19 ᯾ Hell of Mirrors ᵖᵃʳᵗ ᵗʷᵒ
"... You are so hopeless."
In a flash, the figure managed to destroy the mannequins and the hands which held Y/n. The girl quickly looked at the person who had saved her before falling on the floor.
"Hanako—" she cut herself off upon seeing the person's outfit. Her eyes widened when realizing who it was. It was the very person she wanted to avoid at all times.
"Hey. What are you doing?" Tsukasa held number three by his neck. "Picking on things weaker than you?"
"I would ask you, what are you doing?!" Number three exclaimed as he looked at Tsukasa in shock. "Who are you? How dare you come into my boundary and disregard my rules?!"
Tsukasa didn't reply as he stared blankly at the bird-like creature.
The next thing Y/n knew, she saw the boy slamming number three's head on the floor. He continued smashing it to the floor, not even bothering to listen to the school mystery's cries and pleas.
This just proves it... Y/n looked at the boy sharply. Tsukasa is stronger than a school mystery at its boundary...
"Aw.. I broke the mirror..." The boy then turned around, his orange eyes making contact with Y/n's E/c ones. He then walked towards the girl and crouched infront of her.
"Are you still alive?"
What?
Y/n sweat dropped as she gave Tsukasa a nod. "Yes..."
"That's good." Tsukasa chuckled as he looked down at Y/n's outfit. "Even in your apparition form, you're still as weak as ever, Y/n-chan~"
He then stood up, giving the girl one last look before walking over to the boy. "Anyway. Mitsuba."
He knows Sousuke?! Y/n turned around to see Tsukasa leaning towards Sousuke.
"You're such a bad boy. You can't do anything by yourself, can you?" Tsukasa then patted the boy's head, trying to comfort Sousuke. "There, there."
What in the world is going on... Y/n stared at the two with her brows furrowed. Is Sousuke and Tsukasa having some sort of alliance? If so, then this problem could be bigger than I thought...
"Is..." Y/n took a glimpse at number three, who laid infront of the mirror unconscious. There was blood coming from his head, which made Y/n shiver. "Is he dead...?" the girl mumbled out.
"You know."
Y/n flinched as she heard Tsukasa speak up. She looked at the boy infront of her and watched as he walked towards number three.
"I thought I told you, Mitsuba. You can't stay in the mortal world because you're too weak and pathetic. So if you don't want to disappear, you have to work hard and get stronger."
Tsukasa crouched infront of number three as he scanned the supernatural. "Hm.. should be around here somewhere."
The boy then raised his hand out. Y/n stepped forward. "What are you—"
"And if you wanna get stronger." Tsukasa held out something. Specifically, the heart of the school mystery number three. "You have to beat up strong supernaturals and eat'em."
Y/n trembled as Tsukasa gave the two a huge smirk. His hand was filled with blood, but it wasn't his.
The boy looked terrifying. Maybe, even terrifying was an understatement.
"Isn't this fun? Did you know supernaturals have them too? Hearts, I mean."
Y/n looked in horror as Tsukasa tried to force in the heart into Mitsuba's mouth. ".. S-Stop..."
"Now, say ah!"
"Stop!" Y/n cried out as she pulled Tsukasa away from Mitsuba. The pink haired boy looked at her with teary eyes, thought that wasn't what she was worried right now.
She was more concerned for herself. The boy she had pulled away had a dark look on his face. Those dark orbs were back again, luckily, they weren't staring at Y/n.
"Senpai..."
"Y-You can't force Sousuke to eating that." Y/n took a step back as she fiddled with her fingers. At this point, she transformed back into her human form. After the events earlier, she had no energy left at all.
Tsukasa didn't reply, instead, he stood up and went towards Y/n.
The girl wanted to step away, but somehow, her body wasn't following her orders. Run away! She chanted in her mind, but still, she was frozen in place.
"Y/n-chan is as interesting as ever."
Tsukasa smiled as he caressed the girl's cheeks, smudging blood all over it. "I heard that your friends found out about your death! This is gonna be exciting!"
Yeah, that's right, now please, let me go home...!
"But right now, I'm busy. And you—" Tsukasa wrapped his finger's around Y/n's neck. "— are disturbing me."
