JULIAN WAS DRESSED IN HIS green Scouts cape as he hopped onto his horse and set off for the gate. Today, the Survery Corps will make it's way through Wall Maria in hopes of finding new information.

His horse was behind Hange's as he galloped through the city with his squad right behind him. Of course, like normal, townspeople gathered and rooted for them to kick Titan ass. Julian gave the townspeople around them a wave as they let out a roar of excitement.

"That's Section Commander Julian!" Julian heard a trainee say to their friend next to them. "I heard it's really hard to get into his squad!"

"Who knew I had admirers?" Julian thinks to himself.

However, he knew this wouldn't last long. They would cheer for the Scouts when they left. By the time they came back, they would spat hateful words and show signs of pity.

It was a neverending cycle. One that Julian absolutely hated.

"It's Captain Levi!" Another squeaked. "They say he's like an entire brigade unto himself!"

"...Shut up." Levi mumbled in response, making Julian chuckle.

"Now, now, Levi. Is that how you treat one of your admirers?" He questioned as Levi's eyes fell onto him.

"If they knew how fussy you are, they wouldn't look at you with such admiration." Hange agreed with Julian and advised Levi to look a little happier for his admirers. Julian watched as the gate opened to give them access back to the outside world.

"The Titans are right outside... What kind of Titan will we see this time?" Hange questioned with excitement. "It'll be so great if we saw an Abnormal!"

"We have one right here." Levi mumbled.

"Huh? Where?" Hange looked around as Julian laughed, knowing what was coming. Levi pulled Hange's hair to have them face him.

"Right here." He replied. Julian laughed as soon as Hange stared at him.

"You're supposed to support me, not laugh at me!"

"It's not my business. So why bother?" Julian questioned with a laugh as Hange let out a gasp.

"So rude, Julian!" Hange pouted.

"Forward!" Erwin spoke to his Regiment the moment the gates were fully open, and thus, Julian took off outside of the walls once more. His horse galloped through the open space as Julian took a deep breath.

"I'll never get tired of this." Julian mumbled with a small smile.

"Mhm! The outside world is fantastic and beautiful, full of mystery." Hange agreed. "But you know what would be even better?"

"...Capturing a Titan?" Julian asked with a dead panned look.

"Hah... Julian, you know me so well." Hange took a breath and gave him a smile. Levi gave a sigh of annoyance, which caught Hange's attention

"Imagine having a Titan in the walls! Kyaahhhh~!"

"They're doing it again..." Julian muttered as he sighed.

"Are you really that surprised?" Levi questioned as Julian snorted. "Hey, Jude. Don't die on me."

"He must still be thinking about that conversation we had yesterday." Julian thought. "I won't. I promise." He told him as Erwin set the troops to the Wall.

Julian swung through the broken-down houses and went to the Titan's head for the nape. His gear ran towards the nape as he slashed the Titan dead. He headed towards another Titan and killed that one as well. He glanced over to see some of his cadets doing their job, some even teaming up to take down a titan.

This was one of the main reasons why Julian loved being apart of the Survey Corps. He was doing something to change humanity. He swung himself back to his squad and made the finishing blow to the Titan.

"Thanks, Section Commander." One of his cadets said as Julian just nodded at them.

"Let's go further, see what we're up against." Julian ordered as headed forward with his squad following behind him. He looked around to see more Titans, about five of them.

"Five more Titans, three in the east, two in the north!" Zach informed.

"Zach, Mel, Ida." Julian glanced at three of them. "You take the north. Will, Lyon, come with me to the east."

His squad nodded as Zach, Melody, and Ida went to the north while Julian, William, and Lyon went directly for the Titans in the east.

There was a tactic on what Julian, William, and Lyon always did when there was more than one Titan in their radar. Lyon gets the eyes of each Titan, William gets one of the legs, and Julian slices the napes of each one.

Julian called it the 'No Face.'

Hange seemed to like the name. Levi didn't really care and neither did Erwin.

