With wide eyes, the three stared at the wall and Valentine's lips parted, a small noise; similar to a squeak, leaving her lips.

'Nen is a power that dwells within every single human person. However, at the present time, only a few are capable of using that power',Wing explained,'And because of their ability, they are treated as geniuses, leaders, psychics, sages and even super humans'

'A power that dwells within everyone?',Gon questioned, confusion masking his face.

Nodding his head, Mr. Wing kept a stoic expression.

'Yes and there are means by which to awaken this power. But only two; either slowly and carefully or by force. Zushi opted for the slow and careful path',Wing explained and Zushi smiled with pride, looking bashfully up at his teacher,'Not only was he a quick learner, but he was tireless in his training, so he was able to master Ten in a very short time. About six months'

The three gasped in shock, sweat falling down Gon and Valentine's foreheads and Killua stepped forward.

'But that's way too long!',The white haired assassin yelled out,'We need to learn Ten and pass Hisoka. And we've gotta do it before midnight!'

'Then it seems force is our only choice',Wing stated.

Stepping forward, Killua began to question Wing even more and it was clear that he was quite worried.

For if they didn't register before midnight, everything would change.

'Exactly how long it takes is up to you and how well you learn to contain your aura in that short time',Wing explained,'So let's get right to it, shall we?'

Lifting up his arm, he extended his hand towards the three and stared at them.

'I will begin my training by transmitting my aura in your direction. This is Hatsu, which you saw earlier',Wing said.

The statement caused the three to perk up in shock and they remembered when the wall had been completely shattered.

'And of course, it goes without saying that because I wish you no harm, I'll go easy on you',Wing stated and this caused the boys to tighten their fists,'But this method is still a drastic one'

Seeing where this was going, Zeus immediately took flight and landed on Zushi's shoulder, causing the boy to let out a yell of surprise, falling to the ground.

Letting out a low chirp of confusion, Zeus turned towards the boy and tilted his head, confused as to why he had fallen.

Nothing was there for him to trip over.

Watching as the hawk's beady black eyes seemed to stare into his soul, Zushi lightly gulped and stared at the girl's bird with wide eyes.

Gulping, Gon sweat slightly and stressfully furrowed his eyebrows.

'In other words, I will attempt to shock you into awakening. I will rouse your sleeping bodies with a jolt, making it so that you can perform Ten easily',Wing explained,'The reason I say sleeping is that your aura nodes are currently closed, preventing the free flow of aura. And so, you see by transmitting my aura through you, I am hoping to jolt those nodes into an open position. Under normal circumstances you would spend your time training, in meditation, learning how to sense your own aura that surrounds you, slowly and carefully allowing those nodes to fully open. Even a natural talent like Zushi here, required three months. But considering your abilities, you could've accomplished it in a week or less. All three of you'

Blinking in surprise, Valentine turned towards the boys as they let out gasps of shock and they all looked at one another, surprise coating their faces.

'Which is why it's unfortunate that we are being forced to use the drastic method',Wing stated.

'What's the problem, I thought that faster is always better, isn't it?',Killua asked, placing his hands behind his head.

Pushing up his glasses, the glass reflected the light and Wing stared at them.

'This method is a cheat and is highly frowned upon. We are skipping the proper steps',Wing stated,'If I was inexperienced or bore any malicious intent, I could kill you'

'Yeah, but you aren't inexperienced or malicious',Gon said confidently,'So, we're safe with you. Right?'

Letting out a small sigh, Wing ran his hand through his dark locks and looked down, almost like he was exhausted.

'And that's why I've been wondering, what made you decide to teach us the real Four Exercises all of a sudden?',Killua questioned, pure curiosity in his tone and he looked at the board.

'Because you are very close to getting it',Wing stated,'If you were to enter the 200th floor without any of this knowledge, you would suffer greatly'

Tilting her head in confusion, Valentine blinked in curiosity causing Zeus to do the same and seeing her expression, Wing decided to elaborate.

'You see, up there, everyone knows how to manipulate Nen. And it is customary to initiate new arrivals who are ignorant of Nen by attacking with it',The dark haired man stated,'In other words, they do what I am about to but with the necessary restraint. They do not care if people die, it's all the same to them'

With a deep frown tugging at her lips, Valentine lightly bit down on her bottom lip and her teeth dig deeply into the skin; not deep enough to pierce it, but enough to leave an indentation.

'Only those who prove they are strong enough to survive are welcomed to stay there as the chosen. They have paid a high price for the privilege',Wing explained,'That is why it's important for you to be prepared'

Extending his hand towards the trio once more, the man's dark eyes locked onto them.

