Seiyuu Academy 2: Episode Five Extra.

The Italian community requests an immediate apology.

On January 2, 2024, Seiyuu Academy 2 contestant and former soloist Han Soyul was spotted drinking a cappuccino during a live on the show's official Instagram account. Such a simple and apparently innocuous action has immediately sparked huge controversy: it turns out the live was taking place at 11:01 AM, one minute too late for her to perform such a heinous crime as reported by the show's small—but loyal and loud as ever—Italian audience.

In a time record of 3 minutes and 14 seconds, viewers and locals alike have flooded Seiyuu Academy 2's official hashtags with Tweets (or Xeets) requesting her immediate withdrawal from the show, threatening a mass-scale boycott in case of failed compliance. The hate bandwagon escalated to the point of trucks being sent in front of the show's studio, and a few viewers threatening to file police reports as well.

Mnet, the official Seiyuu Academy 2 accounts and Han Soyul herself have yet to comment on the matter.

UPDATE: January 5, 2024.

Han Soyul has finally taken on the Seiyuu Academy 2 official Twitter account and written her own statement regarding her most recent controversy.

The response to the statement has been mostly negative, as expected given Soyul's attack at her haters, although the threats have eventually slowed down and the staff has reported a few protesters outside for disturbance of peace, too.

FEVEN'S CORNER !!!

Hello everyone! This is one of the two scheduled uploads for May 26, 2025. The note is the same in both chapters, and it only applies to the appliers specifically.

I am frankly tired of chasing people around trying to get them to read the updates in time. Now, some people have warned me beforehand they'd be inactive or at least they let me know they'd read in a second moment etc.. That's fine and understandable! I don't ask you to be active 24/7. I wouldn't be either, and as impatient as I am a few hours (or even a few days if warned in advance).

Then I have people who drop a quick vote on the chapter and don't read, don't vote on the form and don't give a fuck about anything happening in the work at all; you act worried at the prospect of not making it in too — and no wonder some complained about the active check being difficult too when it was literally the most basic things aside for the last few questions. Not even just getting less points, because everyone retains information in a different way so I don't judge too much, but having the audacity to complain about it? Alright...

Everyone has a life outside Wattpad, I will never deny that. But I also think that at some point there's a line that needs to be drawn with how you can act and expect me to be understanding. I've been very clear about the time I'd need people the most, even postponing a few times because of personal circumstances. I was VERY transparent about it and you should be too, but aside from a few appliers I rarely ever get the same consideration.