"Senpai!"
"Oh, right!" Tsukasa then removed his hand from Y/n and gave the girl a smile. "I should be kind to girls! I'm gonna have to just—"
The girl fell limp into his hands. Tsukasa stared down at her blankly.
"I guess I didn't have to." He carried the girl up and went towards the side. "Don't worry, Y/n-chan! I'll try to talk to you right after this."
I don't think she would want that, Sousuke thought to himself as he watched Tsukasa stroking the unconscious girl's hair.
"Y-Y/n-chan?!" Nene quickly helped her up from the restroom floor. Somehow, Sousuke had managed to bring them back to the school. Y/n still didn't know what was going on while she was unconscious, she just woke up to see Sousuke protecting her from some falling concrete.
"Ah.. Nene-chan." Hanako and Kou didn't let Nene join them on their little adventure, they thought she would also be at risk if she'd join in.
"Y/n-chan..." Nene frowned as she hugged the girl. "You had no idea how scared I was to see you getting sucked into that mirror!" She looked at her best friend and cried. "I thought I was gonna lose you!"
"Heh..." Y/n managed to smile as she patted Nene's back in comfort. "Don't worry, Nene-chan. I'm not going anywhere..." she mumbled. "I hope..."
the next day...
"What's the matter?"
"Kou-kun looked really down after that incident." Y/n looked down at her textbook, trying to ignore the fact that Hanako was literally standing on top of her table. "And can you get down from there?"
"Eh..." Hanako frowned as he went down and floated beside Y/n's seat. "Y/n-chan.. why are you even thinking about Kou right now?"
Hanako then wrapped his arms around Y/n. The girl flinched at the sudden contact. She couldn't turn around, if she would, then the people sitting behind her would all stare at her in confusion.
She remained still. Though her face was definitely red.
"Hanako-kun...?"
"Since you came from the mirror, I've been really lonely too." Hanako leaned closer to Y/n. "Haven't you been feeling lonely?"
Is this... Y/n's eyes widened as she covered her face with a book. IS THIS WHAT THEY CALL FLIRTING?!
"Hanako-kun..." Y/n mumbled as she looked away from the boy. "I think you already know this... But I'm in class right now.." she gave the boy a quick glare. "Let's talk about this later..."
"Hmph."
Hanako pouted as he held Y/n's hand. The girl looked at him confused. "E-Eh?"
"I've been worried too..." It was evident that Hanako was flustered. His face was probably as red as Y/n's at this point.
"Hanako-kun?" The boy let go and turned around. He floated behind her and started messing around with Y/n's hair.
You know what, I'm listening to sensei. Y/n grumbled before writing down the notes on her notebook. She tried to catch up to where the lesson was already. Fortunately, she was still able to keep up with her teacher.
"It's done." Hanako held out a mirror for Y/n to check out her newly made hairstyle.
"Hanako-kun.." Y/n's eyes sparkled as she looked at herself in the mirror. "How did you learn how to make such beautiful buns?"
That's right. Hanako had tied back Y/n's hair into a bun. Though, he left some strands out to frame the girl's face perfectly.
Hanako shrugged as he leaned on Y/n's table. "Practice."
"Wow..." Y/n looked down at her notebook. "Hm... I'll try to practice this hairstyle then..." She then looked once again at Hanako with a brow raised.
"Though, out of all hairstyles, why this one?"
"Hm?" Hanako hummed. "You look good in it."
"Yashiro is also lost in her thoughts." Hanako and Y/n looked at the girl, who was mixing the batter while staring into nothing but thin air.
"Nene-chan is also pretty close to Kou-kun, I'm sure, she also has him in mind," Y/n said as she went to the side to look for the rest of the ingredients. "Did the Mokkes take the sugar...?"
"Here."
"Thanks." Y/n smiled before turning around. There, she saw Akane, his hand held out to give the girl the bag of sugar. "Hm? You aren't wearing your glasses?"
"Oh, number one."
"I thought I sensed someone perverted around Ao-chan." Akane smiled as Hanako gave him a grin. Somehow, the two looked like they were best friends or something.
