Birds chirped, the sunlight hitting Niki's face. The boy's eyes flickered open, quietly groaning in order to not wake up the boy beside him. Niki lifted his head up to see Sunoo sleeping, his hands around the older's waist, basically hugging him.

Niki smiled, ruffling Sunoo's hair and grabbing a pillow, exchanging his figure with it. Sitting up and going down the bed, Niki washed his face, looking at his reflection on the mirror in front of him.

I can't believe I slept on his bed..

Niki grinned, turning the lights off and heading to the kitchen to make a simple breakfast for Sunoo. Eggs. Simple, but the younger didn't know how to cook much so he worked with what he can make.

Niki finished cooking the meal, putting on his clothes and neatly folding the clothes Sunoo lent him to wear for yesterday, leaving a small note by the dining table.

Niki twisted the hinge, looking back to see Sunoo still sleeping, a smile plastered on his face before leaving.

Sunoo rubbed his eyes, climbing down from his bed and looking around to see no sign of Niki. Yawning, his feet dragged him to the kitchen to grab a glass of water, noticing Niki's note sticked on the dining table.

Good morning, Sunoo hyung! Hope you had a good sleep! I too was able to rest well with your body beside mine ehe. I made eggs for you, their by the stove if you wanna eat them! See you in school today ^^

Sunoo chuckled, grabbing the plate of eggs and sitting down by the counter with a fork on his hand, taking a bite of the eggs and leaning on his chair.

"Tastes like home.." Sunoo closed his eyes, the taste of the eggs remembering him of his mother's cooking.

Ddeon crawled up by the chair beside his, tilting his head.

"Oh! I'm late for school!"

"Sunoo hyung!"

Jungwon saw Sunoo enter the classroom, hugging the older as Sunoo chuckled.

"Are you okay?! Where did you run off to yesterday?! We were so worried!" Jungwon whined, pulling away from the hug as Sunoo tilted his head and smiled.

"Oh? In a good mood?" Jay asked, as Sunoo sat on his seat.

"Mm, more like slightly better." Sunoo responded, his hands freezing before grabbing his books.

"By the way..

What happened to Runa?" Sunoo asked, taking his friends aback.

He asked not because he cares and forgives her for what she did, but because he was wondering if she got what she deserved.

"The principal suspended her for three weeks, I think you and Niki also have to answer some questions since you guys were involved in the situation."

Sunoo hummed at Heeseung's words, taking his books out when the door slid open.

"You too! Where have you been?" Heeseung scolded the boy who entered the classroom, who was also smiling at Sunoo.

"Home."

Niki spoke and smiled, taking his seat as Jay slapped his forehead.

"Yeah no shit, Nishimura. Both of you disappeared after school!" Heeseung scolded both of them, making the two chuckle.

"Try getting bashed in front of the whole school, let's see if you can handle that." Sunghoon pat Heeseung's back, slapping the back of the older's head.

The professor entered the classroom, slapping her pointed stick on the podium as she instructed students to take their seats.

Niki sat across Sunoo, in front of him on his right, turning around as they smiled each other.

Thank you, Sunoo mouthed.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU GOT SUSPENDED?!"

Runa's father shouted from the phone, as Runa was curled up in a ball, sniffling.

"I-I'm s-sorry fa-"

"Sorry won't fix anything, Haruna Atsuko. You make one more mistake and I'm sending you back to Japan. You're a disgrace to the family." Her father said in a somewhat sternly voice before ending the call, as Runa squinted her eyes and cried.

What has gotten into her? Well, Niki.

She never knew she could like someone so much to the point she'd go to the extent and do extreme things that cross the line.

All she wanted was to scare Sunoo away, just for the sake of Niki hopefully befriending her again, but her reputation was damaged, and so was her family's company.

She was sitting down on her floor, head down placed on her knees and sobbing.

Just like Sunoo and Niki,,

She also had problems and had her own coping process.

Like how Niki has Sunoo and how Sunoo has Niki and his mother, Runa has Niki. Or at least had him.

Now that Niki's slipped out of her hands, she doesn't know what to do and who to turn to. She has no siblings, her parents were too busy to attend to her problems, had no friends.

Well, she did have Sunoo and the friend group, but she was 100% sure they all hate her now.

Now she's stuck at home, for three weeks, reflecting on her actions.

She just wanted Niki, let alone just someone to be there for her, was it so much to ask for?

"Kim!"

Heeseung and the others shouted from outside, leaning on the door frame as Sunoo fixed his things.

"Coming!" Sunoo smiled, jogging to his friends and walking their way to the cafeteria.

