ย  ย ย  STARRING at a photo of a stalker who was the one forcing Jackson to go around killing people was not how he wanted to spend his night โ€” especially at 2 in the morning.

"So, this kid is the real killer?" Stilinski asked, staring down at the yearbook photo with an unconvinced look painted on his face.

It appears Blaze missed a lot during his mini-breakdown. Something about Matt being thrown in a pool, Jackson saving him because he can't swim. Scott finds out Matt is the puppeteer who was controlling Jackson and that is why he came to find him, and the fact that Lydia drugged them to have hallucinations and she is nowhere to be found.

He needed a fucking drink.

"Yeah." Stiles nodded, sitting in his desk chair.

"No." Stilinski shook his head.

"Yes." Stiles nodded.

"No." His dad crossed his arms.

"Dad, come on. Everyone knows that the police look for ways to connect victims in a murder, okay? So, all you have to do is, like look through their transcripts and figure out which class they all had in common." Stiles stood up and explained.

"Yeah, except for the fact that the rave promoter, Kara wasn't in Harris's class," Stilinski told his son.

"All right, okay, you're right, sorry. Then I guess they dropped the charges against him?" Stiles asked already knowing the answer.

"No โ€” you know what? They're not dropping the charges. But that doesn't prove anything." Stilinski held a finger up to stop Stiles from going on one of his usual rants as he looked at Scott and Blaze, "Scott, Blaze, do you believe this?"

"It's really hard to explain how we know this, but you just gotta trust us," Scott said as Blaze nodded.

"We know it's Matt," Blaze said.

"Yeah, he took Harris's car, okay? Look, he knew that if a cop found tire tracks at one of the murders, and that if enough of the victims were in Harris's class, they'd arrest him." Stiles said.

"All right, fine. I'll allow the remote possibility but give me a motive. I mean, why would this kid want most of the 2006 swim team and its coach dead?" Stilinski asked the boys.

"Isn't it obvious? Our swim team sucks! They haven't won in, like, six years. Okay, we don't have a motive yet. I mean, come in, does Harris?" Stiles grimaced at the fact that they still didn't know why Matt was killing people.

"What do you want me to do?" His dad sighed, making the boys perk up.

"We need to look at the evidence," Scott told him.

"Yeah, that would be in the station, where I no longer work," Stilinski said like it was common sense.

"Trust me, they'll let you in," Stiles reassured him as Stilinski sputtered, staring at his son in disbelief.

"Trust you?" He asked him in surprised

"Trust... trust Scott?" Stiles pointed at Scott hesitantly.

"Scott, I trust." He nodded as Blaze grinned in amusement.

"I've started to get too familiar with this place." Blaze frowned as they walked into the police station.

"We look at the hospital stuff first, okay?" Stiles whispered to his best friends while his dad dealt with getting them inside.

"Why?" Scott asked, making Blaze scoff in disbelief and shoot him a "Are you really that dumb?" expression.

"This is what Isaac meant by not knowing how you survive. Because all of the murders were done by Jackson except for the women at the hospital which means someone from the hospital could've seen him." Blaze rolled his eyesโ€” it was simple knowledge.

"Boys." The Sheriff said as they walked into the office and waited for the older man to pull up the camera footage from that night.

"I don't know, guys. I mean, look at this. There was a six-car pileup that night, the hospital was jammed." Stilinski sighed.

"All right, just keep going. Look, he had to pass one of the cameras. On that floor to get to Jessica, okay? He's gotta be on the footage somewhere." Stiles reasoned with his dad.

"Oh, hold on, stop. Did you see that? Scroll back." Scott pointed out, making the man roll the clip back so they could rewatch it.

"That's him. That's Matt." Blaze pointed out, knowing the familiar head and jacket.

"All I see is the back of someone's head." Stilinski frowned in confusion.

"Matt's head, yeah. I sit behind him in history. He's got a very distinct cranium, it's weird." Stiles made a face as his father stared at him like he was an idiot.

"Are you crazy?" He asks him, making Blaze chuckle โ€” Now was not the time to be laughing.

"All right, fine, then look at his jacket, huh? How many people do you know who wear black leather jackets?" Stiles pointed out.

"Isaac, Derek, Me, Matt, even Scott." Blaze shrugged as Stiles gave him a look.

