By the way, this takes place at the end of the 2nd year of the Clone Wars, right before the temple bombing thing that I have decided will not happen, so when Ahsoka is dead for 3 years, it'll be 5 years into the war.

Count Dooku angrily stormed down the hallway of his fortress on Serenno. It would be smarter to use the book on the Padawan. They could have an assassin. Dooku threw open the door to the medical wing and burst into the Padawan's room. She was still unconscious.

"I have been ordered to kill Tano." Dooku said politely. "I disagree. We will keep her here until I can convince my Master to use the book. Once the healing process is done, take her to a cell and leave her there."

Dooku left before the droids could make a comment.

...

Padme sat up in her bed, wide awake. She hadn't been able to get much sleep lately. Not since Ahsoka died. She knew no one was doing much better than her though, so she decided to try to stay strong for them all. She had to. Everyone needed her.

Suddenly, Padme burst into tears. She had finally broken. She let the water spill down her face like small streams. She wrapped her arms around herself and curled up into a ball.

Ahsoka, someone who was like her daughter was dead, and she could do nothing about it. Everything was falling apart. She lost an important vote just the other day because of what happened to Ahsoka.

Padme choked on her own tears as she cried for hours. When she was done, she fell asleep on her soaked pillow.

...

Rex knew how to deal with grief. He'd lost a lot of brothers. The most recent one was Hardcase, a few months ago, on Umbara. Losing Echo was hard enough, but now he lost another sibling. How many more of his siblings would die before this kriffing war ended?

"Sir," Jesse knocked on Rex's door. "The boys want to talk to you. You gotta tell them at some point. About the commander, I mean."

Rex sighed. "It is better than learning through the holonet." He got up. "Come on, I guess it is time to tell them."

The two brothers walked out of the room and into the common area where all the clones immediately looked at them.

Rex cleared his throat. "Boys, many of you want to know what happened on the mission, and it's time you found out." He closed his eyes for a second. "While on the train, a new kind of droid attacked General Skywalker and Commander Tano. It—" Rex hesitated, "it killed our commander."

He wasn't expecting a response so soon.

"Liar!" Fives called out. "Ahsoka can't be dead! It's impossible! You have to be lying!"

Rex sighed. "I'm sorry, but I'm not lying."

Fives glared at him. "There's—there's no way. She's our ad'ika. She can't be dead."

"I'm so sorry." Rex closed his eyes and let himself cry, even if he was reluctant to do so. He looked up at his brothers. They all looked sad in their own ways. Some were crying, and trying to hide it. Kix looked surprised, but like he would mourn later.

Rex thought that he would regret telling his brothers about Ahsoka's death, however he didn't feel any regret. He felt more as if a great burden was lifted off his shoulders. And he was grateful for that.

This chapter is short. I don't know what to do next, exactly. I mean, I do, but i don't know what to do next for this chapter.

Also I did not edit this. I'll regret that later but that's a 'future me' problem.

Have a good day/night or time on an alien planet.
