Sitting at computers, the three tried to search up anywhere the Phantom Troupe could've possibly hidden or anything that could help them find them.
But they came up empty handed.
Letting out a sigh of dejection, Valentine leaned back in her seat and lifted her arms, stretching out.
'That two billion per Spider reward is pretty attractive, but.. finding them will be impossible',Killua stated.
Turning around in his chair, Killua looked between the three and watching as Valentine brought her hand up to her chin in thought, his eyebrows pulled together at the frown on her face.
But what really caught his attention, was the look glistening in her eyes.
What was she thinking?
'Yeah..',Gon said and sighed, scratching his head.
Suddenly, he shot up from his seat, causing the three to look at him and blink in surprise.
'Hey, we could ask for concrete information on the website!',Gon exclaimed,'Maybe we could even ask about the Phantom Troupe's current location. It might help, if we offered a really big reward'
Tilting her head in thought, Valentine let out a small hum and began to think Gon's plan over in her head.
It would be possible, but, the cost for that would be quite a lot.
'It's possible but, we don't have nearly enough money for that',Leorio said, stating Valentine's thoughts which caused her face to deadpan.
It was like he could read her mind and took credit for what she was thinking sometimes.
Or great minds just thought alike.
Then again, her and Leorio never had the same thought process so that thought was wrong.
'Not a problem',Gon stated and reached into his pocket.
Pulling out his Hunter's License, Gon watched as his three friends gasped in shock and their eyes widened, staring at the boy in surprise.
༺♥༻
Looking around as Gon sold his Hunters License, eyes of the goddesses glanced around the crowded room and small chirps filled Valentine's ears as Zeus looked around.
He had suggested that he'd sell it for some money so that they could find information on the Hunters website about the Phantom Troupe.
Coming back with his money, the five stared in shock at the price and looked towards Gon, chirping in shock.
100, 340, 602 million.
'That's crazy!',Leorio stated in disbelief,'You actually have the money..'
With an annoyed look on his face, Killua looked towards Gon and shook his head in disappointment.
'Idiot',Killua hissed, his eyes narrowed in annoyance,'I can't believe you actually pawned your Hunter's License. You're insane, you know that?'
Turning towards Valentine to get her thought about the situation, Killua paused when he saw the look of thought on her face as she looked towards Gon, before slowly looking towards where he had pawned off his license.
Knowing just what she was thinking, Killua quickly whacked the girl upside the head and she let out a small whine, rubbing her head as she looked up at him.
"Killua!",She whined, dragging out his name as she pouted and rubbed her head,"What was that for?"
With a deadpanned look on his face, Killua raised his hand and pointed at the girl, watching as she blinked in confusion.
'I knew exactly what you were thinking, you idiot and it's a stupid idea!',Killua barked out,'You're so easy to read'
Knowing that she was caught, a small drop of sweat fell down her temple and a nervous laugh left Valentine's lips as she rubbed the back of her head.
"Right..",She admitted.
Since Zeus hadn't attacked the boy or screeched in shock, Valentine knew that he had agreed with the silverette and thought that her idea was stupid.
Which it was.
Looking up towards Leorio, a small smile formed on Gon's face and his eyes sparkled in curiosity.
'So, what do you think we should do first?',Gon questioned.
The two ignored the bickering that was going on between Valentine and Killua, which was about to end in a few seconds.
'To start with, we should buy ourselves a Southernbees catalog',Leorio stated.

As Gon took the Southernbees catalog, the three headed towards a table and sat down as Gon began to read the book.
As usual, Valentine was laying upside down in the chair, watching as Gon continuously flipped through it, letting out a hum every now and then.
'Got it!',Gon exclaimed and pointed at a page,'Greed Island's right here!'
Leaning on the table, Valentine slowly read the words on the page and bit into her lip as she read.
'Seven total units on sale..',Leorio mumbled as he looked at the book.
'Wow, minimum starting bid is.. 8.9 billion',Killua stated,'No change there'
A large grin spread across Gon's lips as he looked at the book and looking up at him, Valentine let a small smile twitch at her lips at seeing her friend's excitement.

Walking around the city, the four were currently looking around and searching for an item with Nen aura.