"Okay, can we scroll forward? There's gotta be a shot of him coming at one of the cameras." Scott said making the man sigh again as he did as he was asked.

"Right there. Stop. Stop. See? There he is again." Stiles exclaimed pointing at the screen again.

"You mean there's the back of his head again." His father rolled his eyes.

"Okay, but look. He's talking to someone." Stiles says.

"He's talking to your mom," Blaze said to Scott who was looking at the screen in surprise before he pulled out his phone and quickly called her.

"Scott, you know how many people I deal with in a day?" Melissa asked him after he had called about her talking to Matt.

"This one's 16. He's got dark hair, and looks like a normal teenager." Scott sighed as he spoke into the phone that was on speaker.

"Yeah, he looks evil," Stiles said into the phone.

"Scott, I already talked to the police about this," Melissa told her son.

"Okay, Mom. I'm gonna take a picture and send it to you." Scott said grabbing his phone and snatching a picture from the yearbook before he sent it, "Did you get it?"

"Yeah." Melissa nodded, making Blaze silently curse under his breath. Why couldn't the women just give them a yes or no? Why must everything be dragged out?

"Do you recognize him? Do you remember him?" Blaze asked in annoyance.

"Yeah, I did. I mean, I remember I stopped him because he was tracking mud in the hall. Scott, what's going on?" Melissa asked as the group shared a look.

"It's nothing, Mom. I'll explain later. I gotta go." Scott quickly said, hanging up the phone as Stilinski grabbed a file.

"We've got shoe prints along the tire tracks at the trailer site." He stated.

"And if they match, that puts Matt at the scene of three murders. The trailer, the hospital, and the rave." Stiles pointed out.

"Four. A credit card receipt for an oil change was signed by Matt at the garage where the mechanic was killed." The Sheriff stood up from his seat.

"When?" Scott asked him.

"A couple of hours before you there." Stilinski sighed, finally thinking his son and his friends were truly into something.

"All right, Stilinski. If one's an incident, twos a coincidence, and threes a pattern, what's four?" Blaze asked the same thing Stiles was thinking.

"Fours enough for a warrant." Stilinski said as Blaze and Stiles high-fived each other, " Scott, call your mom back, and see how fast she can get here. If I can get an official ID, I can get a search warrant. Stiles, Blaze, go to the front desk. Tell them to let Scott's mom in when she gets here."

"Wait, why do two of us have to do that?" Blaze asked in confusion.

"Because knowing my son, he'd end up doing something stupid. You're there to make sure he does not do that." Stilinski said as Stoles looked offended but left with Blaze.

They walked out but paused when they didn't see the officer that was there earlier making them confused, "Where did she go?" Blaze wondered.

"Hello?" Stiles called out as they walked closer to the desk, but froze when they saw her dead body covered in blood lying on the floor.

"Oh, my god," Blaze muttered as they turned around to warn the others when they were met with a gun facing at him, being held by Matt himself, making their hearts drop.

Matt forced Blaze and Matt back into his father's office (well old office since he was fired now) where they met with Stilinski and Scott who looked surprised at the sight.

"Matt? It's Matt, right? Matt, whatever going in, I guarantee you there's a solution that doesn't involve a gun." Stilinski tried to reason with him.

"You know, it's funny you say that because I don't think you're aware of just how right you are," Matt says as Scott places a hand on Blaze's arm, keeping him within arm's reach.

"I know you don't want to hurt people."

"I wanna hurt a lot of people. You three weren't on my list but I could be persuaded. And one way is to try dialing somebody on your cell phone like McCall is going," Matt said, making Scott quickly take his hand out of his pocket, cursing silently, "That could get someone hurt. Everyone. Now!"

"Come on," Noah told the boys who grabbed their phones and placed them on the desk.

Blaze thought he'd be more scared being held hostage with a gun, but knowing he could heal in ways humans couldn't seem to ease those fears, he stayed silent for people like Stiles and his father who was currently being handcuffed to the wall by Stiles thanks to Matt.

"Tighter." Matt scoffed, keeping his gun pointed at Stiles who looked hesitant.

"Do as he says, Stiles," Stilinski reassured his son who sighed and tightened the hand cuff around his father's wrist.

Matt shoved them out of the room and down the hall where Scott froze at the sight of the dead guards in the hallway, "What, are you gonna kill everyone in here?" He asked Matt.

