BIRTHDAY NIGHT
"𝗂 𝗁𝖺𝗏𝖾 𝖺𝗇 𝗂𝖽𝖾𝖺."

—THE NEXT FEW WEEKS PASSED AND ALEXANDRIA AND DRACO HAD BEEN SENDING LETTERS BACK AND FORTH, BUT THEY HADN'T SEEN EACH OTHER EVER SINCE THE NIGHT SHE HAD GOTTEN HER TATTOO. Well, more specifically, the last time they saw each other was a month ago as it was now July 31st; Alexandria and Harry's birthday.

"I have an idea," said Harry as he walked into Alexandria's bedroom.

"You forgot to knock," his sister pointed out, not looking up from the book in her hands.

"Sorry," Harry said, not looking apologetic at all. "Anyways, we want you to spend time with us."

"We?" She finally looked at him. "What do you mean by we?"

Harry grinned. "Sirius, Remus, and I."

"You brought her. Wonderful!" exclaimed Sirius, looking excited.

"Padfoot, stop acting like a child and bring me the baking supplies," said his husband, walking into the kitchen.

"In a second," said Sirius.

Alexandria frowned in confusion. "What's going on?"

"Happy birthday, Lexie. You too, Harry." Remus said with a smile. "Anyways, we're spending tonight together by making cookies and playing boardgames with snacks. Just us. Are you in, Lexie?"

"Sure," shrugged the girl.

"Why are you wearing a sweater in this hot weather? And whose is it?" Sirius asked in suspicion.

"What do you mean? It's mine," replied his goddaughter innocently.

"Padfoot, get the bowl and other baking supplies. Harry, help him out, will you?" repeated Remus.

Harry nodded at Remus' words and grabbed his godfather's hand, walking to the other side of the kitchen.

Meanwhile, Alexandria sat down on the counter, right next to where Remus was standing. "What's with that look on your face, Rem?"

"What're you hiding?" Remus asked immediately.

"Nothing," she shook her head, pursing her lips at his look. "Don't you trust me?"

"No."

"Oh," she accidentally let out a small laugh, then covered it with a cough. "I'm not hiding anything, Rem."

He looked at her in suspicion, but didn't say anything.

"I win!" exclaimed Sirius, turning back from his animagus form, putting the baking supplies in front of his husband and giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"Because you're an animagus!" Harry exclaimed. "That's cheating!"

Sirius shrugged. "You could've been one, too, but you're lazy."

Harry rolled his eyes.

A few minutes later, Alexandria was helping Remus with making the cookies, while Sirius and Harry were on the other side of the kitchen and were throwing chocolate chips— wanting to know who could get it in their mouth faster.

"I got one in my mouth!" exclaimed Sirius in excitement.

"We don't need to know that!" His goddaughter said.

"I meant a chocolate chip," he glared at her with no real intensity, then shook his head. "You're growing up way too fast."

She chuckled, while Harry bursted out laughing.

"What's that?" whispered Remus in shock, noticing something on Alexandria's arm.

"What?" She frowned in confusion.

He turned around, making sure his husband and godson weren't listening or noticing, then grabbed her hand and pulled her sleeve up— her tattoo now shown on display. "Lexie.."

"Don't tell my father," she said immediately.

"When did you get this?"

"That doesn't matter," she took her arm out of his hand and avoided eye contact.

"If you don't tell me, I'll be telling your father."

She glared at him, but he didn't back down. "I got it last month, okay?"

"You were almost dead last month, Alexandria."

She sighed. "I meant at the end of the month."

"Who took you?"

"That really doesn't matter—"

"Alexandria."

"I went by myself, alright? I charmed— wandlessly— my motorcycle to fly and went to London."

"And your father didn't notice?" asked Remus in shock.

"He had something to worry about," she admitted, thinking about his horcruxes.

"Can I see?" He nodded towards her covered left-forearm.

She nodded and pulled her sleeve up.

"It is cool," he admitted, giving her a look when she smiled. "but that doesn't mean it was a good idea."

"I like it. I think it's really pretty," she shrugged, looking at the snake tattoo.

"Just because you like something wrong, doesn't mean that the thing is right."

"Gosh, you act like I've killed someone," teased Alexandria, knowing damn well she had killed way more people than he ever has.

He rolled his eyes fondly and went back to baking the cookies.

"I give up," said Harry, laying down— head on his sister's lap— munching on a cookie.

"Can I have his money?" Sirius asked.

"No. That's cheating." Remus said as if it was obvious. "Lexie, it's your turn—"

"She literally fell asleep," their godson pointed out.

"Moony, how long has she been asleep?"

Remus shrugged. "No idea," he said and stood up, motioning for Harry to move— who did so reluctantly.

The other two watched as Remus held his goddaughter and walked out of the room.

"These cookies are delicious," Harry muttered.

Sirius frowned. "I could've sworn I was winning."

"Monopoly never ends, Sirius."

"I still disapprove of your tattoo, but goodnight, Lexie," said Remus, laying his goddaughter down on her bed in her room.

"I know," she opened her eyes with a grin.

He sighed. "Was there any reason you got it? And try not to lie, please."

Alexandria bit her lip anxiously and sat up. "I didn't want Draco to feel alone, so I got a tattoo on my forearm as he has the dark mark on his."

Remus' lips quirked upwards. "You like him, don't you?"

She stared at him and swallowed. "I think.. I think I'm in love with him."
