PERSONALITY
alysia is, what people would say, the image of a 'perfect woman' — she's beautiful, seemingly obedient, respectful and not very opinionated. or, well, she publicly shows herself to be that way. though, she has many flaws. she's harsh and even rude at times and although she may be gentle, she has slight arrogance about her. she's not a great fan of the king, however is loyal to him, and cares enough to, without much hesitation, expose anyone against him.

BACKSTORY
alysia was born the only child of a noble family. her parents were always extremely strict when it came to how she behaved, obsessed with making her what society would say was a proper lady. they didn't necessarily fail — when she was about sixteen, her family managed to get the king's attention, soon resulting in his and alysia's marriage. alysia was very fond of him at first, though slowly her admiration for him faded away. a year later, she had a son, a heir, whom the king was likely elated to see. two years from then, she gave birth again, this time having a daughter. while her husband was more focused on the kingdom, she was always more interested in her children, doting on them for most of their childhood, though becoming more controlling as they grew.