"Where's Niki?" Sunoo asked.

"Basketball practice with Jay." Heeseung replied and patted Sunoo's head as Sunghoon nudged the boy's shoulder.

"Looking for Niki, huh? Did something happen between you two?" Sunghoon wiggled his eyebrows, making Sunoo teasingly lift his fist up at him.

"YOU LIL-"

"Guys?" Jake tapped their shoulders, as Sunoo and Sunghoon turned their heads to the crowd gathering one locker.

"What's happening?" Jungwon asked, tiptoeing to see more clearly and frustrated because of his height, huffing.

"Lemme go see." Heeseung excuse himself through the crowd, ending up at front with his lips slowly parting.

Jake's locker..

Spray painted with horrible words about him and...Sunghoon.

Sunghoon excused himself and went up front, seeing Jake's locker destroyed. The boy's fists clenched as the others went up front too, the crowd's eyes landing on Jake.

"H-hyung.." Jungwon gasped, looking at his Jake hyung with concerned eyes.

Jake gulped, his eyes watering as Sunghoon noticed that the boy was about to cry. Heeseung furiously sighed and death glared at everyone in the crowd.

"Stop recording this, whoever did this made a school violation." Heeseung took one student's phone and deleted the video, doing the same with other students as Sunoo and Jungwon patted Jake's back.

"Hyung.." Sunghoon turned around and tried grabbing Jake's hand, but the older flinched and sniffled, excusing himself from the crowd and running off.

"Don't follow me." Were Jake's last words before everyone turned their heads to the running boy.

Sunghoon clenched his knuckles even more, slamming his fist on the locker as everyone flinched.

"EYES HERE." Sunghoon shouted as the students' gaze went from Jake to the ground.

"Hoon, let's go-"

"No, they ruined someone. What makes you have the right to think you can say these?" Sunghoon glared at everyone as everyone gulped.

"Answer me." Sunghoon's tone started becoming scarier as Jungwon, Heeseung and Sunoo tried pulling him away but he refused.

"You don't wanna answer me? Fine." Sunghoon clicked his tongue, looking down to see the empty spray paint can and picking it up. Looking at it and glancing at the crowd, he threw the can furiously, to the point it got bent as everyone was terrified.

"Get out of here." Sunghoon spoke sternly, looking away as everyone walked away, some even bowed before running to another direction.

Sunghoon slid his back down the lockers, his head resting on his knees and looking down.

"Hyung.." Jungwon kneeled down in front of him, patting his shoulder.

"Whoever did it will pay, don't get so mad hyung, you might get reported." Sunoo spoke and patt sunghoon's back as Heeseung sighed and looked at the locker, seeing the disgusting slurs written all over it.

"Now the school knows about me and Jake.." Sunghoon mumbled.

"Aren't you just courting him?" Heeseung asked, trying to smudge the paint away.

"Yeah..someone must have found out.." Sunghoon mumbled again as the 3 friends around him hugged his upset figure. Sunghoon was more worried for Jake than anything else at the moment.

"I-I need to find him." Sunghoon placed his hands inside his jacket's pockets, slowly standing up as his feet dragged him away from the rest of his friends.

The 3 stood up from crouching, sighing as they watched their friend's figure disappear from their sight.

"Who do you think did it?" Jungwon asked, looking up at Heeseung.

"I don't know, no one holds grudges against Jake..the most possible answer are Sunghoon's fangirls." Heeseung replied, looking up and down at the locker once again.

"Sunoo hyung?" Jungwon waved his hand in front of Sunoo, making the older snap out of his thoughts.

"Oh uh, sorry."

"Something on your mind?" Heeseung asked, leaning on the locker and lending an ear to hear Sunoo out.

"No it's just..Jungwon, do you get backlash for dating Jay?" Sunoo asked.

"Mhm, everyday. I get threat letters on my locker and death stares everywhere I go. But I don't really care. Why?" Jungwon tilted his head.

"Just..If you and Jake hyung get backlash for being close with Jay and Sunghoon hyung then-"

"You'll get backlash for liking Niki?" Heeseung guessed, catching Sunoo off gaurd.

"I-I already got a bit of backlash yesterday, I-I'm just..yeah.." Sunoo looked down, earning hugs from the 2 friends with him.

It's not that he wasn't worried for his Jake and Sunghoon hyung, he really was.

But he can't help but think what will happen to him and Niki?

He can't take stares and threats, he wasn't easy with those kinds of things.

Maybe he should just lay his feelings for Niki off and call it a day. Maybe that way both him and Niki can live a peaceful life.

But whatever happens, he'll try his best to accept liking Niki.

Right?
