BLAZE GOT OUT OF HIS CAR, yawning as he fixed his black denim jacket before walking up the steps to the school where he saw Stiles and Scott already talking.

"Yo Scotty, get home alright last night?" Blaze asked feeling a bit bad for leaving him there alone.

"He thinks he got bit by a wolf but as I was just telling him, California wasn't had any wolves in like 60 years," Stiles exclaimed as Blaze furrowed his eyebrows.

"You got what? Let me see." Blaze demanded as Scott pulled his shirt up again to show him the bandage that was bleeding through making Blaze grimace.

"You should let your mom check that out, it might get infected or something especially when it's bleeding like that," Blaze said in slight concern that made Scott nod,

"Yeah, but then I get to tell her that I snuck out and I hate disappointing her but about the wolves. Seriously?" Scott said changing the subject as he turned to Stiles.

"Yes, really. There are no wolves in California." Stiles nodded.

"All right. Well, if you don't believe me about the wolf, then you're definitely not gonna believe me when I tell you I found the body." Scott said gaining both of the boy's attention.

"Wait what?"

"You-- are you kidding me?"

"No, man, I wish. I'm gonna have nightmares for a month." Scott nodded with a slight laugh as Stiles grew more excited by the minute making Blaze wonder why he hung around them. Something he wondered about daily.

"Oh, god, that is freakin' awesome. I mean, this is seriously gonna be the best thing that's happened to this town since--" Stiles loses his train of thought when he sees Lydia Martin, Queen Bee of Beacon Hills High School, walking up the stairs toward the school and abandons his train of thought in favor of trying to catch her attention, "--Since the birth of Lydia Martin. Hey, Lydia! You look--"

"Blaze, hey!" Lydia greeted him with a soft smile as she linked arms with the familiar boy and pulled him along, engaging in a conversation with him.

"--Like you're gonna ignore me... screw you, Blaze!" Stiles called after making Blaze shoot him a smirk loving the amusement that came from Stiles wanting Lydia's attention. He admired the determination Stiles put into his crush for the redhead and he secretly hoped the pair would make it out in the end as it would make a good story.

"By the way, the best thing in this town is me and anything I do!" Blaze yelled back to him boasting his ego like usual as Scott chuckled.

"You're the cause of this, you know. Why are we even friends with him?" Stiles asked Scott with an irritated expression.

"Uh-huh and because he's fun to be around." Scott shrugged not being able to stop the smile that formed on his face while thinking about the older boy.

"Draggin' me down to your nerd depths. I'm a nerd by association. I've been Scarlet-needed by you." Stiles said ignoring the smile that grew on his best friend's face at the thought of Blaze.

Blaze walked into his first-period class which was English with Mr. Curtis along with Stiles and Scott, the latter sitting beside him.

"As you all know, there indeed was a body found in the woods last night." Mr. Curtis said without explanation as Blaze and Scott grinned at Stiles who winks at them knowingly.

"And I am sure your eager little minds are coming up with various macabre scenarios as to what happened. But I am here to tell you that the police have a suspect in custody, which means you can give your undivided attention to the syllabus, which is on your desk outlining this semester." The teacher's words fall deaf to Blaze's ears as he noticed Scott starting to look around as if he were looking for someone or something.

He quietly watched the boy, who glanced out the window making him turn his head to see a brunette sitting on one of the school benches digging in her bag while she was on the phone.

"Scott." Blaze whispered snapping the boy out of his staring as he glanced at Blaze with an unreadable expression, "At least wait until you see her face to actually gawk and stare at her."

Scott didn't say anything as he cracked a smile but turned back to look out the window making Blaze roll his eyes and text one of his friends to pass the time. His head snaps up at the sound of the door opening making him close his phone as the vice principal walked into the class along with the brunette who he had seen outside.

"Class, this is our new student, Allison Argent. Please do your best to make her feel welcome." The vice principal said making the new girl smile weakly as Blaze grimace feeling her nerves from across the room.

