ELEVEN, i don't want to see you get hurt
"YOU'RE WHAT?!" Christopher Sturniolo squealed excitedly as Matt and Morgan had sat him and Nicolas down to tell them something.
"They're dating, Chris," Nick smartly replied, earning a fist to his shoulder.
Morgan and Matthew shared a look at how clearly excited Chris was for them but were confused as to why Nick was hiding his excitement.
"Chris let's go get some drinks, yeah?" Morgan offered, hoping Matt could talk to Nick.
"Fine," Chris huffed.
As the pair walked off to the kitchen, Matt flicked Nick's knee which made the older triplet snap out of his daze and stare at his brother.
"What's got your panties in a twist?" Matt laughed softly.
"Doesn't matter," Nick shrugged, playing with the ring he stole from Chris.
Matt frowned, Nick was never one to get upset when Matt ever talked about Morgan. Normally, he was tackling his brother to the ground in a hug.
"Nick, seriously."
Nicolas rolled his eyes, he knew he was slightly overreacting but he also knew he could trust his brother with anything.
"I just don't want to see you getting hurt, hell, I don't want to see Moe getting hurt either," Nick admitted, fiddling with the string from his ripped jeans.
"You're my best friend and my brother and she's my best friend as basically my little sister, by a little bit. I just don't want something big to happen and then have Morgan never talk to us ever again because of that."
Matt knit his eyebrows together, pulling together his words. He glanced up at Nick who looked guilty for saying what he had.
"I understand that Nick, and I'm glad you talked to me about it, but you have to know Morgan would probably do anything for you. If something does happen between us you and Chris will be the first to know and I know that you two will figure out a way for us to all be best friends again. I mean, you did that last night and now look at Moe and me."
Nick nodded at his brother, embracing him tightly. Matt chuckled and hugged the boy back.
"Pepsi, Pepsi," Chris sang, tossing a can of Pepsi to Matthew while Morgan chucked a can of Arizona Iced Tea to Nick and kept one for herself.
"Moe, come sit," Nick beamed, patting the spot on the couch next to him. Which was also an unspoken invitation for the family dog, Trevor, to hop up next to Nicolas.
Morgan scoffed sarcastically at the dog before laughing and sitting on the other side of Nick where Chris was about to sit.
"Hey!"
"You snooze you lose, Christopher," Morgan blew him a kiss, watching the boy trudge around to the other side of the couch, next to Trevor.
"You stink, Trev," he fake gagged before hugging the dog beside him.
Matt turned on the TV and started scrolling through movies on Netflix. Morgan and Nick chat amongst themselves while also calling out 'maybe' and 'no' every once in a while when Matthew stopped on a particular movie.
"Let's watch Mamma Mia!" Morgan grinned, knowing very well the triplets wouldn't want to.
"No. Next," Chris spoke in a bored tone, a small laugh coming out of his mouth at how mean he sounded.
"Aw, come on, Topher," Morgan joked, using the nickname she had created four years ago at three in the morning.
Matt nearly spat out his Pepsi at the old nickname, his reaction making Nick almost do the same. Nick and Matt quickly swallowed their drinks and laughed obnoxiously.
"You— you— Topher!" Nick sputtered, pointing a finger at Chris and laughing loudly while squirming on the floor.
The stuttering boy only made Matthew laugh harder as he slammed his fists on the couch, rocking back and forward in laughter.
Morgan and Chris watched in amusement from the sofa, glancing at each other and quickly looking away so they didn't lose it either.
"It's just a nickname, stop laughing," Chris giggled at his brothers who were still silently laughing, their mouths open in wide grins as they struggled to breathe.
Morgan let out a laugh at Nick's panicky face but also sat beside the boy to help him catch his breath. She instructed the boy on how to breathe before he finally calmed down.
Nick chuckled lightly at himself before hopping back on the sofa, Morgan mirroring his actions.
The quartet lazed on the sofa for the rest of the evening, rewatching one of their favorite shows, that Morgan had introduced the triplets to, Gilmore Girls.
"I'd risk it all for Tristan," Morgan whispered to Nick as they watched the familiar rich, blonde boy glare at Rory Gilmore's current boyfriend Dean.
"Mhm," Nick carelessly agreed, keeping his eyes glued to the screen while stuffing his mouth with the popcorn Marylou had made earlier for the four of them.
Matt glanced over at his girlfriend, his eyes filled with adoration while he watched the small smile on her face as the television lights brightened the room.
There was a knock on the door which had Chris on his feet in a second, the boy's eyes lit up as he bolted towards the door. He had been waiting for the pizza to arrive since forty minutes ago.
"Moe, come sit with me," Matt held out his arms, watching as the brown-eyed girl got up and lazily walked over to sit beside him.
Morgan lay her head on his shoulder and watched the TV, leaning forward for a slice of pizza when Chris opened the two square boxes.
"Yes," Morgan whispered to Matt out of context.
The boy glanced down at her in confusion. Looking over to Chris and Nick who seemed to find a way to start a quiet argument over a slice of pizza.
"I realized I never said 'yes' to being your girlfriend yesterday, I only kissed you, which technically was me saying yes but I just wanted to fully clarify it," she smiled.
"You're an angel, did you know that?" Matt smiled down at her.
"To be entirely honest, no, I never knew that."
Matt chuckled, pushing some of the girl's hair behind her ear before turning back to the show.
Morgan couldn't seem to take her eyes off of him. She watched as he scrunched his nose when he laughed a little, how he rubbed under his eye every few minutes, even how he blinked softly.
