𝐄𝐧𝐣𝐨𝐲!

"Funneh."

I heard the last person I wanted to think of's name being said by Evelyn.

I also saw the person in front of me.

Her blue hair blew in the wind.

She looked undeniablely pretty.

She pulled her beanie further down.

Her cheeks were red as she looked in my direction.

It was only the cold.

Nothing else.

Don't get your hopes up, Alec.

Sarah and Katie waved to Kyran and walked away blushing, he waved back also blushing.

He turned back around when they were out of earshot.

"And what does this filthy liar want?" Asked Kyran, his usual shyness gone in an instant.

His eyes sparked with menace.

He looked ready to kill.

He looked as if he had planned something and was waiting desperately for it to happen.

Evelyn also looked ready to kill.

"What do want?" She spat, her tone sharp.

Funneh's eyes widened and she looked like she would cry.

Her eyes turned large as she quietly sobbed, clearly not expecting such a harsh reaction.

I stared at her.

I had my life ripped away from me coldly.

Lost my friends, happiness and girlfriend.

Am I crying?

No.

And she's crying from a simple hostile greeting.

If I did that, all my fluids would go into crying, I'd soon cry blood.

Still, I took pity on her.

I wrapped my arms around her.

I wiped her tears away as if it were before.

She looked up at me, her pupils wavering.

"T-thank y-you..." She croaked, looking at me more.

"Am I that handsome? You're still checking me out." I smiled, she as expected, flushed and hurriedly looked away.

It was as if nothing changed.

But of course, it had.

Kyran glared daggers at her.

Evelyn ripped us away from eachother.

"No talking to the enemy." She whispered jokingly, but there was still a stern look on her face.

Funneh overheard this.

"Enemy?" She whispered, swaying as if she were going to faint.

The Funneh I knew was strong, cried often but could take insults from any old idiot.

It seemed she couldn't take it if those old idiots were her friends.

But still, she seemed more quiet now, more reserved.

A mere shadow of her former self.

She'd changed drastically.

But haven't we all?

Kyran held her arm tightly so that she wouldn't fall.

Out of the corner of my eyes, I saw Evelyn's gaze become more grave.

Mentally, I was wiggling my eyebrows at her reaction, but outwards I had an indifferent look.

Kyran let go of her arm roughly.

Funneh gazed at Kyran as if she couldn't believe her eyes.

"What happened to you, Ky...?" She asked timidly.

"I should ask the same. Once, a reliable friend with a wicked sence of humour to a pampered princess who relishes destroying anyone who gets in her way, especially people who are close with her." He replied curtly, his eyes blazing with anger.

Her eyes watered again.

"Kyran, you know that's not who I am..."

"Do I now?" He asked mockingly.

Evelyn looked proud but pitying at the same time.

"Ky, cut it out. She'll start crying. We don't want to be the bullies who beat her to the brink of death." She mocked.

Funneh's eyes widened further.

She turned to me and grabbed my sleeve.

"Is this who you think I am?" She inquired desperately, clearly expecting comfort.

I stared at her sunken blue eyes that used to be filled with happiness and humour, sparkling like the ocean.

They were grey now, devoid of colour and joy.

"What else would I think of you?" I said honestly.

"B-but you guys were my friends!" She cried.

Evelyn slapped her hand away from mine.

"Key word being, were." She hissed. "You turned on Alec. You caused him so much pain. I can't believe you claimed to of loved him."

Funneh turned to me, despite tears flowing from her eyes she said something to me.

"You have some great friends." She whispered.

"We have some great friends." I corrected.

She looked at me hopefully.

"What are you here for?" Kyran repeated.

"I wanted to be friends with you all..."

Evelyn and Kyran raised their eyebrows.

"After everything?"

"Really?"

"Why..."

We all said simultaneously.

Evelyn looked affronted.

Kyran looked like he would kill a bitch.

I just felt confused.

Words left my mouth before I could process.

"Funneh..." I said her name soflty.

Her attention went to me.

"I don't ever want you to feel lonely." I started.

"Do you have some current friends?" I asked, she nodded.

I smiled at her.

"Great. It'll be a weird learning curve for us to be friends again but I'm sure we can learn." I said.

She gave me a very hopeful smile.

She looked as if a huge weight had been lifted from her shoulders.

Her eyes sparkled in a similar way they had used to.

Of course this wouldn't be perfect, she still wasn't forgiven but we'd work through it.

We could all have a fresh start-

"No." Said two cold voices.

"Alec after everything she did to you?" Aly cried.

"Funneh, after everything he did to you?" Gold yelled.

My sister and ex friend turned to face eachother.

"Exuse me?" They said in unison.

Gold crossed her arms and Aly lowered her bag and narrowed her eyes.

And that's when the fight broke out.