Allison walked over to the only open seat in the room which was behind Scott and beside Stiles who sent her an awkward smile. Suddenly, Scott turned around and handed her a pen making her smile gratefully before he turned back around, leaving a confused Blaze and Allison, both wondering how he knew she needed a pen.

After class ended, Blaze met up with Ryle in the locker room as most of the boys got ready for practice. The pair were standing beside the lockers, both shirtless as they talked away from everyone else.

"Are you going to Lydia's party on Friday?" Ryle asked him with a slight grin that made Blaze chuckle.

"Why? You wanna go together?" Blaze asked him, glancing down at his lips before looking back at his brown eyes. Ryle was one of the hottest boys in Beacon Hills, even a straight man couldn't deny thatโ€”with his chocolate brown hair, perfect skin, and a smile that makes everyone weak in the knees, it was hard to resist such a person.

"I'd love to, thanks for asking," Ryle said in a playful tone that made Blaze laugh in amusement as he shook his head before grabbing his lacrosse stick, trailing his hand across Ryle's arm just to be a tease.

"Alright you horny bastards, take it on somewhere else, preferably not in the open where all of us straight men can see that." Another boy on the team teased making the boys chuckle.

"Don't play with me Carson, you just don't want to see us get it on because then you won't be one of those straight men anymore. If you ever want a taste, just let me know." Blaze winked playfully as the team all laughed loudly and the boy flushed.

"Fuck you, Anderson." The boy rolled his eyes as he tied his shoelaces.

"Is that the taste you want? I prefer being top, but I don't mind. Not for you at least." Blaze continues to tease the boy who was turned red as a tomato.

"Okay, I'm leaving!" The boy laughed grabbing his gear as he walked towards the boy.

"Gotta wank away from all of us straight men." Another boy called out making the team laugh even more as the boy tossed him the finger.

"Go bother Greenburg, assholes." He yelled back as he left the locker room.

"Alright enough teasing the poor kid," Ryle told them with a slight grin of his own as he grabbed his gear.

"Alright let's go practice, where I'll kick all of your asses," Blaze said feeling confident and energized as he throws on his shirt and gear before following the boys out into the field.

โ”โ”โ”

The lacrosse team has gathered on the lacrosse field, where the players are warming up by passing the ball back and forth as other students congregate in the bleachers to watch the team play.

"Come on, just make him look a little bad so I don't have to sit on the bench alone." Blaze sighed as Stiles made his plea.

"Or maybe you could practice like he's been doing and then you both can play? Why even join the team if you know you're going to be playing on the bench?" Blaze laughed slightly.

"That's changing the subject, c'mon Blaze you're the best player on the team even better than Jackson who for some reason is the team captain but besides the point. Are you going to do that to your best friend?" Stiles rambled.

"I'm one of your best friends, you're my friend, which puts you on the lower rank, so no, if Scott's good then he's good, you should be happy," Blaze smirked as he patted Stiles on the cheek before walking away feeling the boy's glare on his back.

"Let's go! Come on!" Coach yelled as Blaze saw Scott walking towards the goalie net making him smirk knowing Coach was doing that on purpose, so Blaze decided to take it easy on him.

Blaze stands in line as he glanced at the bleachers where he saw Lydia and the new girl, Allison sitting togetherโ€”Lydia caught his gaze and waved at him, making him wave back with a smile.

"Who is that? He's also in my English Class." Allison asked seeing the attractive boy waving at the redhead. She thought the boy was hot, not enough for her to want to date him but she could admit he was a sight for sore eyes.

"That would be Blaze Anderson, super popular, almost everyone knows him much like me, best lacrosse player besides Jackson, and before you get any ideas, prefers men and don't tell him I said this but currently has eyes for Ryle Thorn, number 16, although he won't admit it," Lydia smirked as he bragged about her best friend.