"No, that's what Jackson's for." Matt smiled, "I just think about killing them and he does."

Getting back to the sheriff's office, Matt forced them to delete every piece of evidence they had against him, while he lounged in a chair as if he was on vacation.

"Deleted. And we're done. And, so, Matt, since all the people you brutally murdered deserved it because they killed you first, whatever that means.c we're good here, right? I'll just get my dad, and we'll go, you know, you continue the whole vengeance thing. Enjoy the Kanima." Stiles told him but they were cut off by a vehicle approaching the station.

"Sounds like your mom here, McCall," Matt told the boy who tensed.

"Matt, don't do this. When she comes to the door, I'll just tell her to leave. I'll tell her we didn't find anything. Please, Matt." Scott pleaded, terrified for his mother's safety.

"If you don't move.. now. I'm gonna kill Blaze and Stiles first, and then your mom." Matt threatened as they heard the door opening.

"Come on," Blaze muttered softly as he held Scott's arm and they began to walk towards the door with Matt following them.

"Open it," Matt told him as Scott hesitated.

"Please." Scott sighed.

"Matt, just let her leave," Blaze told the boy who glared at him.

"Open the door," Matt said sternly, making Scott close his eyes in defeat and slowly open the door to reveal Derek making him sigh in relief.

"Oh thank god." Scott's words fell short as Derek fell forward, revealing Jackson who had paralyzed him.

Matt crouched down beside Derek who was laying on his back, looking pissed off, "This is the one controlling him? This kid?"

"Well, Derek, not everyone is lucky enough to be a big, bad werewolf. Oh yeah, that's right. I learned a few things lately. Werewolves, hunters, Kanimas. It's like a frickin' Halloween party every full moon. Expect you, Stiles. What do you turn into?" Matt asked. Here comes another dumb remark that he's going to regret.

"Abominable snowman." There it is. "But, uh, it's more, like a wintertime thing, you know, seasonal."

"Hey!" Scott and Blaze yelled out as Jackson cut the back of Stiles before threatening them to make a move, leaving them to watch as Stiles fell on top of Derek with a "bitch."

"Get him off of me," Derek grumbled as Matt crouched down beside him again.

"Oh, I don't know, Derek. I think you two make a pretty good pair. Much better than those two." Matt laughed before he pointed at Blaze and Scott who avoided looking at each other, "It must kinda suck, though, to have all that power taken away from you with just a little cut to the back of the neck. I bet you're not used to feeling this helpless."

"Still got some teeth. Why don't you get down here a little closer, huh? We'll see how helpless I am." Derek threatened, making Blaze amused.

"Yeah, bitch." Stiles couldn't help but add before they heard another vehicle approaching, making Scott's heart drop as Blaze grabbed his hand out of instinct.

"Is that her?" Matt asked as he stood back up, "Do what I tell you to and I won't hurt her. I won't even let Jackson near her."

"Scott, don't trust him," Stiles called out, making Matt turn him over and press a foot to his chest, cutting off his oxygen supply.

"This works better for you?" Matt asked Scott.

"Hey, just stop. Stop!" Scott told him, wanting to move forward and help but was unable to.

"Then do what I tell you to," Matt said angrily.

"Okay. All right. Stop!" Scott snapped at Matt, who finally took a step away from Stiles.

"You, take him in there. You two... with me." Matt said before he forced Blaze and Scott out of the door where his mother was just walking in.

"Mom?" He called out, squeezing Blaze's hand as he tried to cool his nerves.

"You scared me, where is every-" Melissa's words got caught in her throat as she looked toward and saw the two boys standing there with a gun pointed at them.

"Mom, just do what he says. He promised he wouldn't hurt you." Scott stayed calm, trying not to freak his mother out more than she already was.

"He's right." Matt nodded as Blaze and Scott turned to him, only for Matt to shoot Scott and Blaze in the stomach, making Melissa yell and the boys fall, grabbing their wounds, "But I didn't say I wouldn't hurt you two."

"Wait, baby." Melissa tried to run to her son and Blaze but Matt stopped her.

"Back, back!" Matt yelled at her angrily.

"Mom! Mom, stop, Mom!" Scott says as Blaze presses into the wound harder but not too much, just enough to try and stop the blood flow.

"I said, get back." Matt glared at the woman who was terrified out of her mind.

"Scott."

"Melissa, do it." Blaze gave the woman a look who slowly took a step back.

