Runa hopped out of the bus, getting stares from a few girls her age. They looked like they were jealous on how pretty she was. Of course, Runa smirked at them, obviously knowing she's dashing as always.

Boys drooled over her as she walked inside the school campus, glancing at a familiar figure. Runa grinned at skipped her way to the group of 6.

"Hi boys! Hi Niki!"

Niki lifted his head up from his phone to see the horrible girl.

"I'm going." Before Niki could leave the group, Jay caught him by the back of his collar, bringing him back inside the circle.

"C'mon Niki, try to be nice to females for once." Jake suggested, giving the younger 2 thumbs up.

This is ridiculous, Niki thought.

"It's okay Niki-ssi, I don't bite."

Niki eyed Runa who was grinning widely, looking into her eyes with a glare that looked like he hated her guts. Because he did.

Oh how he silently groaned at how she already has his 5 friends wrapped around her finger. What spell did she cast on them? Nothing. Just her charm, her own self wasn't so evil as Niki makes it seem on his 5 friends' eyes.

"You guys can go first. I have to talk to her."

Niki grabbed Runa's wrist harshly, dragging her somewhere that the boys couldn't follow.

"What's up?"

Sunoo spoke out of nowhere, making the 5 boys startled.

"Oh, child Niki just dragged Runa somewhere, he said he has to talk to her." Heeseung sighed and shook his head, rolling his eyes at the youngest's sillyness. Sunoo bit his lip at what his hyung said, hoping that Runa was okay with that boy.

"Why, Sunoo-ssi? Because you're afraid Niki might steal Runa away from you? Aye, I bet that's the reason." Sunghoon teased, making Sunoo hiss at him.

"Well I'm not the one who kisses Jake hyung in public, that's so embarrassing!"

"Well at least I have someone to kiss! You don't have anyone!"

Sunoo and Sunghoon growled at each other first thing in the morning, to the point Heeseung and Jake had to pull them apart before they could pull each other's hair.

Sunsun chaotic duo, am I right?

"You're hurting me!"

Runa hissed, Niki's grip was too tight and would probably leave a mark on her wrist afterwards. Niki went inside an empty classroom, locking it before letting go of her.

"What are you doing to my friends?" Niki's tone made him look furious, well because he was. Runa rubbed her wrist that was slightly wrist.

"I'm not doing anything, what do you mean?"

"Don't lie to me, I know their just one of your victims to play."

"Oh please, don't act like you don't play with other people too."

Niki twisted his head at her words, her smirk appearing.

"What? Got nothing to say, Nishimura?" She raised an eyebrow at him, her fingers tracing the empty seats of the classroom and blowing the dust out of her fingers.

"See, Niki? We act alike, it means we're meant for each other-"

"So if we are, then why did you stranger-zone me when we were 10?" Niki crossed his arms, making his tone more stern than before. He was fed up with Runa's games. He wants to know what she'll do.

"That was the past, Niki. Shouldn't you have forgiven me by now?"

"No, I will not and never forgive you. You gave me a horrible childhood, made a fool of me, you don't deserve my trust, not again." Niki glared at the female with eyes that were scary as hers, her sigh being audible as she sits down on a seat.

"Awh, is Niki boo's heart still fragile and easy to break? But don't worry, I have someone else now. Kim Sunoo, ever heard of him?"

Niki lifted his head up, hearing butt guy's name. Kim Sunoo? Out of all people, why him?

"Heard you're a friend of his, is that true?" Runa grinned, playing with her fingers.

"More like of an acquaintance. What are you gonna do to him?" Niki said with no emotion, hearing Runa's sudden laugh.

"Hm, I'll see. I'm sure his heart is fragile, just like yours. Cause there's no way that boy is all just happy for no reason. Why? Are you gonna protect him?"

Niki avoided her gaze, gulping at the last question. Was he going to comfort someone he 50% hates? Sunoo wasn't so bad, but Niki didn't know enough of him to consider Sunoo as a friend.

