Here is a list of marauders headcanons. Most of these are my own. A few are based off of things I've seen but I still love them.
Feel free to add any more or disagree with mine.

•One day in sixth year James takes off his glasses to clean them while he's talking to Remus and Lily in the common room. It's late-ish and the fire is growing, basically it's a nice ambiance. When he puts his glasses back on Lily gasps and James gets a fright before she says 'holy shit I had no idea your eyes were so pretty!' As soon as she realises what she's said she literally bails as soon as she can and Remus is left pissing himself laughing and James is too shell shocked to even get the story out to Sirius and Peter later on so Remus has to tell it

•James was straight but also very comfortable in his sexuality and so he would constantly make jokes about how hot the other marauders are. Especially Remus and Sirius would get to upset.
-"Moony honestly I cannot get away with how hot you look in that sweater. I think I'm developing a thing for softie erudite guys."
-"The elbow patches, are you kidding me?! How can one man be so cute!"
-"Honestly Sirius I would fuck you given half a chance."
-"Peter don't worry about that Hufflepuff. She doesn't see your beauty."
-"Frank you look hot as fuck, now get out of here or you'll be late for your date with Alice!"
-"Sirius... your brother and I got some quidditch practice in today and I can't believe I've never noticed how hot he is before. It must run in the family."

•Round about the start of sixth year James gained more female friends. (He already had a lot) and he would still compliment them too. He was literally the worlds biggest hype man (but Lily never got angry because she knew that he was a trustworthy guy and he didn't actually have feelings for any of them)
"McKinnon, holy shit that dress does things for you and damn Dorcas would be blind not to fall in love!"
"Alice, honestly if Frank doesn't propose to you, I might."
"Dorcas you could kill me and I would thank you. I literally worship you girl, fuck sake!"
(But of course he's the biggest simp for Lily)

•James was a bimbo but he wasn't a prick about it. It was mainly to try and get over Lily. (He only made her jealous)

•Speaking of Lily,  she was such a jealous girlfriend but she denied it furiously
"Who was that girl?"
"Why? Are you jealous?" (Winking)
"NO! I mean... no?"
"She's my cousin."
"I—... oh... I knew that..."
"Sure."

•Lily definitely wore a necklace with the letter J on it. James insisted she never take it off on the run up to quidditch games because he honestly believed it brought them luck.

•Mary has bangs. (I'm not willing to negotiate on this one. She just does.)

•Remus cuts Mary's hair (and usually the rest of the Gryffindor's go to him for hairdressing needs).
Side note: he would often mess around with styling Tonks' hair when he was bored because he knew that she could just fix it anyway.

•Remus could solve any puzzle in like 10 seconds flat. Rubix cubes, jigsaws, literally anything.

•He loves to tinker with little trinkets to figure out how they work or to fix them. Usually things like clocks or music boxes. And he was often seen in the library of the dorm pulling apart and resembling tiny little cogs and various other things.

•Frank was always 'part of the girls' for so long that he literally had to come out as straight.

•Remus and James could cook.
•Peter and Sirius could bake.
•Lily could burn the house down.

•Lily was a domestic disaster while James was literally a junior Mrs Weasley and he would always reassure her that she didn't need to be good at domestic life just because she was a woman/parent in the 70s. He'd rather look after her anyway.
"Yes, Evans, I know you don't need looking after."
•Despite this she would always pull the "I'm pregnant" card whenever she wanted James to do something for her because he could never refuse.

•Sirius used to randomly appear in Godrics Hollow at any time of the day as Padfoot. Often it was the middle of the night at the bottom of Lily and James bed, or beside Harry's cot.

•Peter was exceptionally good at detecting if someone was lying. It was literally impossible to lie to him.
His mother was worse and so they had come up with a way to make sure they never lied to Miss Pettigrew: basically they just bullshitted every conversation with her.

•Peter was often found helping the house elves in the kitchen. Especially when he was missing his mum. This was how him and James bonded in first year because James was going to do the same thing.

•Remus could cross stitch like a boss.
He taught Lily but she never had the patience but Alice was also really good. The two of them would sit and cross stitch together on front of the common room fire.
•This progressed to knitting and eventually crocheting.
•During the holiday season the two of them (sometimes recruiting Mary and Frank) would make everyone in their group an item of clothing. Sometimes hats, sometimes scarves, or gloves or jumper or blankets.

•Alice loved to give her friends spontaneous gifts. Almost every time she went to Hogsmeade she'd bring something back for whoever was having the toughest week. Sometimes if she was in a good mood she'd bring something back for everyone.

•Sirius slept in Remus' old sweaters/jumpers. Even when he was Padfoot he'd use Remus' ripped ones to make himself a little den.

•It was Marlene's idea for Sirius to buy a motorcycle. Her muggle friend had one and she always wanted her own so the two of them bought a beaten down one and spent their weekends and free periods fixing it up together. After they'd done Lily gave them the idea to enchant it to fly. (She even helped).

•Mary is unable to study unless there's background noise. She'll always ask someone to be there and make some sort of sound.
•James, Remus or Alice would sing to her.
•Lily, Remus (again) and Frank would read books to her.
•Dorcas, Marlene and Sirius would just go endlessly on a monologue about absolutely anything.

•The marauders adored Muggle music. Their favourites were Queen, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones and they would often be heard screaming their songs from the dorm.

•Both Remus and James could play guitar and sometimes they would learn the same songs so one of them could play with a capo and they would harmonise melodies.
•They often learnt Lily and Sirius' favourite songs.
•Lily loved Elton John and The Carpenters.
•Sirius loved Queen and David Bowie.
•Remus and James' song repertoire was very diverse.

•All pureblood family's speak a certain language over basic Latin.
•The Blacks speak French (of course)
•The Potters speak Greek (it just makes sense to me)
•The McKinnons speak fluent Latin. (Don't ask me why it's just what I think).
•The Longbottoms speak Spanish.
•The Fortescues speak Italian.

•Regulus is taller than Sirius.
•This fact is very funny to the Marauders.

•Sirius doesn't understand personal space. He'd come from a world where affection was frowned upon and now he had it he couldn't get enough!

•Dorcas and Alice were amazing at braiding hair. They could do it so quickly and they knew all sorts of complicated things.

•Wolfstar's special place is the astronomy tower so they can watch the stars under a new moon.

•Marlene was a boss quidditch player and she could play any position she wanted.
•Dorcas wasn't so good but she was extremely fast on a broom.
•They used to race all the time.

•Remus was hilarious at quidditch commentating. Everyone used to go to the games he commentated regardless of who was playing or if they cared about quidditch.

•The marauders were solely missed when they graduated and the older students used to tell stories of their pranks to the younger kids.

QUESTION: I really wanna do the thing Actuallyamarauder did when she rated ships so please give me some! They can be any HP era or they don't even have to be from HP they could be anything. Although if I don't know them then it's likely I won't do it unless I've heard a lot about them involuntary.
(Also they can be crackships)
