unlike most plots , in this one , the world isn't gonna end , like most plots , there's a dude trying to take over the world and a bunch of heroes who are teenagers and have powers . 

In this story , our heroes have only just figured out about their powers when the threat was identified , a mysterious person , identifying himself as Vylan ( i know , unoriginal ) , he figured out how he had the ability to gain a power once he killed someone with the power . As people with special abilities die , Vylan gains more powers and soon he believes he will be able to rule the world . 

The teenagers do not have help , the people in the world with powers descended from the original 100 people diagnosed with certain powers . The children and descendants of the original 100 also gained these supernatural powers . 

P.S. each main character is based off one of my close friends . not including some though , so don't be offended if none seems to be like you !
