renjun and maeum only became properly friends during nct 2020, for some reason previous to that they had never really interacted outside of groups. however with nct 2020, it gave maeum a chance to befriend renjun, and as it so happened they got on extremely well and had wasted quite a few years when

to put it simply, maeum and jeno got on very well. they had met during 2013, when they both first came to be trainees and despite the slight age difference, they acted as if they were the same. jeno would tease her for her height and althought maeum would try and tease him back, she would just end up laughing and hugging him. she was even a guest on one of his asmr videos.

if there was anyone with nct dream which maeum would consider as having a sibling like relationship with, it was jaemin. and as it so happened, jaemin had always wanted a sister. maeum was practically his older sister at this point, and they treated each other as such. meaning that at every possible chance, they would tease each other and if jaemin ever need any help, he could go straight to her.

whilst a lot of their interactions ended up with them laughing, chenle and maeum were both practically angels, and although they hadn't spent too much time together since by the time chenle became a trainee maeum was getting ready for her debut and didn't have time before or after that to make friends. but they sometimes talked over text, and maeum was always there for him if he needed it.

maeum became a trainee just before jisung joined sm, and when he did, she instantly took to him. maeum already had a younger brother, however when meeting jisung as an eleven year old, she took him under her wing and then watched him grow up. he could be a little shit sometimes, but maeum loved him dearly.