"Please, Mom." Scott pleaded with her.

"Get up, McCall. Blaze." Matt told the boys.

"Matt. Matt, listen to me." Noah yelled out.

"Shut up! Shut up! Everybody shut the hell up!" Matt yelled angrily, showing everyone just how crazy he was.

"Now, get up, or I shoot her next!" Matt threatened as Scott and Blaze immediately stood to their foot before Matt forced them back into the jail cell and locked Melissa in the cell.

"Please, they need to see a doctor." Melissa pleaded with Matt, mascara running down her face from her tears.

"You think so?" Matt asked her.

"Hey, hey. You listen to me!" Noah stood up angrily.

"It's all right. We're okay." Scott reassured them.

"No, honey, you're not okay." Melissa shook her head.

"It doesn't hurt, Mom," Scott told her.

"Yeah, we're tougher than that." Blaze gave her a smile that did nothing to calm her down.

"Cause that's the adrenaline, okay? Please, let me.. let me take a look at them, okay? I mean, I can help stop the bleeding." Melissa tried to reason with Matt.

"They have no idea, do they?" Matt looked at Scott and Blaze who stayed silent.

"Please, just let me take a quick look." Melisa cried.

"Shut up, shut up. Shut up! Shut up! Lady, if you keep talking, I'm gonna put the next bullet through Scott's head." Matt threatened.

Blaze watched how Matt acted, he wasn't thinking reasonably, and he was looking out of his mind. The only real advantage he had was Jackson and the gun. Blaze could care less if Melissa and Noah found out about them if he had to keep watching Matt act like a crazy person and constantly threaten Scott, he was going to kill him himself.

"Back to the front, McCall. Blaze. After you." Matt told the hesitant boys. Blaze glared at Matt as he walked by, wishing he would call Scott anything but the name he called him by. It was bad enough Jackson tried to do it but now his stalker Matt.

Matt shoved Scott and Blaze back into the office where Jackson was watching over Stiles and Derek.

"The evidence is gone. Why don't you just go?" Scott told Matt.

"You think the evidence mattered that much, huh? No, no, I want the book." Matt shook his head.

"What fucking book?" Blaze asked in frustration.

"The bestiary." Matt told them, making them all confused, "Not just a few pages, I want the entire thing."

"We don't have it. It's Gerald's. What do you want it for, anyway?" Scott asked him.

"I need answers." Matt paced back and forth.

"Answers to what?" Blaze snapped at him.

"To this." Matt pulled up his shirt, revealing the scale-like skin in his rib rage. Exactly like a Kanima.

Matt brings Scott and Blaze into another room in the station and tells them to sit near the desk where he can see them.

Blaze winced as he looked down at the wound that had yet to heal, "You know, I feel sorry for you both, 'cause right now, you're thinking, "How am I going to explain this when it heals?" And the sad part is, you don't even realize how incredible it is that you are healing. Do you know what happened to everyone else when they got shot? They die."

"You know being a werewolf isn't all cupcakes and rainbows. We face death more than actual humans; I mean I was supposed to die multiple times, but you did, didn't you? You drowned?" Blaze asked him.

"He shouldn't have let them drink." Matt leaned against the desk across from them looking ahead.

"What? Who? Matt, what do you mean?" Scott asked him in confusion.

"Lahey! He shouldn't have let them drink." Matt snapped.

"What? Who was drinking?" Scott asked him.

"The swim team, you idiot!" Matt yelled at Scott, "I didn't know what was happening. I didn't know they had just one state, and Lahey, he's letting his favourites come over to have a couple of drinks to celebrate. Who cares if they're 17, right?" Matt scoffed.

"Were you at Isaac's?" Blaze asked him.

"He had this first edition, Spider-man, or was it, Batman? And we were going to make a trade. But then I'm over there and I hear music, and everyone's having a good time, and I see Sean. He throws Jessica in the pool and then Bennett goes in andโ€”" Matt was cut off by Scott who seemed surprised by the name.

"Bennett? What... the hunter?" Scott questioned.

Matt nodded as he looked angry at the reminder of what happened to him, "Then Camden. Isaac's jarhead brother grabs me. He thinks it's funny."

"They threw you in." Blaze guessed. He wanted to feel bad for him, and he understood why he wanted them dead, and he didn't exactly feel bad for them being murdered but Matt had done a lot more than just get revenge on those who wronged him.

