HEAD INJURY
"𝗂'𝗏𝖾 𝗀𝗈𝗍 𝗍𝗈 𝖿𝗂𝗇𝗂𝗌𝗁 𝗍𝗁𝗂𝗌 𝗆𝗂𝗌𝗌𝗂𝗈𝗇."
—TAKING HER HELMET OFF, ALEXANDRIA STEPPED OFF OF HER NEW MOTORCYCLE, WHICH WAS A GIFT FROM DOLOHOV, MULCIBER, AND BARTY. "Ready?" She turned around, looking at the boy— who was also stepping off of his own motorcycle, which he had gotten from Narcissa.
Draco nodded, pulling a dagger out of his shoe. "Let's do this."
"Malfoy, you do know we're literally going to assassinate a whole office?"
He nodded, not fazed. "Yeah, of course I know. Why?"
"One dagger won't be enough," she rolled her eyes as if it was obvious. "There will be at least 9 people in there. You can't kill them all with one dagger."
"And how many do you have?"
Alexandria pulled out two daggers from her shoes. "Two."
Draco gave her a look. "And that's enough?"
"Says the blond with one dagger, 'ready' to kill a whole office filled with people," shot back Alexandria.
He nodded. "Fair enough."
♡
"What was that?" asked Alexandria as soon as something started beeping when they had tried to sneak in.
Draco groaned. "Alarm system."
She glared at him. "Why didn't you say anything before?!"
"I didn't know!" He immediately defended himself.
Alexandria didn't have time to reply as the door suddenly slammed open and 5 cops rushed in— all holding guns.
She immediately threw both of her daggers at two cops, while Draco did the same with another cop— whom were now dead.
And surprisingly, the two teenagers got in a muggle fight with the remaining two cops.
Alexandria didn't make a noise when she was pushed backwards, hitting her head hard on the ground.
This was an advantage for her as she could grab the daggers out of the dead cops' bodies— which she did and killed the two remaining cops.
She was left panting on the ground, the world starting to spin around her.
Something was dripping from her head, which she noticed and touched— wanting to know what it was.
Blood.
"Shit," a voice grabbed her attention, making her look up.
Draco took his shirt off and rushed over to her, putting his shirt around her head in an attempt to stop the bleeding. "You're alright. You're ok."
"I know that," huffed the girl, trying not to stare at his shirtless form. "I don't need your help."
"Just accept it!" exclaimed Draco angrily, but he didn't move, still holding the shirt to her head. "Why are you so stubborn, Alexandria?! I'm just trying to help you!"
Alexandria blinked, slightly shocked at his outburst.
She became quite, staring at his face.
Draco, being too busy with her bleeding, didn't notice this.
Her eyes moved from his grey eyes to his lips, which she immediately looked away at. "Are you done, yet?" She asked.
"We should get you back to the manor. The bleeding isn't stopping—"
Alexandria stood up suddenly, not listening to him. She grabbed her head in an attempt to stop the fact that everything was spinning even more, but her stubbornness didn't let her accept his offer. "No. I've got to finish this mission."
"I'm sure your father won't mind you sitting this one out. Especially when you're hurt."
"Please, Malfoy." Her vulnerability was suddenly shown. "I've got to finish this mission. Or I'll be feeling like a failure for the rest of the summer."
"A failure?" repeated the boy with a frown.
"Can we just finish this damn mission?!"
"Only if you let me take care of your head afterwards."
She nodded, a bit reluctant. "Fine."
♡
"You cannot be serious!" exclaimed Draco a few hours later when they were finally done with their mission. "You're not driving that thing with a bleeding head."
Alexandria, who was about to step onto her motorcycle, frowned. "What am I supposed to do, then? Leave it here?"
"We'll leave mine," he immediately said, putting on his helmet and sitting down on her motorcycle, patting the back. "I'm driving."
"But yours—"
"I'll be back for it." He cut her off, looking at her. "Now, let's get you back to your manor."
She shook her head with a sigh. "Father will be furious that I got hurt. He'll most likely kill you or something."
Draco rolled his eyes, turning the motorcycle on. "Do as I say for once."
"Draco, I will not—"
"Did you just call me by my first name?"
She blinked. "What?"
"You just called me Draco."
"Yeah, that's your name." She rolled her eyes.
"It's only ever been Malfoy to you."
"Whatever, Malfoy—"
"Call me Draco."
Alexandria rolled her eyes again— something which was common around him. "Fine, Draco. Take me somewhere, just not home."
He nodded as she sat down behind him, arms around his waist.
"Oh, and Draco?"
Draco hummed questioningly.
"Call me Alexandria."
"No," he turned around. "I'm going to be giving you a new nickname."
Her lips quirked upwards. "I have dozens of nicknames. You cannot come up with something original."
"Want to bet?"
"Sure. 10 galleons."
"I was thinking more like a kiss."
Alexandria's eyes widened. "Are you sure you didn't hit your head, too? Because it seems like you hit it— rather hard, might I add."
Draco chuckled— the noise making Alexandria's stomach feel tingly. "So, no bet, princess?"
"Fine. But only because I doubt that you could come up with something original."
♡
"A muggle hotel?" groaned Alexandria half an hour later when they had reached their destination— which was indeed a muggle hotel.
Draco— who was now wearing a shirt he had stolen, which Alexandria didn't even notice— stepped off of the motorcycle, nodding. "C'mon. Let's go."
She frowned when he held her hand in an attempt to catch her if she fainted suddenly— something she knew wouldn't happen, but she didn't try to stop the boy from holding her hand.
♡
As soon as the two reached their hotel room for the night, Alexandria was immediately starting to get taken care of by Draco.
"If only you had let me take you to a hospital instead," mumbled the boy, looking.. worried?
"They would've called my father or your parents, and you know how Lucius doesn't keep his mouth shut around my father— wanting to please him about all of his 'accomplishments'."
Draco noted the sarcasm in her voice, but did nothing to defend his father, mostly because he knew she was saying the truth.
He put a towel in warm water, then put it on her head.
Her head had stopped bleeding, but it still hurt.
Alexandria wouldn't be surprised if it was broken or something, but she knew a simple spell would fix it. Unfortunately, she was just not ready to face her father about this yet.
"Done," said Draco 10 minutes later, putting away the towels and laying down on the bed next to hers. "How do you feel?"
"Much better. Thanks."
"Anytime—" he turned the lights off and looked at her, but she was too busy staring at the wall to notice. "Goodnight."
"Night, Draco."