Earlier on, Gon had pointed out that some items had aura and Killua had told them to bid on them. He had figured that if they had aura, then they were genuine.
Sensing something, Valentine hummed in curiosity and came to a sudden stop, turning her head to the side as she blinking with confusion.
As if it were calling to her, Valentine slowly walked towards a dagger and slowly picked it up, the blade glistening in the light.
At the handle engraved in gold was a bird that looked similar to a crane metal details with a brass finish create a stunning display on the handle of the dagger.
A coiled snake forms the guard while a crane decorates the pommel.
The metal details with a brass finish create a stunning display on the handle of the dagger and matched with a antique brown grip of the weapon.
With her head tilted to the side, Valentine slowly lifted her hand and ran her finger gently along the blade of the dagger; carefully enough to not break the skin, which caused small burst of Nen to shock her skin.
¥ 700
Seeing that there was already a bid, Valentine thought back to Killua's words and remembered to enter one that's two and a half times higher.
Suddenly, a drop of sweat fell down Valentine's head and her eyes widened as she tried to figure out the math.
Two and a half times seven hundred.
Slowly reaching forward, Valentine hesitantly wrote ¥1750 on the card and got up, continuing to look around.
Feeling Zeus gently nip at her cheek, Valentine turned her head the way he wanted her to look and feel a small burst of aura, she slowly walked forward, crouching next to another item.
This one was a mask with strange carvings.
Reaching up to pet her feathered companion on the head, Valentine crouched down and seeing that there was another bid by the Zepile person that had bid for the same item she had earlier.
¥5,000
With steam slowly coming out of her ears, Valentine thought for a while and tried to do the math in her head.
Five thousand times two and a half.
¥12,500
Continuing on, Valentine nor Zeus had found anything else since then and finally, they went to collect the items they had won.
༺♥༻
The three walked down the street with their bids in their hands and Valentine looked down at the small rectangular box.
She had won the dagger, but she hadn't won the mask.
But at least she got something and it was better than nothing.
'In the end, we won three and lost two',Killua observed.
'Yeah, they got that weird vase I found and that mask Valentine had found at the last minute',Gon stated.
'Not too bad, all things considered',Killua said,'Come on, let's take em to the auction house now'
༺♥༻
The three were now sitting on the couch in front of a rather fancy looking man and they were trying to see if they could auction the items they had gotten.
'I'm terribly sorry, but the auction house simply can't accept any additional items once the catalog has been published',The man explained,'You're too late I'm afraid'
'Can you make an exception?',Killua asked and tried to play the innocent child act,'See, we really had our hearts set out in auctioning off these items'
Trying not to blow his cover, Valentine restrained from raising an eyebrow in question and continued to look at the man in front of them.
'Hm, perhaps you might be interested in trying your luck over at the dealer's market',He replied.
Blinking in curiosity and confusion, the three simultaneously tilted their heads to the side.
"Dealer's market?"

Arriving at the dealers market, the three had made up a story before they had went in and told the man that Killua had found the items.
Looking up in wonder after examining the items, the man's mouth was dropped open and his eyes were wide.
'Oh.. You say you found these in your storehouse?',The man question, looking between the three.
Smiling sweetly, Killua agreed to the man's words and it took every ounce of self control in Valentine's body to not aww at the sight.
'Yeah!',Killua exclaimed,'And my dad said that we should sell 'em if the price was good enough!'
Deciding to keep up with the lie, both Gon and Valentine also smiled sweetly at the man.
'These are excellent pieces. Only fifty copies were printed, and yours has a single-digit serial number, not to mention an authentic autograph',The man told them,'It's worth at least 150,000'
Gasping in shock, the three turned towards one another and their eyes glistened, bright smiles on their faces.
'And look at this antique doll!',He exclaimed,'It's in great shape. Both the doll and box are pristine, which raises the value. Three hundred thousand I'd guess'
Gasping lightly, both Gon and Valentine turned towards Killua; who turned towards them at the same time, giving him smiles as he winked back at them.
'And this dagger is remarkable. The marking and designs encrusted into both the blade and this antique grip is very unique, there's only three of these blades in the entire world. I'd say.. Four hundred and fifty thousand!'
Perking up, a bright smile formed on Valentine's face and she looked towards her friend's, who smiled back at her.