"No Face." Julian muttered as Lyon and William did what they were supposed to do. Julian did the same, and felt the Titan's blood splatter against his cloak and the screams of the titans. All three of them collapsed as Julian landed on the ground.

"The titans in the north are dead." Zach informed as he came in with Melody and Ida following him.

"My, isn't the sound of a Titan falling to the ground music to your ears?" Julian asked with a smirk.

"Not really..."

"I love the feeling of my blades slashing against their napes. Ah, what a rush of adrenaline." Julian continued as he did a slashing motion with his blade.

"Section Commander..." Lyon sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose.

"Did I mention I love my job?" Julian asked as he chuckled.

"You're a sadist, Section Commander." Zach commented.

"Why thank you." Julian smiled at Zach.

"I see you're having fun." Julian heard Erwin chuckle. He turned and laughed at him.

"I love what I do, is that bad?" Julian questioned.

"No, but unfortunately, I'm gonna have to cut this expedition short." Erwin replied.

"Eh? That's new, how come?" Julian asked as he watched Erwin's skin turn pale. He watched as his face grew stern and serious. He was never serious unless something horrible happened.

"...It happened again." Erwin answered. Julian froze up in place, knowing what he was talking about.

"Don't tell me... Wall Rose has been breached?" Julian's body was shaking at this point. Erwin blinked, he looked shocked to see his reaction. The face told him that it was a possibility.

"I hope not, a swam of Titans moving north is bearing down on the city in Trost District. Something's happening there." Erwin shook his head. Julian turned pale.

"Find Levi and inform him, I will catch up with you soon." Erwin commanded as Julian nodded his head before turning to his squad.

"Let's go." He ordered before jumping onto his horse that Erwin gave him and took off to find Levi. He finally found him. He saw Levi and Petra hovering of what looked like a wounded soldier.

"Levi!" Julian pulled his horse to a stop. Levi looked at him.

"What?"

"We're pulling back." Julian informed as Petra stood up.

"Right now?" She asked.

"Yes."

"Pulling back? We have yet to push ourselves to the limit." Levi wasn't too happy. "Are my men dying for nothing?" His gaze darkened. Julian clenched the reins of his horse.

"A swarm of Titans are running around in the city, over in Trost District." Julian informed as he watched Petra turn pale.

"Y-You don't mean..."

"It's deja-vu..." Julian nodded his head. "...It's just like what happened five years ago. Now come on, Erwin's waiting." Julian turned his horse before running back to the supply station for the fall back.

The route back was full of anxiety. Julian felt without the Survey Corps, Trost District will witness the same thing that happened with Shiganshina. Julian charged forward and the entire ride back was silent.

"Should you see any Titan in the city, anniliate them." Erwin instructed.

The more they got closer to the city, the more the atmosphere changed. Julian felt as though something was wrong, and he was correct.

Titans were crawling all over Trost District, there was a huge hole.

Trost District had been breached.

Anger wield up inside of Julian. "My hometown..." He thought. "Oh, shit! Jean!"

"Lyon! I'm leaving you in charge!" Julian shouted at his second-in-command who just blinked at him. Julian activated his gear and charged forward.

"Section Commander!" Zach shouted.

"Damn. He's always so reckless." Levi activated his gear and followed Julian.

"All Scouts, charge!" Erwin screamed as the Scouts charged towards the Titans. Julian went ahead and killed two Titans in a row. Titans tried to grab him but he sliced their fingers, trailed to their arms, and sliced their eyes. Julian hopped onto the head of one of the Titans.

"Don't worry, monster. Your life will be over soon." Julian mumbled before lifting himself up in the air and cutting the Titan's nape. Julian lost count of how many Titans he killed, even teaming up with Levi on a few of them.

Julian landed on one of the houses, spotting a few cadets. "Cadet Springer!" Julian shouted, making the bald headed cadet flinch at his voice.

"Y-Yes, sir?"

"Where's Jean?"

"I believe he's over there." Connie replied, pointing to where a swarm of Titans is surrounding the headquarters supply room.

