Turning towards his friends, Gon's eyes curiously gazed at them as they walked around the town and spotting a fountain, they decided to stop there.

The fountain was surrounded by a lush and beautiful garden.

'So.. what should we do now?',Gon questioned.

Going to open her mouth, Valentine's brain short circuited and she felt smoke slowly begin to bellow out of her ears as she blankly stared ahead, having no idea on what to do.

Perking up with an idea, Gon went to voice his opinion but stopped short and looked towards the ground, his eyes slowly blinking as he lost his train of thought.

Looking between his two friends, Killua was bewildered by their nonplussed reactions and he gave them a deadpanned look.

'Are you seriously asking me that!',Killua exclaimed, his tone boisterous and full of annoyance as he dug the tip of his finger into their foreheads, low shrieks of pain leaving their lips as their arms flailed around,'It's obvious. We need to start training'

Staring at the snowy-haired boy in confusion, Gon lightly blinked and his lips were parted, his face coated with question.

'For what?',Gon questioned,'Why not have fun?'

Thinking for a moment, a low hum left Valentine's lips and she heard as a confused chirp left Zeus's beak, the two of them looking towards the ground as they were lost in thought.

Soon, what Gon had said rushed into Valentine's memory and she perked up, a small noise of remembrance pushing passed her rose pink lips.

Slowly leaning closer, an eerie smile fell onto Killua's lips and Valentine's eyes widened as she slowly leaned back, her wide gaze switching between Gon and Killua.

'Do you remember what you told me about a second ago?',Killua questioned,'You think you can punch Hisoka in the face without training?'

Digging his finger into Gon's forehead, it seemed as if steam was bellowing from his mouth and the chocolate eyed boy's gaze filled with water as his eyes began to resemble that of a small, wounded dog.

'That'd take ten years! Forget about six months!'

Gently pushing herself between Killua and Gon, Valentine tried her hardest to keep the snowy-haired boy away from the innocent bean behind her as he watched the scene with teary-eyes; still upset from Killua yelling at him.

With a pouted lip, Gon watched as Killua continued to yell and try to get past Valentine, but the blonde girl only stared up at him, her eyes shining as the snowy-haired boy froze; ice and rays of the sun connected as one.

With an angered grumble, Killua picked up a stick from the ground and began to draw; pretty well-drawn, faces of Hisoka and Hanzo with a small gap between them.

'Here, I'll break it down for you. This is Hisoka and this is Hanzo'

Staring at the drawing, Gon slowly nodded and followed along with what Killua was saying.

'Right. I'm with you'

'If this is the strength gap between Hisoka and Hanzo, then the gap between you and Hisoka.. is..',Killua trailed off, beginning to walk sideways and drew a long line in the dirt.

As he continued all of the way to the end of the courtyard.

Biting down on her bottom lip, Valentine glanced at Gon out of the corner of her eye and tried to stop the noise that threatened to leave her lips at the pout on his face.

It was absolutely adorable.

'This wide!',Killua called out from the distance,'And I'm being generous!'

With his vein popping and throbbing in anger, Gon lightly glared at his friend and crossed his arms, a pout on his lips as he turned towards the blonde beside him.

A small drop of sweat formed at the base of her forehead and Valentine's eyes widened at the look in Gon's earth brown eyes, looking at the puppy-like gaze he was giving her.

'Valentineee',Gon whined and his lips quivered, causing the girl to bring her friend into her embrace and the both of them whined; one in sympathy and the other in complete and utter despair,'Okay, then, how far apart are you?'

Blinking lightly, Killua looked down at the line and placed himself slightly below Hisoka and Hanzo.

'Wow.. I'm so humble',Killua thought to himself, a cat-like smirk on his face was filled with pride as he looked at his comparison.

"Killua, don't tease Gon!"

'I'm not teasing him, I'm being honest!'

Letting out a huff, Killua walked back towards them, Gon pointed between him and Valentine.

'Okay then, how far apart are you and Valentine?'

Looking up, Valentine stopped petting Zeus and blinked in shock of being pulled into the subject so suddenly.

Humming lightly to himself, Killua looked back towards the line.

