ELLY
"Elly? Noen? Are you two in there?" a voice calls through the door with a heavy knock. I look up and see Noen shifting, but not waking up.
"Yeah. We're in here," I call back.
"Are you two still coming with us?" I recognize the voice as Griffin's when he replies.
"No. You guys have fun, though."
"Okay. Call if you need anything, alright?"
"Alright," I reply. I hear Griffin's footsteps retreating down the hallway as I start to fall back asleep against Noen's chest.
"Elly?" he whispers.
"What?" I mumble.
"Do you want to move up to one of the beds?"
"Mhm." We both lazily stand up and drag ourselves over to the neatly-made bed before crawling underneath the sheets.
"Sleep well, bub."
"Sleep well, Noen," I reply quietly before snuggling down under the covers and curling up against his chest. I feel one of Noen's arms wrap around my waist right before we both fall asleep.
After a few hours, I wake slowly to the sound of loud voices out in the hall. I look around and see Noen in the same position that we fell asleep in.
The door opens, and Jaden walks in, followed by Josh. They are smiling and talking about something as they drop a few bags against the wall.
"Hey," I say, sitting up in bed. Josh turns around with a smile.
"Hey. Is that Noen?" I turn and see that Noen has pulled the blanket over his head, but some of his hair can be seen from the top.
"Yeah." I turn back around. "So, how was Houston?"
"Good, good. How was your nap?" Josh asks with a smile.
"Good," I reply with a laugh. "I guess we should start getting ready to head over to the event, yeah?"
"Yeah," Josh replies, then starts sorting through his suitcase for some clothes. I pull back the blankets from Noen's head.
"Hey, time to go." I shake his shoulder gently, causing him to wake up with a groan.
"Hmm?"
"Time to go. You gotta go get ready in your own room," I say.
"Alright. Bye, bub." Noen rolls off of the bed and heads out of the room. When the door clicks shut behind him, Josh already in the bathroom changing, Jaden and I are left alone.
"Can we talk about earlier?" Jaden asks quietly, approaching me as I get out of the bed. He stands in front of me with a nervous look across his face.
"What about it?"
"What you saw-"
"No. Jaden, no," I say quietly. He looks taken aback.
"What?"
"No, Jaden. We can't talk about earlier." I square my shoulders and cross my arms over my chest.
"Why?"
"Because what you did was wrong, Jaden."
"What I did? What do you mean? I didn't do anything!" he whisper yells to me.
"You told me that you broke up with Madison! You lead me on! I thought it was okay to kiss you! I thought it was okay when you kissed me! And then to find out I was helping you cheat on someone? Yeah, you did something." I glare at him and let out a frustrated sigh.
"It's not like that."
"It so is like that!"
"We were just kissing, Elly. Alright? It wasn't a big deal," Jaden groans.
"It wasn't a big deal?" I ask with a laugh. "Are you actually serious right now? Of course it was a big deal, Jaden!"
"Yeah? To who?" Jaden asks bluntly.
"To me! Probably to your girlfriend!" I whisper yell back to him. I shake my head at him and grab my hair supplies out of my duffel before I start heading towards the door to find another room to get ready in. As I pull the door open, Jaden speaks again.
"Well, it wasn't to me."