"Shit..." Julian mumbled. He said his thanks to Connie before speeding over towards the headquarters supply room.

Julian used his gear to spring up as he used his blades to cut a Titan's nape, sending him to the ground.

He suddenly spotted an Abnormal that had punched a Titan and sent it flying back. "What the hell? A Titan fighting its own kind?" Julian thought.

He landed into the supply room and sees Jean looking stunned. Julian rushed over to him and hugged him.

"Nii-san, you're covered in Titan blood." Jean said in disgust.

"Sorry, sorry." Julian laughed, releasing his younger brother before putting a hand on his shoulder. "I'm just glad you're all right."

The Abnormal continued to fight off Titans. Mikasa, Armin, and Connie showed up. "The abnormal is helping us." Connie explained.

"A Titan helping humanity? Well, you don't see that everyday." Julian mumbled as Connie hummed in agreement.

The trainees were able to resupply as Mikasa and Armin go to observe the rampaging Titan. Julian joined his brother, Reiner, Bertholdt and Annie as they are greeted by the sight of the Titans eating the abnormal.

"I better go regroup with my squad. Jean, stay out of trouble, will you?" Julian told his brother.

"I will."

Julian took off and soon enough regrouped with his squad. "Section Commander, you're okay." Zach greeted.

"Jean?" Lyon questioned.

"Safe." Julian answered as Lyon just nodded in relief. Hange and Levi soon joined them. "You guys wouldn't believe what we discovered." Hange said.

"What is it?" Julian asked.

"The hole in Trost District was closed shut." Levi responded.

"But that's impossible." Julian said.

"The wall is huge. How was someone able to close the wall?" Lyon then asked.

"It was closed... by a Titan."

Julian blinked as the rest of his squad stiffened. "How can a Titan close the wall?" He questioned.

"Someone can turn into a Titan." Hange replied with a stern face. "...and he closed the hole."

"H-Hold on." Julian shook his head in disbelief. "You're telling me, that someone has the capability of turning into a Titan?"

"You heard correctly." Hange nodded their head.

"And this person gained control of their powers and sealed the hole in Trost District?" Zach asked as Levi nodded.

"And this person didn't do the same for Wall Maria because?" Julian asked with his eyebrow raised.

"We just found the dude." Levi looked at him.

"And who is it?" Julian asked.

"Eren Yeager." Levi replied as Julian paled.

"Sorry... who?" Julian questioned.

"Eren Yeager." Levi repeated with an eyebrow raised.

"Do you know him?" Hange asked.

"H-He's that boyβ€”" Julian gulped again and started to shake. "I... met him a couple of times. He's a titan shifter or whatever you call it?"

"How do you know him?" Hange questioned.

Everything around Julian turned into a haze. He couldn't believe it. Eren had the power to turn into a Titan whenever he felt like it? The boy was the same age as his brother for god's sake!

"Jude!" Julian snapped to reality when Levi was in front of him with his hands on his shoulders. "Snap out of it."

"...I knew that boy since he was young." Julian whispered. Levi leaned closer.

"How?"

"He was getting his ass kicked by some Garrison soldier. I stopped them and talked with him." Julian's eyes fell to the ground. "...I saw him again a couple of years later in the Training Corps."

"So you've seen the boy." Melody commented.

"I've crossed paths with him." Julian nodded and looked at Levi, his face was unreadable.

"And he didn't tell you?" Hange questioned.

"I have a feeling this kid didn't know he could turn into a Titan." Levi replied. "Doesn't matter, there will be a trial soon. He's in the Military Police custody."

Julian snorted. "Of course he is." He said.

"What does Commander want with the boy? Use him in hopes to reclaim Wall Maria?" William spoke up as Levi nodded his head.

"That's his plan. If he wins the trial, then Eren will be in Survey Corps." Levi answered.

"Huh... Is that right?" Julian crossed his arms. "Is he squealing like a little boy?"

"Pardon?" Levi turned to him with a raised eyebrow.

