Sorry for not updating in a while, I've been busy and have had some writers block

Anakin didn't know he was crying until he felt water hit his lips coming from his eyes. "You don't remember me?"

The Winter Jedi—Ahsoka—whatever she went by now—narrowed her eyes. "I am the Winter Jedi. I must complete the mission." She was less desperate now at the sight of Anakin's weakness.

She began to walk towards him. She picked him up by his shirt's collar. He had no energy left to fight her, nor did he want to anymore. How could he fight his own sister?

Anakin was only half grateful for what happened next. Three gunships began circling the area, swinging large lights on the two of them.

"Stop fighting and surrender." One person from one of the gunships yelled at them. "We are the Coruscant Police."

Anakin was dropped by the Winter Jedi harshly. His chin hit the cold, metal roof, and his teeth hit each other painfully.

The Winter Jedi looked up at the helicopters, then ran to the edge of the building. She hesitated, but eventually jumped off the building with much courage.

"No!" Anakin ran to the side of the cliff to see what happened to the Winter Jedi. Flashbacks from when Ahsoka fell off the train haunted the back of his mind as those milkshakes began to come back up.

She was still falling when he looked. Suddenly, she grabbed the side of a speeder-bike that was next to her and took control of it, pushing the person on it off. The person fell onto a speeder below, yelling angrily the whole time. The Winter Jedi drove off without a second glance. She was gone.

Anakin took a few steps away from the ledge. He felt himself falling to his knees once more.

Ahsoka, no.

...

Obi-Wan was absolutely furious when he got the call from Rex.

"He's in prison? What for?" He yelled.

"He was in a fight, and caused a lot of property damage as well as speeding and stealing." Rex replied through the comlink.

"Who was he fighting?" Obi-Wan demanded.

"The Winter Jedi, sir." Rex said. "That's what one of the officers said when I bailed him out."

Obi-Wan nodded along. "Is there anything else?"

"Yeah. Apparently Anakin got a good look at the Winter Jedi's face. I've already asked him about it but," Rex paused, "he won't say anything to me. He hasn't said a single word since I picked him up."

"Where are you?" Obi-Wan asked.

"I took him back to his apartment in the Jedi Temple." Rex said.

"I'll be there in ten minutes." Obi-Wan assured him, then hung up.

...

Rex had paced around, glancing at Anakin's door every few seconds until Obi-Wan came.

"Obi-Wan, he's in his room." He told the Jedi.

"Thank you for watching him." Obi-Wan smiled. He opened Anakin's bedroom door and walked inside. Rex contemplated going inside with him or not, so he just stood in the doorway.

Anakin was laying in his bed facing the wall.

"Anakin." Obi-Wan said gently. "What happened?"

Anakin made no movement of life for a moment before he spoke. "I saw her."

Rex took a step back. Anakin sounded so...broken.

"Who?" Obi-Wan asked.

"Her." Anakin replied dryly. "She was there, she's her."

"Who are you talking about?" Rex said, confusion rushing through his brain.

Anakin took a deep breath. "I saw Ahsoka. She's—she's the Winter Jedi."

Before Rex could begin to process the news, Obi-Wan stepped closer to Anakin.

"You're lying." Obi-Wan accused. "You saw her die, there's no way she survived the fall."

Anakin jumped up and went face-to-face with Obi-Wan. They were only a few inches apart.

"I know what I saw!" Anakin said angrily. "I wouldn't ever lie about this! And now—now I need your help."

Obi-Wan scoffed. "You need my help? Wasn't it just a few days ago you were mad at me?"

Anakin looked away. "I—we need to do this. Ahsoka would do the same for any of us."

"How could you be sure it is Ahsoka?" Rex stated. There was no way his little sister was alive. "How would she be able to survive the fall?"

There was an awkward silence filled with thinking.

"Mortis." Obi-Wan realized. "The Daughter plus Ahsoka's Togrutan biology might be able to protect her. As for her arm, I don't think she could escape that fall unhurt."

Oh. I guess that makes sense. Rex realized. After Mortis happened, Anakin and Obi-Wan told him what happened, but they didn't tell Ahsoka.

Anakin nodded in agreement. "Will you two help me?" His voice cracked. "Please."

Obi-Wan hesitantly nodded. "I will, but I'm not doing it for you. I'm doing it for Ahsoka."

Rex rolled his eyes. "Of course I'll help. What kind of a brother would I be if I didn't?"

In truth, he was probably being a horrible brother for letting them fight over Anakin's...willingness to fight everyone and everything. He had thought about telling them how stupid they were being, especially because of how they let it get in the way of helping people, specifically Ahsoka, but he decided against it. Maybe it would be healthier if they just worked it out on their own.

Anakin smiled. "There's another thing." He paused. "I don't want the Jedi or Republic to find out about this. I have a bad feeling that if they did, it wouldn't be good. Or the Separatists, but they probably already know. Just...tell no one unless you ask me first."

"I wasn't planning on telling anyone anyway." Rex shrugged.

"Neither was I." Obi-Wan agreed.

Anakin smiled in appreciation. "Thank—I'm glad you're helping."

...

Anakin...Anakin...what? Padme's thoughts swirled around in her head like a tornado. Her eyes creeped open to see bright lights staring at her. Her arms were covered in bandages, and her chest was too. There were three people in white uniforms standing next to wherever she was and there was a beeping noise coming from next to her.

"Padme? Padme Amidala?" One of the three people said. "I'm Doctor Zane. I'm the head doctor here. I've been assigned to help you recover."

"Recover from what?" Padme asked, confused.

"The explosion." The second person said as if it was obvious.

"Adra! You can't just say something to someone like that!" The third person chastised.

Adra rolled her eyes. "Juniper, she was bound to find out at some point!"

"I am sorry about these two." Zane apologized. "You have been in a coma for the past few days. We were worried you wouldn't wake up. Chancellor Palpatine has ordered that no one but us know of your condition."

Padme nodded along, fear and uncertainty behind her eyes. It was all coming back to her. Anakin, the explosion, all of it.

"What happened to Anakin?" She asked worriedly.

"Anakin Skywalker is fine; he survived the incident." Juniper assured her.

Adra snorted. "Then he got himself arrested."

Padme froze. "Well then he needs my help! I need to go!" She started to get up, ignoring the medical equipment all around her, but Juniper pushed her back down.

"You're not done recovering, we can't let you leave." Zane said.

Padme struggled against Juniper's grip.

"I'll sedate her." Adra offered as she grabbed something from a nearby table that Padme couldn't see. A few moments later, she felt a sharp pain in her neck, then there was darkness.

Hehehhe...that's not the last you'll see of Padme

I don't own Star Wars or the characters. This plot is based off one in Marvel and in movie form in the MCU. If anyone steals or edits this without asking me first, I will be mad not like you forever because surprise! I work hard on this story and would like credit for it

Now that that's out of the way...have a good day/night or time on an alien planet
