From the moment he was born, the stars refused to align for the boy, leaving him victim to the infamous werewolf Fenrir Greyback. The same could be said for his romantic life, another case of right person wrong time. Or right person and lack of confidence.

Francesca Denbright was the polar opposite.

She was the luckiest girl in the world. From wonderful parents to a more than comfortable upbringing, her life was practically perfect. She on the other hand was a wrong person right time kind of girl.

So what happened when the unlucky man met the fortunate woman?

When Remus got offered a teaching post at Hogwarts, he found himself revisiting memories he had shut away for so long, memories so vivid they kept him awake at night.

That damn castle always had a way of making you remember things you've tried years to forget. But Remus could never forget Francesca, even if she had forgotten him.
