Seora, since the moment she was born, was supposedly destined to live a successful life. She was born to two successful parents, and with that behind her, she was thought to go on to do great things.

Park Changgyun owned a large company, inherited from his now dead father. And so, in the first of many events - this particular one being his welcome to the company - many of his father's old partners and friends were invited.

It was at this party where he met Lee Hayeong, the incredibly beautiful daughter of one his father's closest friends. Their romance began on that very night, spending as much time as they possibly could on the moonlight balcony that was hidden behind the sheer curtains at the back of the hall.

Their relationship evolved over a year or so, and soon enough Changgyun and Hayeong were getting married, moving out of their apartments in the city and purchasing their own house in the rolling hills of Pyeongchang-dong, northern Seoul. It was an large, elaborate mansion.

To Changgyun, Hayeong was what kept the place alive. She seemed so bright and airy, almost ethereal the way that she lived. You would hardly believe that her upbringing had been so strict and suffocating, like his had been.

Within two years of being married, Hayeong gave birth to their first child. A boy who they named Jinseok. He was a bright little boy, but as he grew older it seemed more and more apparent that something wasn't right. It seemed that he had a mental state in which he thought and acted younger than he was - determined by psychologists when he was six, and had a mental age of a four year old.

Hayeong's angelic state seemed to break for just a moment with this. She was so perfect, everything about her life was so perfect. Except there was now this one, big flaw.

It was the first time that Changgyun would experience the true Hayeong, although at the time he assumed it was just the stress of the revelation. And eager to please his wife, Changgyun agreed to her wish to keep Jinseok out of the public forever.

The year after this discover, Hayeong was pregnant again, and in 1995 gave birth to a little girl, who they named Seora. She was the perfect little baby, and ever since her birth favoured over Jinseok. Despite the obvious favouritism, Jinseok clearly loved his baby sister, and Seora loved her older brother.

But as Seora grew older, she began noticing things. When her father was away at work, her mother would usually tell her what rooms she could and couldn't go in that time - and one time, Seora heard groans from one of the rooms.

She went to go investigate, but Hayeong would stop her, turning her away with a promise of everything being okay. But it wasn't. Hayeong's perfect appearance was slowly slipping away. And nobody but Jinseok would be there to witness it.

Nobody knew what was happening until one day, Seora had been told to stay in her room and not leave. She was sat by her window, and saw her dad's car pull in the driveway early - and thought that then it was alright for her to leave.

That would be a mistake, as Seora appeared on the balcony overlooking the living room, watching as her father enter the door, ready to shout his name. Only to see a look of utmost horror cross it and his briefcase to drop to his side.

Seora looked down, and just beneath her, was Hayeong strangling Jinseok. She had been abusing him behind closed doors for so long, and it seemed that this was the breaking point for her.

Jinseok was limp in her arms, but she continued. Nobody noticing the girl watching, Changgyun raced to Hayeong, pulling his wife off of his son, and what he did to her, Seora didn't know. But there was a splatter of blood on the floor and her mother disappeared.

She was taken away by some people for a couple of years, but returned to the only lively, now cold mansion once again when she was thirteen. Her father welcomed her, but he seemed different.

He had somehow managed to pass Jinseok's strangulation as something of his own doing, and somehow it was believed, and he had gotten his little girl brought back to him. But it was never the same, and when she was fifteen, Seora would return to the air in the house feeling rather heavy.

That night, her father would force her to take various pills and alchohol, Seora passing out as he tried to do the same, trying to get the both of them to overdose and die. His plan failed, and Seora woke up in hospital.

Her father had fallen into gambling and alcoholism after the incident with her mother and Jinseok. And he wanted to get out of it by killing himself and his daughter.

It had failed, and Seora moved in with her Grandmother, Changgyun's mother - who was absolutely horrified at the situation, as anyone would. It was a huge scandal, blowing up in the media - but as a minor, Seora was always kept out of it.

She became a trainee during that time, always having loved to dance and sing. She had auditioned for a few companies, and was accepted by BigHit when she was sixteen.  A year later, she was debuting in GLAM as the main vocalist, lead dancer, visual and maknae of the group.

It was her first taste of the idol life, but it wasn't what she expected it to be. Because after a little digging, her groupmate Dahee found details of what had happened with her father. And with that, she began bullying her.

It wasn't what you would define as normal bullying. It was far past that, Dahee inflicting pain whenever she could, insinuating and telling her things, using the information she knew about Seora's family to blackmail her.

But then, another blackmailing scandal came out. Dahee, along with a model Lee Jiyeon had blackmailed actor named Lee Byunhun. Seeing her chance, Seora informed BigHit of how she had been treated by Dahee.

In January of 2015, the group had officially disbanded. Seora was somewhat upset - however she was glad to be out of the situation. BigHit had chosen to no longer take anymore female trainees, and remove the ones that they had.

However, Seora was too talented for them to lose, and after asking her, following a short break that Seora had taken, she would re-sign her contract.

Debuting not in a group, but as a soloist, on the 15th August 2015.