"I heard you talking about Yashiro-san." Akane gazed at the ombré-haired girl. "She looks pretty out of it from what I'm seeing."
"Yeah.." Y/n frowned as she added some sugar into the batter before mixing it once again. "I was thinking of a way to cheer both her and Kou up."
"Hm..." Akane looked at the side where the posters were pasted. "Then you should recommend them that."
Y/n looked at what he was pointing at, there, she saw the summer festival poster. "Oh, right! I was also planning to go with the Minamotos'." The girl nodded as she laid out a plan. "I'll just tell them that I can't go and Nene-chan can replace me!"
"Eh?" Akane crossed his arms as he raised a brow at the girl. "It's okay if you go, but once you arrive, make sure you leave those two alone."
"Ah." Y/n smiled. "So they would go on like, some kind of date or something?"
"Date?"
"That's right. And you could also go with the student council president and his sister."
"WHAT?" The two students looked at Hanako in confusion. The boy looked like he was at the verge of yelling. "Hanako-kun, are you okay?"
"So you're gonna leave Y/n-chan with the older Minamoto?!" Hanako frowned. "It would also look like they're going out on a date!"
"Tiara-chan is coming with us, Hanako-kun..." Y/n sweat dropped.
"Heck! You guys would look like a family!"
"Number Seven." Akane looked away as he snickered. "I can't believe that the school mystery number seven is thinking such thoughts."
"But Hanako-kun, it would be rude to let Minamoto-san and Tiara-chan roam around the festival aimlessly while Kou-kun and Nene-chan are having the time of their lives..."
Hanako grumbled as he looked at the girl, who was now focused on the batter she was making.
"Honorable number seven." Akane looked at the boy with a brow raised. "Are you mad about something?"
Hanako looked away.
"No... It's nothing."
In the
SC office.
"President."
The two other people in the room looked at Akane. The red head sneered at the girl. "What? Are you the president of the Student Council now?"
"I will be soon." Y/n rolled her eyes to do the paperwork that they had lent her. Akane snickered before looking at Teru.
"Anyway, President. You're going to the summer festival with Y/n-chan, right?" Akane asked as he placed his files to the side. Teru raised a brow before nodding.
"That's right. You can also come with us, Aoi. Maybe you should bring Akane-san." Akane looked at Teru in admiration before shaking away his thoughts and focused on what he was going to say.
"You see, maybe Y/n-chan can't some for this year..."
"Eh?" Teru instantly looked at Y/n with his eyes wide. "Is that true, L/n-san? Are you going to break our record of always attending the summer festival for three years straight?"
Y/n sighed as she held the boy's shoulder in comfort.
"I'm sorry, Minamoto-san. But what Akane-kun said was indeed the truth."
The boy gasped as he scooted away from Y/n.
"This is because of number seven, isn't it?" Y/n looked away from Teru. After all, he was right. "This is why I had a part of me which wanted you to stay away from him. It was to be expected that you'd grow close to him."
Teru sighed as he looked down at his paperwork. "Do as you wish, L/n-san. Just don't do anything you'll regret in the future."
Y/n blinked as she looked away from Teru, holding back the smile which was threatening to come out.
"Thanks, Minamoto-san."
"Eh? So you aren't going to the festival after all?"
Y/n shook her head as she gave Hanako a smile. "No. Maybe I'll try to spend the festival here, I'm curious to see how the whole school would look like at night."
"Eh?" Hanako wrapped his arms around Y/n. "You think that would be the only thing you'd do here? Y/n, you gave up your summer festival to come here and spend time with me, didn't you?"
"Yes...?"
Hanako smirked. "Then I'll make sure that this festival will be the best one you've ever had," he said before standing up. "On the night of July seventh, let's meet at Misaki's Stairs."
"Only the two of you?" The Mokke looked at the two with curiousity, their eyes sparkling as they anticipated for their answer.
"That's right, only the two of us," Hanako cooed as he held Y/n's hand.
"So it will be like a date?"
The two flinched at the sudden questions. All the Mokkes started jumping around, repeating the question like a recorder.
"Date? Date? Date?"
Y/n chuckled as she looked at Hanako, ignoring the fact that her face was beet red.
"Then sure, it's a date~!"