"I yelled that I couldn't swim, but nobody listened. I go under and I swallow water, and no one cares, and I see these bodies underwater. I see Jessica got her hands down Sean's board shorts. Tuckers grabbing Kara and I'm drowning. I'm dying, and they're laughing. All of a sudden, I was just... I'm lying by the pool, and Lahey is right there, right above me, and he says.." Matt walked over to the boys.

"He said, "You tell no one" "This.. this is your fault!' "What little bastard doesn't know how to swim?" And I didn't. I didn't tell anyone. And I would see them at school and they wouldn't even look at me. I'd wake up in the middle of the night. I'd gasp for breath, and my parents thought I was asthmatic. They even gave me an inhaler. They didn't even know that every time I closed my eyes, I... I was drowning." Matt said with tears in his eyes.

Blaze looked away from the emotional boy knowing he spent so many nights with nightmares, having panicked attacks all alone in the dark and the image of Ryle in that hospital every time he closed his eyes. He loathed the fact that he could understand some of Matt's pain and it made him wish his pain was gone so he didn't have to share that.

"You know about that little white light that they talk about; you see when you die? Well, I didn't see anything. Just... darkness. Everything was dark. But then... then came the Argents funeral, and everything changed. I was taking some photos then, purely by accident. Lahey gets in one of the photos. I look down at the screen in my camera and I just have this unbelievable rage that fills up inside of me, and I just. I look at him, and I wanna see him dead. And the next day, he was." Matt looked over at them.

"You know, Einstein was right. Imagination is more important than knowledge. It was like something out of Greek mythology. Like the furies coming down to punish Orestes." Matt said as Blaze and Scott looked confused, "You have no idea what I'm talking about, do you?"

"Was he the guy who stabbed out his eyes?" Scott asked as Blaze made a face.

"Huh, I was thinking about those people who dress up as animals. You know those weirdos?" Blaze frowned but all their words did was piss Matt off.

"God, that's Opedipus, you dumbass!" Matt yelled as he got in Scott's face, making Blaze put an arm in front of him, pissing Matt off more, "And those are furries, you bigger dumbass. You are way too stupid for your looks. You should be lucky, I like you."

"The Furies are deities of vengeance. Their tears ran of blood, and they had snakes for hair. If there was a crime that had gone unpunished, the Furies would do the punishing. Jackson is my Fury." Matt said turning around and looking at Jackson who was looking at them,

"And when I saw him the next night... it was like a bond had been cemented between the two of us. I knew he had killed Lahey for me, and I knew he would do it again. So, I went to Tucker's garage. I even paid for an oil change, and guess what? He didn't even recognize me. So, when he wasn't looking, I took a shot of him with my camera, and in a few hours, he was dead. So I took more pictures. All I had to do was take their picture... and Jackson would take their life."

"Is that why you took my picture? Did you want me dead because you seem to have awfully a lot of pictures of me?" Blaze spoke up, wanting to know why Matt had such an obsession with him.

"Want you dead? Of course, I don't want you dead. Do I want you to open your eyes and realize just how much I truly care about you? Yes. Those pictures were the perfect images like I told you." Matt chuckled as he stepped closer to Blaze.

"You were stalking him." Scott glared at Matt who seemed annoyed by his presence.

"Maybe if he wasn't so obsessed with Ryle, he would've seen me taking those pictures. But no, it was always Ryle. You know, I remember when you said you didn't date. That it wasn't something you ever wanted to do. That hurt, Blaze. But it hurt more when you turned around and started to date Ryle." Matt said angrily as Blaze eyed him, wishing he'd stop saying his name.

"Seeing you two look so happy, walking down the halls holding hands, sitting in the cafeteria, being all lovey-dovey in the library. You guys were everywhere, I went and it pissed me off." Matt snapped in his face, "Then Ryle died and I thought, maybe I'd finally have my chance."

Blaze glared at him in disgust and wanted nothing more than to knock the shit out of him but was stopped by Scott grabbing his elbow.

"I was so glad Ryle was out of the picture, but you!" Matt yelled as his head snapped towards Scott who looked confused, "You were still there. You were always there with him and he never batted an eye at me or anyone else. I mean, we went on a date and not even 10 minutes in the club and he was running off to you!"

