her hum knowing how stressful this time can be, "Maybe you two just need a little break. Visit Harold, Lyon is beautiful this time of year." my godmother offers.

"Maybe this summer." B offers, where I nod to. As Elenore stands up from her seating position, ordering us to continue to eat. Continuing to eat a few grapes I clear my bowl, "So.. are you going to?" I ask slowly.

And before I knew it, I was holding the brunette's hand as she was peeing on a stick. Leaving us to wait three minutes before we know if anything changes, "Now just waiting." I sigh.

Looks in the mirror she points at herself, "I'm not pregnant. I command myself not to be pregnant." B commands, "Even if you are, we will figure it out." I reassure, the bell ringing as a notification that the truth can be revealed. Taking the test she hands it to me, "You read it." so I do.

Giving B the news she wanted to hear more than anything. Leaves only one more task left, calling S to apologize for her behaviour. Also informing her about her miscalculation in sleeping with them both, "You were just so hard on me about Chuck. I didn't want you to judge me for sleeping with them both." B continues.

"I understand." S says immediately. Making us look at each other, "That was fast." B notes. Which Serena waves off. Just wanting to know if the brunette is pregnant, which she is not, "I'm so happy. I would have had no idea what to wear to a paternity hearing." the blond squeaks.

Making me chuckle, "Clean slate?" B asks, "Clean slate." S agrees.

Finally gaining a little calmed in our lives, arriving at school the older Bass was already waiting for her, "I'm going to class." I whisper, unliking our arms. Yet by the time I was in the hallways she has already caught up to me. The two had no idea what was to come next.

Class, after class, dragging on. Leaving me utterly and completely bored. Taking my phone I decided to check Gossip Girl on my way to Algebra.

'Looks like the Virgin queen isn't as pure as she pretended to be. If Blair Waldorf lied about that, what else might she be lying about? Who's your daddy, B? Baby daddy that is. Two guys in one week, talk about doing the nasty, or should I say being nasty.'

The blast causes my lips to part. As people whisper all kinds of horrible things about my best friend.

Trying to find her, I see a very angry looking Archibald walking, "Nate!" I call, only to be ignored. Said boy walks straight passed me, to Chuck. Who he proceeded to push on to his car, "Oh, fuck." I curse.

Quickly making my way over to them, "Did you get what you wanted? Like you do with all those other girls?" Nate questions angrily, holding his best friend in a choking hold.

Before letting go and pushing him back, "Yes, Nathaniel." Charles snaps, "I took what Blair kept throwing at you, and you kept trowing back."

"Oh, so somehow you screwing Blair for sports is my fault?" he questions.

"No one is screwing anyone." I chime, "It wasn't for sport. She needed someone and I was there."

"Oh, so you cared about her?" Nate asks one of his best friends, "You guys were broken up." Chuck defends.

Which is a lot knowing it is Charles, "For how long? A week? An hour?" Nate asks in rapid-fire, "Broken up, is broken up." I remind him, "Not now, Val." Nate says annoyed. Shaking his head, he wants to walk back into school.

As I push Chuck forward to say something, "Look, I'm sorry, all right?" he tries. Where the young Archibald stays silent too, "Nate, you know how long you two have been best friends?" I try to help.

"It's not okay, Valerie." he denies. Pushing Chuck back, "From now on, you stay the Hell away from me."

"Nate." Chuck tries, one more time, "Did you hear what I said? You stay the Hell away from me, Chuck." to no avail.

Taking my arm he pulls me closer to him, "Add Valerie to that as well." Golden Boy adds. Seeing the pleading look on his face, I sigh. Letting him pull me inside. Glancing back a very upset Charles stands there. Which he covers up in seconds, rather snapping at everyone that the show's over then following his angry best friend.

"Don't talk to him." Archibald almost begs, "Nate.." I trail off.

Shaking my head I look away from his orbs, "Talk to Tommy how much you want. But not him." he tries. As I continue to avoid eye contact, he lifts my chin up, "Please?"

"Okay." I nod, "But I won't avoid him forever." I add, "I'm not talking about forever."