'But, I'm sorry to this one isn't worth nearly as much',The man stated,'The box and statue are from different periods. The box was made recently. The statue is roughly carved and doesn't adhere to any theme. I'd say that it's only worth 1,500 Jenny'
A buzzing sensation ran through Valentine's body and knowing that he was lying, she narrowed her marigold eyes.
'Now don't worry, that's just the price as an artwork',He explained,'But the wood it's made of is actually quite valuable. I would be more than happy to make you an offer on it. Sell me the painting and doll for 820,000 and I'll throw in another 80,000 for the wood'
'So, 900,00 total?',Killua questioned and looked between Gon and Valentine,'What do you guys think?'
'Take you're time, there's no need to rush. But I doubt you're going to find a better offer from anyone else around here'
With a hum of suspicion, Valentine narrowed her eyes at the man and her gaze darkened for a moment, seeing the smallest bead of sweat fall down the side of his head.
He was definitely lying.
'In the meantime, let me analyze this and find out the exact age of the wood',He stated.
Just as he was about to go through the door, a voice spoke up and caused the man to freeze up in his spot, looking behind him.
'Stop right there!'
Turning around at the sound of someone's voice, the four blinked in confusion and pulled their eyebrows together.
Who was this.
'Put that statue down, now',He demanded.
With wide eyes the behind the counter frowned at the newcomer and asked who he was, confused as to why he had stopped him.
'Watch out, that guys a scammer',The man warned,'That's a fair price for the doll, dagger and painting, but he's lying to your face about the statue!'
Stepping back, a small drop of sweat fell down the scammer's face and his heartbeat accelerated.
'I-I'm not lying! I swear I'm not!'
'You sure about that? Because no collector would pay 80,000 for that wood!',The man exclaimed,'All you're interested in is the content of that statue!'
Perking up in surprise, the three looked between each other and let out hums of confusion.
The contents inside?
So there was something inside the statue.
'That's actually a wooden vault',The man told them, walking towards the three.
"So he's trying to scam us?"
Panic suddenly rose up within the man as the young girl's gaze locked onto him and his whole body froze, his eyes widening.
Her eyes.. they were as dark as a rusted piece of gold and streaks of darkness stretched through her iris.
These were the eyes of a killer, of someone who knew nothing but the art of murder and anger.
This innocent girl, she was the reincarnation of the devil himself.
'Around three hundred years ago, secret vaults like this were a popular way for the wealthy to evade taxes',The man explained.
'I didn't know that..',Gon mumbled.
As if someone had sensed the bloodlust leaking out of her, someone placed their hand on her shoulder and Valentine immediately snapped out of her stare down, looking towards the person.
'If it's the real deal, then there should be some sort of valuable stuffed inside',The man explained,'You planned on stealing it's contents while you were just pretending to analyze it's age!'
Seeing Killua looking at her, Valentine's lips slowly spread into a small smile and her eyes closed as she smiled at him reassuringly.
'No! No, I would never do that!'
The back doors opened and revealed a buff man and he walked towards the scammer, staring at the man beside the door.
'Do you have any proof at all that that things a genuine wooden vault?',He questioned.
'What was that?',The man beside the three spoke up.
'It's fairly obvious that the wood is over 300 years old. But all that tells us is the age of the raw material, it could've been carved recently. That's a doctoring method called a "facelift", kids'
Looking up at the man, Gon's wide eyes blinked in confusion and he furrowed his eyebrows.
'A doctoring method?'
'He means when a counterfeiter tries to trick a professional appraiser',He explained to the three,'That isn't what I'm doing. An amateur would never recognize this seam here'
Pointing to the top of the statue, he dragged his finger down the seam.
'A seam which contains a type of glue that was commonly used in that time period'
Tilting his head to the side, a large grin spread across the man's face and a crazed look filled his eyes.
'You're insisting this is a real wooden vault, are you?',He questioned.
As they continued to argue with words that Valentine didn't understand half of the time, the young girl placed her chin in the palm of her hands and placed her elbows on the table as she looked between the two men.
This was going to take a while.
Eventually the man had given up and opened the vault, causing a load of gems and other treasures to pour out.
With her eyes glistening, Valentine stared at all of the beautiful jewels and smiled slightly.
