welcome to my marauders sexuality headcanons. most of these are my own opinions although a few are co-established with Maddy but they released their list before I had the motivation to do mine so enjoy!

Remus: bisexual, demi
Pronouns: he/they
Reason: he saw Sirius Black and thought he was hot then he saw Nymphadora Tonks and thought they were hot too and I'm sure at one point in time they had a bookish sweet girlfriend (idk why I just always imagine they did)

Sirius: gay (mlm)
Pronouns: they/he
Reason: honestly I don't think Sirius gives a fuck about pronouns I just think they prefer the ones above but he's one of those motherfuckers that are literally above pronouns as a species. also the gay is self explanatory. they saw Remus Lupin and had a breakdown.

James: pansexual
Pronouns: he/him
Reason: i was tempted to say he/they but I think James would just be happy in his own skin no matter what. anyway, James just loves everyone in life so it's not surprising that this reflects in his relationships and his crushes. (also I know I said James was straight in my hcs but I've since come to realise that that's absolutely not true)

Peter: aroace
Pronouns: he/him
Reason: he just never seemed interested. at first he thought it was just that he wasn't into girls, then he realised he wasn't into guys either, and then he was just sorta happy with that. hence aroace. easy, no fuss. very unproblematic sexuality.

Lily: bisexual, demi
Pronouns: she/her
Reason: she's bi with a preference for men and didn't actually know she was bi until Marlene told her that her 'supportive friend act' was a little too gay and she was like "holy shit it is?!"

Marlene: sapphic
Pronouns: she/they
Reason: Marlene has two aesthetics in the fandom; quiet, sporty and meekly funny or in-your-face, fuck-off energy... I think this fits both in its own way. she's a legend either way and I'm an absolute Marlene kinnie

Dorcas: lesbian
Pronouns: they/she
Reason: Dorcas is a legend no matter what. but they just give me big dick energy lesbian vibes. and I know they're presented in about 200 different ways in all sorts of fics but this is personally how I see them.

Alice: straight, demi
Pronouns: she/her
Reasons: she's the emotional support straight and simultaneously the mother of the girls like James is the mother of the boys. it's a fact of life. she's a massive ally and is always there to listen and there to fight against the bullshit. we love Alice.

Frank: ace & pan romantic
Pronouns: he/him
Reasons: he's just an unproblematic king livin his motherfuckin life, yanno? he just goes with the flow and doesn't bother himself with sex etc. he considers himself incredibly lucky to have found someone like Alice who doesn't care about his asexuality because she's not too fussed either.

Mary: queer
Pronouns: she/her
Reasons: she doesn't really bother with labels so she's never really given herself an umbrella to fit under and that's cool. she's cool.

Emmeline: lesbian
Pronouns: she/her
Reasons: honestly I have no idea why I've always thought Emmy was wlm but I know some people ship her with Peter and that's cool too. this is just my hc for no reason?

Hestia: bisexual
Pronouns: she/they
Reasons: I've always seen Hestia as a badass quidditch beater and them being bi just makes sense to me? she doesn't have a preference but has dated more women in their lifetime idk why I thought of that but it's out there now.

Regulus: gay 
Pronouns: he/him
Reasons: he hasn't really dated anyone but he's known he was gay since Sirius taught him about the Muggle movements when they were both little.

Snivellous: straight and homophobic
Pronouns: he does not deserve to be directly addressed but probably says his pronouns are fuck/off or some shit
Reasons: he gives me the vibes of a motherfucker that identifies as an attack helicopter and passes it off as humour.

anyway, feel free to disagree, this is just my personal thoughts. no disrespect to anyone that thinks differently. this also goes both ways, please don't bash me for not headcanoning something the same way as you, be polite when you disagree. I've had people be like "NO, HOW DARE YOU INTERPRET A CHARACTER MENTIONED TWICE IN CANON A DIFFERENT WAY THAN ME YOU ARE WRONG" like okay, honey it's a matter of opinion but you stay safe tho