Humming I leave to my next class. Until this agonisingly long day is finally over. Arriving home B immediately envelopes me into a bone-crushing hug, "Serena told Jenny. And she told Nate about me and Chuck." the brunette whimpers.

"What?" I ask confused, my brows furrowing as she pulls from the hug. Trying to explains the situation the best she can while taking deep breaths. Nodding at her words I rub her back, "Okay, why don't we call her. Let her explain what happened." I offer.

Leading us to now. The blond coming out of the lift, "I can't believe you told Jenny about me and Chuck." B starts right away, "What? I didn't." S denies, confused at the sudden accusation.

"Because of her everyone knows the intimate details of my private life. And now Nate's not speaking to me." Blair continues, "But I told you, B. I didn't tell Jenny. I don't know how she found out."

Standing up she hums, "Did you tell Dan?" Waldorf asks instead.

Immediately making realisation hit the blond, "You did. You told your low-rent boyfriend. And he told his social-climbing sister who wears my hand-me-downs, and she bladed to Nate." B snaps.

Making me sigh at the brunettes word choice, "V, say something." S tries, "Like what?" I ask, "Like how it's unbelievable she is attacking Dan and Jenny."

Smacking my lips together I shake my head, "Some things are better left unsaid. Chuck lost his best friend, Nate did too, B is hurt. Sometimes it's better to keep a secret." I explain.

I'm not a supporter of lying. But sometimes it prevents people from getting hurt.

"Val is right." B nods, "So, I'm going to ask you again. Did you, or did you not tell him?"

Where she stays silent too, "I did." Serena confesses, "But only because you didn't deal with it and I wanted advice on how to help you." she adds on, "I can't believe you don't get it. The rules are different for the Serena van der Woodsen's of the world. People expect you to party, and be wild. To sleep with whomever you want. Runaway, come back." Blair snaps.

Closing my eyes I lean against the pillar. Letting them fight it out on their own, "Wait, are we really going back there?" S asks offended, rightfully so.

"Guys, if you cross this line..." I warn them, "You shot your reputation to Hell a long time ago. It doesn't matter what you do, but we are Waldorfs." B says, ignoring my warning, "Well, since you and your reputation obviously don't need me and my low-rent taste, you and the Waldorf name can weather the storm alone." Serena says, turning to the lift.

Shifting her gaze to me, "She is not alone." I remind the blond. Pressing the button several times she leaves to go God knows where, "With pleasure." B answers long after the door has closed.

Arriving at the steps the next morning. B questions what Jenny's doing, "No, stay. Blair, given you, can barely manage your own messy affairs." Penelope starts, "Surely, you're not in a position to tell anyone where they can and can't eat." she adds on sassily.

Making both of us raise our brows, "Do you realize who you're talking to?" B and I ask in unison.

"You mean a self-righteous bitch who always sat on her own high horse judging everyone else?" Hazel comments, "Pregnant little hypocrite." she adds to that. Making my jaw drop, "Not that it's any of your business but I'm not pregnant." B defends.

"Nate must be thrilled." Penelope hums, "Chuck, too." Hazel adds.

"What are you talking about?" Blair asks confused, "The whole school saw them throwing down over your cheap ass." Hazel notes, using today of all days to give her opinions.

"The boyfriend and the best friend? Pretty classy." Penelope hums, "You don't know the full story." I defend, "Doesn't matter. Consider yourself dethroned, queen B." they decide, all walking up the stairs.

Jenny following suit, making me sigh softly. As B grabs a hold of the Brooklynite's arm, "It's highly unlikely that I will ever forgive you for going to Nate. But if you walk away from me now, I will also ruin you." B threatens, letting go of her.

"How are you going to do that?" the blond questions, not at all threatened by the just dethroned queen. Linking my arm with that of B, I shake my head, "We don't need them anyway." I shrug, where my queen sighs at.

"We can get hot chocolate, maybe bake a pie together. Enjoy a little normality." I offer.

"What normality? I'm all over Gossip Girl. Everyone knows my secrets, and you act like it doesn't matter. Which makes it even worst. Your reputation is intact because GG is fascinated by you and your purity. Whereas mine is gone."

