the fact that maeum had somehow ended up in a group with lee taemin was quite frankly unbelievable to her. they had met various times before, but the girl had been completely starstruck on all occasions. it was only when they were placed in a group together and maeum had to be able to speak to him that their friendship began developing, and they became quite close. and although maeum wasn't one to brag, being friends with taemin was probably something she could.

baekhyun and maeum had only been acquaintances before being in superm, and just like with taemin, their friendship developed as their time in the group went by. both were incredible vocalists, but that had all they really had been associated with as they began in superm. however, it became very clear that they were getting close quickly, and their interactions were a lot more visible and they seemed to really get comfortable with each other.

jongin was someone that maeum had been friends with for a long while. in fact, she had been friends with him since she was a trainee. and whilst she wasn't as close with other members of exo, she was very close with jongin. so close that they have both been involved in multiple dating scandals with one another. mostly fuelled by the fact they would dance in the rain together, get caught by sasaeng as leaving places together and has a tendency to visit each others' shoots.

maeum had been decided upon to be the first member of nct to meet the the two new additions, and to say that she practically fell in love with them was an understatement. shotaro was absolutely adorable, and everything he seemed to do would turn maeum to mush. she loved having younger siblings, and with the entrance of sungchan and shotaro, it was like she had gained two more.

sungchan was incredible - and maeum seemed to watch him with awe in her eyes. although they didn't have as many interactions on camera, maeum could always be seen checking up on him and making sure he was comfortable, and she would rather endearingly clean up after him if he was clumsy or forgot things. and she would get him mint chocolate- a rather controversial thing to like, but the both of them liked it either way.