The pair had met in middle school and had been close friends ever since, Lydia had helped Blaze with his sexuality and helped him accept himself for who he was instead of hiding. She was the first to know about his first kiss with a guy and the person to comfort him when his family called him a disgrace for being a homosexual. Needless to say, Lydia hated his parents and wished nothing more than to stab them in the eyes with her manicured nails, but she held back not wanting to ruin them.

"What a shame, the gay ones are always the 'too good to even be real.' looking ones." Allison sighed dramatically as Lydia nodded and laughed both not realizing that a certain newly turned werewolf had had them and grew annoyed at their words while trying to fight off the ringing in his ears, this makes him a prime target for Jackson, who takes a shot at the goal while Scott is still recovering. The ball hits him right in front of his helmet with so much force that he's knocked backward onto the ground.

Coach Finstock, Jackson, and the rest of the team members immediately start laughing and making fun of him while Blaze couldn't help but roll his eyes. He may have been an ass to everyone, but he couldn't help but feel bad for the boy who so desperately wanted to prove themselves. In a way, Scott reminded Blaze of himself, just a young kid who wanted to prove to be worthy of something, something he so desperately tried to do with his parents while growing up.

He never understood why his parents were so hard asses or why they felt the need to even have a child when it's clear they didn't know how to parent but he learned to ignore them and just go on with his life.

"Hey, way to catch with your face, McCall!" Jackson laughed as Blaze saw Scott shake it off and stand to his feet looking more ready than the first time. The next player tosses the ball towards him, and Scott catches it easily, to the point where Blaze's eyes widen in surprise as everyone else's shares the same expression.

"Yeah!!!" Blaze heard Stiles cheer happily making him laugh as he sent Scott a thumbs up who looked overjoyed.

The second, third, fourth, and fifth shots are caught by Scott just as easily, and Coach Finstock simply stares at Scott with his mouth open as though he can't believe what he's seeing.

"Okay then..." Blaze nodded as it was his turn to take a shot, and as he was the best player on the team, he had genuine doubts that he was about to make it as Scott seems to be proving himself to be amazing.

Blaze runs as fast as he can toward the goal before tossing the ball with so much force everyone held their breath wondering if he would make the shot but much to everyone's shock, Scott caught it without hesitation, making everyone Lydia and Stiles jump to their feet and cheer while Blaze pants before laughing and running over to him.

"You meant it when you said you were going to be stealing my spot, McCall that was amazing." Blaze complimented the boy as he fist-bumped him making Scott laugh still in disbelief at what just happened.

โ”โ”โ”

Scott, Blaze, and Stiles have just crossed the creek in the nature preserve as they attempt to find both the top half of the body Scott found the night before as well as the inhaler he dropped in the process. The three are talking about the day's practice as their feet get wet in the water.

"I-I don't know what it was. It was like I had all the time in the world to catch the ball. And that's not the only weird thing. I-I can hear stuff I shouldn't be able to hear. Smell things." Scott explained as Stiles and Blaze listened to him.

"Smell things? Like what?" Stiles asked him as they stop to face each other.

"Like the mint mojito gum in your pocket and Blaze's Sauvage Dior cologne," Scott said as both boys make a face at him.

"How do you even know the specific name?" Blaze said more to himself as Stiles started to dig in his pockets.

"I don't even have any mint mojito--" He checked the inside of his pocket before pulling out a folded-up piece of gum, "Whatever and that's Blaze's signature cologne, even I can smell it."

"So, all this started with the bite?" Blaze asked changing the subject as they started to walk again.

"What if it's like an infection? Like, my body's flooding with adrenaline before I go into shock or something?" Scott rambled being the nurse's son he was.

A smirk appeared on Stiles's face as he and Blaze walked behind the McCall boy who didn't see it, but Blaze did and already knew he was about to mess with him.

"You know what? I think I've heard of this-- it's a specific kind of infection." Stiles said making Scott look at him with wide eyes.