My brows furrowing together at her words, "I didn't say sleep with them both. How is that my fault?" I ask confused, "You didn't stop me." Blair calls out, "I'm not your mother, B. I'm your friend." I remind her.

"If it wasn't for me you wouldn't even have this. No purity because you would have thrown it away already. No friends, because really. There is no V without B." the young Waldorf rants without realising what she just said.

"Maybe they were right." I say softly, making the brunette snap out of her sad place. Holding on to my arms B shakes her head, "No, no, V. We can bake a pie, have some normality." she offers.

Shaking off her hands I take a step down, "Actually, I would rather be alone. Have some normality on my own." I tell her. Leaving her there alone. Which let to a desperate attempt at getting the one person - whom she thought would be on her side - back. Sadly, that didn't go as planned, "Can I stay here?" I ask the boy standing in front of me.

"Yeah, uh... Sure." William nods. Hugging him I sigh relieved, "Is everything okay?" he questions confused, now noticing the tear-stained cheeks. Letting go I wipe my face walking further into his seemingly empty house, "Can I use the bathroom?" I ask, "Yeah, it's the-"

"I know." I softly cut off, cleaning myself up. I pull myself together to find the hazel-eyed boy leaning on the table. Ending up in a change of clothing, we watch a nineties classic; I Know What You Did Last Summer.

"I'm way better looking than that guy." William notes. Making me snore unattractively, "Sure." I nod, not convinced. Where he raises a brow at, "You think I'm not?" he smiles amused, "I think you are delusional." I retort, switching his ice-cream for my chips.

"Why am I delusional?" Will questions, "Ryan Phillippe and Freddie Prinze Junior are the most iconic nineties heartthrobs." I inform the Brooklyn resident.

"I could be the two-thousands heart-throb." he offers, "You could." I nod. Pausing the film and gorgeous young Ryan Phillippe from talking, "Show me your calcifications."

"Well, I'm nice. I'm smart, I'd take you out to dinner." he starts, silently hinting to the girl what he would do for her. Swallowing I hum, "Yes. And that's why Peoples magazine announces most considerate guy alive." I nod, smacking my lips.

Causing the brunette to raise his brows at the girl, "Just facts, baby boy." rubbing his arm. Nodding he holds back the smile until he can't anymore, "You are crazy." he laughs.

"I know." I smile.

The next day contained going to school and activity avoiding my Godsister.

Well, that was until Serena called, "I will be there as fast as I can." I tell her, quickly getting out of his bed.

Putting my pants on I can't think of anything but making sure Blair stays.

Turning around to a very confused William sits on his bed, "I've to make sure Blair isn't making the biggest mistake of her life." I inform him quickly. Kissing his cheek, "Thank you for everything, I'll call you. Okay?"

"Yeah. Yes, make sure she's okay."

Smiling softly I make my way out of the loft and as fast as I can to our meeting point, "Blair." I call, the blond arriving at the same time as me, "You want a lift to JFK?" B asks, "Your mom said you were going to France tonight." S tells her.

Making Blair sigh annoyed, "She has a big mouth." she curses softly, "B, we're your best friends. She was shocked I didn't know." Serena continues.

"Now you do." Waldorf retorts.

Shifting my gaze between the two I take a deep breath, "What I know is, that you know how much it hurted when S left without saying goodbye. And you were going to do the exact same thing." I remind her.

Making a frown appear on the brunettes face, "Is there any other reason you're here?" she questions, "Stay." we say in unison, "Don't let someone stupid scandal make you run away like it did me. Like it does everyone in our world." S adds.

Tears already blurring all three of our visions, "My whole life is falling apart." B whimpers, "Then we will rebuild it." I tell her, "You are a Waldorf, remember? People don't tell you who you are, you tell them." Serena nods.

"Stay and fight." I add, taking both of their hands in mine, "We will fight with you."

"I'm so embarrassed, I'm so..."

"So what? Start over. It can be done. I should know." Van der Woodsen cuts of reassuringly.

"We'll get through this together. All three of us." I tell her, "Promise?"

"Promise." we nod in unison, getting into a group hug.

One good scandal deserves another. Wonder who's going down next? Everybody.

At least if we have anything to say about it.
