hey everyone! since the Olympics are on rn I thought I'd share some headcanons of if the marauders were Olympic athletes, honestly I've no idea what's compelled me to do this but here they are:

The girls sports:
•Lily is a gymnast but her favourite would be the floor.
•Marlene is a hockey player
•Mary is a trampolinist
•Dorcas is a sprinter but started in the heptathlon
•Alice is a beach volleyball player
•Emmeline is a diver
•Hestia is a skateboarder
•(bonus) Tonks is a pole vaulter

The boys sports:
•James is a sprinter
•Remus is a park skateboarder
•Sirius is a diver
•Peter is a cyclist
•Frank is a triathlete
•Regulus is a gymnast and he prefers the high bar

•James and Dorcas are really good friends and are a well known duo in the mixed relays. they are either anchors or put next to each other because their change-overs are always flawless.

•Marlene is the star of her sport and the rest of her team love her. She started out in track where she met Dorcas but changed sports before professional level

•Lily has always been famously good at floor gymnastics but is also amazing on the beam and vault. in the team events everyone felt a little safer when Lily was on their team.

•Remus had a reputation for being very cool, calm and collected when skating. even out the park he always seemed chill. everyone loved him and were secretly jealous of his composure and talent.

•Hestia had a similar attitude and that made them both really good mates.

•Sirius and Emmeline were synchronised diving partners and were each other's gay best friends. both of them dating the skateboarder cool kids.

•Reggie never took medals for granted and was always so humble. he was one of the youngest there, but made good friends with Lily.

•Mary never came away without a medal. nothing she did was ever done twice and she was always the favourite to win. her and Lily met through gymnastics as Mary started as a floor gymnast.

•Alice was always small for a volleyball player but she was way stronger than she looked. she had been married to Frank for almost as long as she'd played volleyball and they were always on social media together showing off their medals.

•Tonks was also quite small for a vaulter but she was famous for being a force of nature. however they were also famous for being furious whenever they didn't make a jump. it was best not to talk to her when this happened.

•Frank was always best at the open water swim but he preferred the run because Alice would always find time to be there to cheer him on.

•Lily and James had a very public rivalry on social media, even in Olympic village they'd be bickering. people shipped them like mad, especially when they saw James in the gallery to watch Lily win her medal.

•everyone went crazy when they found out that Lily and James had been together for years. it was accidentally revealed when James and Dorcas won a gold medal in the mixed relay and James ran into the crowd to kiss Lily. she pretended to be mad but secretly loved it.