"Just..don't do anything funny. I couldn't care less if it was someone I don't know, just don't try to lure my friends into your little playful hands."

Niki straightened his posture, walking out of the room whilst leaving the female alone all by herself.

Runa sighed and banged her head on the table, closing her eyes for a good few minutes.

Don't mind him, just as long as it makes you feel better.

Sunoo hummed one of his favorite ITZY songs while his feet dragged him to the bus stop since school had ended.

Sunoo skipped his way, then glancing at a small cat that was on the corner of the bus stop. Fortunately, Niki was also at that bus stop, taking his earphones off as soon as he glanced at Sunoo petting the animal.

"Awh, what are you doing here all alone, little guy? Where's your mama?" Sunoo giggled at how tiny and cute the cat was, sitting down on the bench.

"Why are you touching that?"

Niki suddenly spoke, making the older startled, lifting his head up to see Niki standing beside the bench.

"What do you mean?"

"Aren't you afraid if that thing has rabies or something?" Niki raised an eyebrow at Sunoo, making Sunoo smile widely.

"I'm sure it's healthy! Isn't it so cute, Niki-ssi?" Sunoo held the cat up, carrying the cat in his hands. Niki wasn't sure of what made him stumble a little. Was it the cat being so close to his face, or the strange feeling of Sunoo calling him by his name.

"A-agh! Get that thing away from me!" Niki put his hands on his face for 'self defense', making Sunoo pout and bring the cat back down on his lap.

Both Sunoo and Niki can't lie, but they weren't so bad afterall.

"I should give this cat a name too! What's a nice name, Niki-ssi?" Niki got caught off guard, shrugging his shoulders.

"I don't know with y-"

"Oh, I know! Imma name him Wonnie!" Sunoo giggled, making Niki look at him weirdly.

"I-I'm sorry, Wonnie? Did you just name a stray cat after Jungwon hyung?"

"Yeah! Their both small, both have sharp eyes, oh and their adorable too!" Sunoo giggled, playing with the paws of the cat. Niki slightly laughed, making Sunoo turn his head to him.

"Sorry, it's just ridiculously funny."

Sunoo softly smiled at Niki's small laugh, both boys standing up properly when the bus stops in front of them.

Sunoo walked inside the bus with the cat on his arms, but he was stopped by the bus driver.

"Excuse me kid, but no pets allowed." The driver pointed at the sign sticked on the window, making Sunoo's eyes show confusion.

"But I can't just leave this poor kitty alone-"

"You're being stupid, kid! Either get rid of that hideous cat or walk home!" The driver shouted at Sunoo, making Sunoo flinch. Sunoo pouted, taking one last glance at the kitty.

Niki looked at Sunoo who was pouting and saying a goodbye to the small kitten. Niki sighed and put his hands on the driving seat of the driver.

"Excuse me sir, but do you have pets?"

"Yes, a dog-"

"Okay so if your dog was on the street alone with no family, no home, no food, you would do anything to take them home right?"

"Well yes-"

"Okay so let the boy bring the cat. The animal isn't doing anything harmful, so at least let it sit. And calling the cat hideous? Sir, look at yo-"

"OKAY OKAY, FINE! Just restrain the cat!" Niki smiled in victory, taking a seat on the nearer seats, the driver mumbling 'Ugh, high school kids.'

Sunoo carried the cat on his arms, letting it sit on his lap while securing him with his hands, taking a seat beside Niki.

"Thank you for that, Niki-ssi!"

"Don't get ahead of yourself, I just did that cause I felt bad for the animal, not you."

Sunoo huffed, chuckling while petting the cat's fur. Oh wait, let's rephrase the cat to 'Wonnie' now.

Niki eyed from the blue sky to the boy sitting beside him, he got reminded of what Runa said at school earlier today.

Sunoo may not be his sort of friend yet, but he wasn't so bad so maybe he could keep at least one eye out for what Runa can and will do to Sunoo.