"Matt, Scott had nothing to do with your feelings towards me." Blaze stepped closer to Scott as he tried to keep Matt away from him who was growing angrier by the second.

Matt looked at Blaze before he looked at Scott who gulped awkwardly before he chuckled, "You don't know do you?" He asked Blaze who looked confused.

"Know what?"

"You want to tell him?" Matt asked Scott who tried to play it off as confusion but Blaze could hear how fast his heart was beating and grew more confused.

"Matt-" Scott tried to say.

"You want to tell him why you are always there! Why you're always taking him from me!" Matt screamed at Scott who avoided looking at Blaze.

"This doesn't even matter-" Blaze scoffed, seeing how uncomfortable Scott was, and didn't want to force him to say anything he wasn't ready to tell him.

"It had everything to do with us! I always thought I could never match up with Ryle. Nothing I could do was very good enough but now I see it. I will never match up with Scott who will never match up as Ryle." Matt scoffed as he stared Scott dead in the eye.

Why would Scott have to match up with Ryle? Blaze wondered silently.

"But Ryle, Ryle knew he could never match up with Scott either, and that's why he broke up with you because no matter how much he loved you, he could never love you in the way Scott did." Matt's words made Scott close his eyes and Blaze furrow his eyebrows.

"What?" Blaze chuckled in confusion, as he looked over at Scott who avoided his eyes, making him frown.

"I saw him at the night of the formal. He was by the drinks, watching as you two danced together. You looked so happy, so perfect." Matt spat out the last word in disgust, "We both saw you and we both knew we could never compare."

Blaze couldn't believe what he was hearing coming from Matt's mouth. Was this what Ryle was talking about? Is this what Jackson meant as well?

"Scott, you were forever the kind one, the sweet one. You saw how happy Blaze was, so you never said anything. You broke it off with Allison and buried those feelings deep down so he could be happy but I couldn't, It was too damn hard losing him to Ryle and then you. I had to do something." Matt paced back and forth, swinging the gun around as he did so.

"You drugged me. At the club." Blaze stated as Matt sighed.

"I didn't want to. But after Jackson started killing people for me, I knew he could help me get you. You were at that party, dancing the night away, trying to bury your sorrows about your idiot ex-boyfriend. You were so upset and I couldn't, I couldn't handle seeing you in such pain so I figured I would give you something that would help. Wolfsbane. We ended up having such a good time, I thought, I finally got him, we can finally be happy. You were all over me." Matt smiled at the reminder of that night as Blaze felt disgusted by his words.

"I took you to the bathroom so we could be alone, and it was going so well. I was finally understanding why everyone loved you so much." Matt stepped closer to Blaze who took a step back, "But then you said something. A name. Ryle." He gritted out.

"He was hallucinating." Scott figured it out.

"He didn't even know it was me. He thought he was dancing with Ryle all night, being touched by Ryle. He started to come back from the hallucinations but I was already too angry by then. I slammed you up against the wall when you tried to leave. I just wanted to be with you but you were being so difficult." Matt shook his head.

"Then that bitch from the club showed up and I knew I had to leave before I was caught. I drugged you with opioids just enough to cause you to overdose but not enough to kill you. I never wanted to hurt you, Blaze. By the time you woke up the next morning, you couldn't remember anything and I knew I could forget as well and we could move on and be happy but when I came to visit you at the hospital. Guess who was already there?" Matt glared at Scott.

Blaze didn't know what to say to everything that he'd heard in the last hour. This entire night had been terrible, and he couldn't even comprehend anything happening right now.

Scott was about to say something when all the lights shut off and the alarms started to glare, making Matt jump up from the desk, "What is this? What's happening? What's going on?"

"I don't know." Scott and Blaze shook their heads in confusion when beaming lights flashed into the room, making them turn towards the windows where two hunters were standing outside with guns which they begin firing. The windows smashed making Blaze grab Scott and push him to the ground.

"Stay down!" Blaze yelled as he covered Scott's body with his own. He had no idea where Matt went and he didn't care. All he cared about was making it out of there alive.

They stayed close to one of the desks before a smoke bomb was thrown inside and went off, filling the large room with a large smoke that made it difficult to see.

"We gotta get out of here." Scott turned his head to look at Blaze who looked down at him and nodded. Taking their chances, Blaze and Scott got up and ran towards the exit where they saw Jackson standing looking at the smoke-filled room. Scott knocked him down before they ran to the back where Stiles and Derek were still paralyzed.