"You're pardoned." Julian snickered, patting his mentor's shoulder. "When is the trial?"

"In a few days." Hange replied.

"Poor kid... He must be scared and confused out of his mind." Ida said.

"Probably because of the stupid Military Police." Julian rolled his eyes.

"S-Section Commander!" Lyon stuttered.

"You know it's true." Julian informed. "Lord knows why Marcus decided to join such a corrupted branch."

"To ease the tension..." Hange began. "I got the advantage to take 2 abnormals!"

"You're joking..." Julian blinked with shock.

"I don't joke about this, Julian!" Hange exclaimed. "I am going to head out to catch the abnormals soon!"

"Ignore Section Commander here. I'm proud of you, Hange." Melody said.

"Why thank you, Melody." Hange stated. "I am actually heading out to get them later today, how exciting!"

"Section Commander, it's time to head out." Moblit came into view.

"Well, it's time for me to head out and get what I want. Until we meet again~" Hange waved and walked with Moblit.

Julian chuckled. "What are you laughing about?" Levi asked him.

"I was just trying to figure out how they managed to convince Erwin to capture Titans." Julian responded. "So many good scenarios came up in my head."

"I think we should be focusing on the trial at hand, Jude." Levi looked at him and then sighed. "Now get inside, we have to prepare for what's in hand soon. It's going to be a long week."

»»————-γ€€β˜…γ€€β€”β€”β€”β€”-««

The capture was a success. Hange managed to capture 2 abnormal Titans. Who they named Sawney and Bean.

"I'm not surprised that Hange named them." Julian crossed his arms.

"What else did you except from them?" Levi asked as Julian looked at him with a smirk.

"What did you think I expected?" He then questioned. Levi then punched his arm.

"I don't know what's worse..." Julian laughed. "What I thought or that you knew it's aβ€”"

Levi punched his arm again, causing his laughter to increase. Hange looked over to them. "What's so funny?" They asked.

"Nothing." Both Julian and Levi said in unison.

Erwin was busy prepping for the trial, and Julian was trying to not make everyone so tense. Hange appreciated it, so did both Julian's and Levi's squad.

But as for Levi, Julian was unsure. His eyes flickered over to him. "That man is so unreadable. I can never tell what he's thinking." Julian thought.

"Your staring too long, Section Commander." Lyon whispered.

"S-Shut up! I wasn't staring!" Julian stuttered before huffing in annoyance and walking away.

Lyon chuckled, looking over to the rest of his squad members. "I don't know, Ly. I think your theory is wrong." Zach stated.

"When have I ever been wrong, Zach?" Lyon asked him. "I'm telling you, Section Commander has a thing for Captain Levi, and all of you are going to owe me some big-time money when they get together. The same goes for Eld, Oluo, Gunther, and Petra."

"Ah, if they get together." Zach argued. "And you got his squad in on this too?"

"Of course I did." Lyon snickered. "I'm going to be rich!"

Ida snorted. "Julian already told us that he doesn't have feelings for Levi. It's just respect." She informed.

"First of all, don't address the Section Commander so inproperly. Second of all, we all know why you don't want to participate in Lyon's bet because you love him. We also know that the only reason you got on this squad is because Section Commander took pity on you." William said.

"Shut it, William." Zach warned. "You know he accepted us on his squad because of our skill."

"Maybe for the rest of us, but you remember what happened during Ida's test. Section Commander had to save her ass. She doesn't belong in this squad. I won't be surprised if she dies on the next expedition." William said before walking off.

"Ignore him. He's always like that." Zach sighed. "He's right about one thing though. You shouldn't let personal feelings get in the way. Not to mention Julian is demisexual (1) and prefers men."

Ida didn't reply as she stayed silent, thinking about things.

A/N: Another chapter is done! Thanks for reading!

(1) Demisexual: people who only feel sexually attracted to someone when they have an emotional bond with the person. They can be gay, straight, bisexual, or pansexual, and may have any gender identity.

Figured I should add the definition to demisexual since people may not know what it means.

Word Count: 3082 words.