"Are you serious?"

"Yeah. Yeah, I think it's called lycanthropy." Stiles nodded making Blaze snort but hid it with a cough as he decided to let Stiles mess with him some more.

"What's that? Is that bad?" Scott asked as sorry began to fill his body.

"Oh, yeah, it's the worst. But only once a month." Stiles told him.

"Yeah, sort of like a girl's period, you go all crazy but for this, it only happens on a full moon." Blaze decided to join.

"Arooooo!" Stiles's fake howled as Scott scowled and shoved the both of them annoyed and making them laugh.

"Hey, you're the one who heard a wolf howling!" Stiles through his hands up as Scott started to walk away making the pair follow him.

"Hey, there could be something seriously wrong with me!" Scott told them sternly making Blaze sigh seeing how scared he seemed about this whole thing.

"I know! You're a Werewolf! Rawrrr!"

"Okay Stiles, joke it over." Blaze sighed already tired of hearing it, all he wanted to do was go home and take a nap but once again but stuck being dragged out into the woods to find a dead body.

"Okay, obviously I'm kidding. But, if you see me in shop class trying to melt all the silver I can find, it's 'cause Friday's a full moon." Stiles said raising an eyebrow at him.

Scott stops walking and looks around, frowning when he doesn't see anything remarkable where they're standing. "No, I-I could have sworn this was it. I saw the body; the deer came running. I dropped my inhaler..."

"Maybe the killer moved the body? Or maybe you hallucinated it because of the bite, definitely infected." Blaze shrugged as Scott rolled his eyes.

"I know what I saw and if he did take it, I hope he left my inhaler. Those things are, like, eighty bucks." Scott grumbled as the three of them start looking around the ground not seeing the man that suddenly appeared in front of them.

"What are you doing here?" He snapped making their heads snap up in surprise ad they saw a man not much older than them wearing a black leather jacket and a scowl on his face.

Blaze was too busy looking the man up and down, deciding that he was a very attractive man, and couldn't help but smirk but it disappeared when the man spoke again, "Huh? This is private property."

"Uh, sorry, man, we didn't know," Stiles spoke up as Scott and Blaze shared a look.

"Yeah, we were just looking for something, but..." Scott trailed off seeing the glare Derek was sending him making Blaze step forward, standing close to the boys.

"It doesn't matter sunshine," Blaze said with a fake smile as Derek glared at him harder which made his smile turn more real.

Suddenly, Derek tosses Scott's inhaler at him before turning and heading back the way he came without a word, giving Scott one last look and seemingly paying Stiles and Blaze no attention whatsoever. Scott sighs and gets ready to turn back in the opposite direction, "Um... All right, come on, I gotta get to work."

"Dude, that was Derek Hale!" Stiles exclaimed with wide eyes as he stopped the pair from moving.

"Wait, Hale? That was the Derek Hale, fucking hot and a past with trauma, that's my book boyfriend and I don't even read or date. I just know the sex is good." Blaze smirked as Scott and Stiles grimaced and decided to ignore his words.

"You remember, right? He's only like, a few years older than us." Stiles told Scott who looked like a lost puppy not understanding what their talking about.

"Remember what?"

"His family. They all burned to death in a fire, like, ten years ago." Stiles exclaimed to him as Blaze nodded.

"Yeah, I heard there were only three survivors. None of them have been in Beacon Hills for years though." Blaze added.

"I wonder what he's doing back..." Scott muttered with a confused expression dancing on his face.

"Come on." Stiles scoffed not even wanting to think about it before they all turned around and made their way back to their cars.

Lydia and Blaze will have such amazing relationship. I kind of want him to beat up Jackson in act 2, because I hate him that much and Lydia deserved better.

My baby Ryle >3 I love him so much and he will be the love interest for Blaze and I'm so excited to write them. Let's just say... Ryle deserves better.

Thank you so much for reading and I love you all!!