"Take him. Go!" Derek yelled being healed enough to move. Scott and Blaze didn't hesitate to grab Stiles and run down the hall trying to ignore Jackson who was following them.

They walked into a room, pausing for a moment to allow Scott to shut and lock the door before they kept moving into the next room and locked that door as well, making it just in time to avoid Jackson who had kicked down the previous door.

"Come on," Blaze said as they quickly walked into the next room and shut the door. Thankfully this door was metal which would make it harder for Jackson to try and break into.

Scott and Blaze set Stiles down on one of the chairs, "Don't move." Scott told him, as Blaze and Stiles gave him a deadpan look making Scott sigh, "You know what I mean."

Scott went to leave when he paused and turned around to face Blaze, "You should stay here." Scott said as Blaze looked at him in disbelief, "Someone should stay here with Stiles and you haven't exactly mastered control yet."

"Aren't you the one who says I always run from my problems? Well, guess what McCall? This is my problem and Stiles can take care of himself. He's smarter than you so someone should stick with your dumbass." Blaze rolled his eyes.

"Thanks, Blaze." Stiles smiled at Blaze before it dropped, "You're both werewolves and both of our parents are human, Scott. They need you both. Blaze will be fine. Go!"

"Thanks, Stiles," Blaze repeated back to Stiles with a cheeky grin, making Scott sigh in amusement before remembering that it wanted the time to be joking around grabbed Blaze's hand and pulled him out of the door, and ran down the hall where they ran into Allison who was holding a crossbow at them.

"Woah. Allison?" Scott questioned in a hushed tone.

"Where's Derek?" Allison asked him, not being in the mood for questions.

"What are you doing?" Scott asked her.

"If you're not going to tell me, then get out of my way," Allison said sternly. Blaze had no idea what had happened and to be honest he didn't care if Derek lived or not.

"We have more things to worry about than Derek. We don't know where he went. Scott, let's go." Blaze said as he went to walk past Allison but Scott seemed to be hesitant about leaving.

"Allison-"

"Where is he?" Allison moved the crossbow so it wasn't pointing at Scott.

"What happened?" Scott continued to question her, making Blaze annoyed. He didn't care what Allison was doing. That was her business, and it didn't have anything to do with them, so they had no reason to know. He assumed it was what happened with Derek biting her mom, so he wasn't surprised that she seemed to be vengeful. She had every right to be in Blaze's eyes. That was her mother after all. No matter how big of a scary bitch she was.

Blaze got annoyed with the stalling around which is why he decided to leave them to themselves. It probably wasn't the best idea but he could hear fighting happening and with them only having Derek on their side who the hunters seem to be going after, they were pretty much fucked with help.

He ran into the room and saw a fully transformed Jackson throwing Derek across the room, The Sheriff passed out on the ground and Melissa was still in the jail cell watching everything go down.

Jackson turned to Blaze sensing his arrival and tried to attack him when Blaze ducked out of the way and pushed him up against the wall โ€” eyes turning yellow in the process. It didn't seem to affect Jackson at all, as he hissed and tried to attack Blaze again.

Jackson went to hit Blaze, who caught his fist, growling as he kicked Jackson away from him again. Jackson seemed to get angrier by the second which made Blaze smirk, finally enjoying just how much being a werewolf could be. The thought of having such powers as Matt had mentioned made him feel cockier than he usually did.

He had a gift that not everyone had and he decided it was time to fully put it to use. Letting out a roar, Blaze used all of his strength to fight Jackson off. He had no idea what happened to Derek and what was happening to Melissa and Noah but he kept his focus on the kanima in front of him who managed to get the upper hand by throwing him across the room, making him hit the wall.

Shaking off the pain, he looked up to see Scott had finally arrived, fighting Jackson before the same thing happened to him but Scott managed to land on his feet. Jackson ran out of the room making Blaze and Derek jump up and follow after him, not wanting to let him get away and hurt more innocent people.

Running outside, they looked around, but no Kanima was in sight making Blaze curse under his breath, "Fuck."

Derek panted as he glanced over at Blaze, "Seems you didn't need my help after all. It took Peter forever to try and teach me. How are you doing it?"

Blaze glanced over at him before he rolled his eyes with a slight, "First mistake is letting Peter help you with anything."