"It's rude to stare," Matthew pressed his lips into a thin line, looking over at Morgan.
"You have ketchup on your cheek, don't flatter yourself," Morgan lied, pretending to wipe something off of the boy's cheek.
Chris rolled his eyes at the interaction, whispering 'liar' to Morgan and turning back toward the TV screen with a small smile playing on his lips.
The four teenagers had finished season one for the fourth time and were ready to go to sleep. It was one in the morning and their sleepover the night before had tired them out.
"Should we film?" Matt suggested, swinging the keys around his finger.
"I'm tired," Nick complained, zombie-walking to Morgan and wrapping his arms loosely around her neck as he stood there hugging her.
Morgan hugged the boy back, a sudden burst of energy radiating through her body from all the M&M's she and Nick had munched on.
"Let's do it! We can get some coffee or food from McDonald's," she suggested to Nicolas.
"Fine."
Matt cheered silently, ushering Chris out of the front door before locking it. As they made their way to the van in the cold, Nick quickly posted a QnA tab on the triplet's joint Instagram account.
"Who the hell would be awake right now?" Chris furrowed his eyebrows.
"In case you've forgotten, you have fans around the world. There are also kids like us who stay up late," Morgan answered the boy. "There are people who watch you in New Zealand and it's like six at night for them."
Chris chuckled at the girl's quick math and how she still always chose New Zealand as her example country.
The drive to the familiar car park was quick at one in the morning, the wet, black roads glimmered in the moonlight and streetlights. Morgan and Christopher's joint playlist was quietly playing through the speakers as the four moved their heads to the lyrics.
"Hello and welcome back or welcome to our YouTube channel! I'm Matt, that's Chris, that's Nick and this is our special guest Morgan March!" Matt quickly introduced the quartet to the camera.
"Hi!" Nick and Morgan called from the back where they were aggressively mixing their Oreo McFlurrys.
"Today we're doing a QnA, I asked for questions on our group story—"
"—at sturniolo dot triplets!" Morgan fake coughed, promoting her best friends' Instagram for them.
"Yes. Anyway, as I was saying, we're going to be answering your questions tonight!" Nick exclaimed excitedly, opening up his phone to view the questions people had asked.
"Let's go!" Chris cheered with a laugh, biting a fry that Morgan dangled in front of his face.
Nicolas scrolled through the questions, letting out a questionable laugh randomly. Matt, Morgan and Chris all shared a look together before yelling at Nick to hurry up.
"How did you guys meet Morgan?"
Morgan let out a small laugh as she, somehow, remembered almost exactly how she had met the three brothers.
"We'll let Moe tell this story," Matt smiled softly, watching how excited the girl was.
"Okay!" she beamed. "I'm pretty sure we were, what, three?" Morgan began, waiting for the boys' nods of approval which she received in return.
"I always knew my neighbors were boys so let's keep this in mind," she quickly said. "So, one day three-year-old me decides to go adventure around the neighborhood. My uncle, Teddy, is outside talking to this gorgeous, sweet lady, so off little Moe goes to interrupt the 'adult conversation'," the four laugh at her joke.
"Turns out this wonderful woman is Marylou Sturniolo, right? She takes me into her house, with the permission of Teddy, to meet her triplet sons who are my age," Morgan explains, feeling a smile grow as she gets to the funnier part. "I walk into the backyard and, BAM!" she shouts, catching Nick off guard as he jumps in his seat.
Morgan laughed in shock at the boys reaction and quickly hugged him in apology of scaring him.
"Somone hit me in the head with a basketball," she sarcastically seethes, turning her head slowly towards Matthew.
"I've said sorry like a thousand times!" He defended himself, arms shooting up into the air.
Morgan smiled, nodding to the camera in confirmation of Matt's plead.
"So yeah, that's how we met," she shrugged making Christopher laugh out loud.
"That was so dramatic for what?"
"For deez nuts," Morgan stifled a laugh at her own reply, watching as Chris's mouth hung open.
The quartet burst out into laughter at the girls joke before returning to the video.
"Favorite singer, go! By the way, love you guys," Nick readout.
"I'm not the triplets but I love you too, Mal! I think that's how I say your name," Morgan grinned, waving at the camera as if it was the 'Mal' girl.
It took about five minutes of interruptions, distractions and arguments before the question could be professionally answered by any of the four teenagers.
"Skies," Chris shrugged, as if he hadn't just spent over five minutes yelling at his brothers.
"Mac Miller, Dominic Fike and Queen," Morgan grinned, turning to Nick.
"Arianna Grande, Doja Cat and SZA," he shrugged.
"Too many to list."
The video went on for another fifteen minutes before the quartet wrapped it up and turned the camera off before driving home with a random flowing conversation.
( 💌 ) MAL SPEAKS,

it if everyone actually read today's
'mal speaks,' because i need all
the opinions i can get!!
first off, i will be continuing with this
story. i debated with myself the other
night and i realized i don't write any
gross things, unless you count an
occasional kiss, in this book (or ever).
though, i will say, if the boys ever
asked me to take down this story
i would in a heartbeat. i would hate
for them to feel uncomfortable!!
second, i'm thinking of making another
book for chris (or matt again) and it will
be a social media/irl book so i want to
know who out of chris and matt would
you like me to write about next/again.
and finally, thank you for 18k reads!! that's
like 18,000 people! LMFAO.
take care of yourself and i hope this