'Well, based on her abilities.. it's kind of hard to determine where she'd be, but I'd say Val's right about...',Killua deduced and went halfway down the line, drawing her face in the middle,'..here'

A low hum of thought and awe left Gon's lips and Valentine looked up at Killua, her eyes resembling that of glistening sparkles.

"You're so awesome, Killua!",Valentine exclaimed and from beside her, Gon nodded in agreement.

'You really are awesome!'

Jumping in surprise, a reddish hue painted Killua's pale cheeks and the boy hurriedly turned his head away, his hands placed on his hips.

'Knock it off alright, it's embarrassing'

A small smile twitched at Valentine's lips and her eyes softened. It was clear that Killua hid himself behind a tough shell that would barely be cracked and if it ever was, he'd never truly break through all the way.

He'd always be the adorable, tsundere personalitied boy that Valentine knew and started to grow feelings for.

Every time she was around her snowy-haired friend, her heart would pound so violently against her chest that Valentine thought it would burst through her body at any given moment and she knew that having feelings for her best friend was common most of the time.

But she didn't want to risk losing anyone again.

She wouldn't; not if she had the control to stop it and so, she wouldn't tell him her feelings in fear of losing him and his friendship.

'It's just.. I don't know how to tell the difference in strength between my opponent and me',Gon admitted.

Instead of reprimanding his friend further, Killua turned around and started walking away, his hands stuffed into his pockets.

'It doesn't really matter, dummy. I'm only estimating anyway',Killua stated, hearing as Valentine and Gon followed closely behind him,'Besides, you get the general idea, right? And with experience, your estimates will become more accurate. But the stronger someone is, the better they can hide that strength; so it's not a method that I'd recommend'

'Okay',Gon nodded,'Got it'

As they walked up to the large doors of the airport, the three slowed the speed of their walking down.

'The point is Hisoka's really strong',Killua stated,'With just six months, we're going to need to get really creative'

As the two hummed in agreement, eyes as blue as the brightest sapphire and eyes as golden as antique jewelry connected as one.

'Hey, do you guys have any money?',The albino-haired boy questioned.

Looking towards one another, Valentine bit down on her lower lip and Gon slowly shook his head.

'I'm a little low actually'

'I don't have much either..'

Looking towards the young blonde, Gon and Killua curiously gazed at her, before watching as she slowly shook her head.

"..I don't really have any"

Leaning down slightly, Killua gazed at his friends with a small smile on his face and his icy gaze locked onto a mystical one.

'There's this place where we can make ourselves some money and train at the same time',Killua explained, peering up at the two with a kind and steely gaze.

Instantly, both Gon and Valentine perked up, gazing at Killua with interest intensely burning within their eyes.

'Make money.. while training',Gon questioned.

A cat-like grin spread across Killua's lips and his piercing ice blue eyes intensely staring at the two.

'At the Heavens Arena'

Looking at one another, confused, Gon and Valentine's eyes were wide with confusion and they ever-so-slowly turned back towards the snowy-haired boy.

Tilting her head, Valentine's confused gaze locked onto Killua's confident one.

Her eyes glistened like opalescent lilies in a lake of celestial maidens cowering like a gargantuan beast compared to her beetle-leg eyelashes. If there was a god, her lush pupils would be their hideaway. The dark ropes of her hair had been threaded with cylinders of gold and strings of minute pearls; the mane surrounded a face which was fine-planed and flawless. Her eyes flooded with the tiniest kiss of sun and were encapsulated into a state of mystification flecks of gold scattered through her iris.

They were the colour of an icy lake through a broken prison wall; the color of a perfect raindrop on a blue aster; the color of a river hurrying to join the great ocean.

His eyes were a brilliant electric blue.

His gaze was sharp, as if lined with shards of glass around the edges. The calculating coldness at the center drew her in, yet they betrayed no feeling.

'The Heavens Arena?'

As their friend's soft voice echoed through their ears, the two pulled their gazes away from one another and broke off their staring, feeling as their senses buzzed with a strange sensation.

"What's that?"

'I'll explain later, but we really ought to get going now'

A gentle smile slowly pulled at his lips and Killua shook his head, running into the building without a second thought.