'I don't expect any of that to be encouraging but through this method I believe you will awaken',Wing explained,'It is clear you have the talent and ability. Take off your jackets, face away from me and put down all of your belongings'

Placing down her backpack, Valentine placed her sweater atop of her bag and stood beside Gon. Wing had decided that the two would go first and that hadn't made the blonde's anxiety lessen.

Leaning against the back of the couch, Killua observed what Wing was doing and soon enough, he caught Valentine's eye, catching the fear lingering deep within her gaze. Eyes softening only for a moment, the snowy-haired boy gave her a reassuring nod and watched as the tension in her shoulders slowly lessened, before Valentine gave him a small, anxious smile.

Holding his hands towards their backs, Wing wasn't exactly touching them but was close enough and Valentine kept her gaze on Killua, her golden gaze never once leaving his icy eyes. The boy and Gon had grown considerably taller over the last few months and they both now towered over her smaller form.

The two could feel a kind of pressure and warmth pressing against their backs even though Mr. Wing wasn't touching them.

'Now, I'll begin'

Sharp cries left Gon and Valentine's lips at the sensation, it wasn't exactly painful but if felt more like something warming up her skin, burning it.

Feeling it stop, the two sighed out in relief and they couldn't hear as Wing called for Killua to come to him as they regained their breath.

Looking towards each other, Gon and Valentine noticed the white layer covering one another, but they could still see each other through it, causing them to smile at one another.

Hearing Killua let out a few yells, Valentine sharply turned her head and worry filled her veins.

Once he was done, a white layer covered his body as well and Valentine blinked in surprise, still in shock from seeing her and Gon's aura.

'And now, every Aura Node in your body has been opened',Wing stated.

Turning towards Wing, they all looked up at him and listened as he continued to explain.

'That, gentlemen and young lady, is your aura, also known as life energy',Their teacher explained,'You can see it now, because the nodes in your eyes were also opened'

Looking down at his hands, Gon's lips parted in shock and awe.

'It almost looks like.. steam rising off the spout of a teakettle',Gon said,'It's so crazy'

Nodding in agreement, Killua glanced at Valentine and Gon, before looking down at his hands.

'It's rushing out from every part of my body!',Killua observed,'And it doesn't look like it's stopping. No way.. this can't be good!'

Looking towards one another, neither of them noticed the sweat that formed on Zushi's forehead and noticed as the bird on his shoulder leaned forward, causing the boy to sweat even more.

'What you see is your life energy, so if it continues to escape, you will become quite tired',Wing informed,'Expand all of your aura and you will collapse from extreme fatigue'

Staring off, Valentine began to think about it and felt the sweat slowly falling down her face.

'Oh, I get it',Killua stated, looking over towards Wing.

Clapping his hands together, the sound echoed through the room and the three immediately paid attention.

'Listen to me carefully, you must keep your focus on containing your aura within your body',Wing informed and stepped forward,'Now, close your eyes!'

Immediately doing so, the three listened carefully and followed what Wing was saying.

'Use any stance you prefer, whatever helps you maintain your focus. Visualize your aura flowing through you as if it were blood flowing through your body'

Immediately, the blonde began to visualize the blood in her body as she felt it flowing through her veins, warm and quick as it flowed through each crevice and cavern.

'From your shoulder, to your hand, through your legs then up your left side. And now visualize that flow, as little by little it begins to gradually slow down and swirl around your body'

Slowly, her body began to feel less energetic and a lot less vulnerable, feeling as if a coat of metal were protecting her body from harm.

Gasping in shock, Zushi's eyes widened at how quickly they were advancing and Wing felt small drops of sweat fall down his face, before he felt his lips curve up into a twitch of a smile.

'Now slowly open your eyes. Tell me how you feel'

Doing as they were told, the three slowly opened their eyes and Valentine winced at the harsh light that blinded her as her eyes adjusted.

'I feel like.. like I'm surrounded by some viscous liquid',Gon explained.

Nodding in agreement, Valentine and Killua looked at their hands.

"It feels like I'm coated by a protective layer of water.. or an extra layer of skin",Valentine explained.

'It feels like I'm wearing weightless clothes',Killua explained.

Smiling slightly, Valentine was proud that she was learning alongside her friends and was accelerating just as quickly, for she had feared that she'd end up getting left behind.

But, she was wrong.

'I want the three of you to continue holding onto those images, once you assimilate them, you'll be able to do this in your sleep',Wing told them and his own aura began to surround him, before he held his hand out towards them,'Next, I will proceed to emit malicious Nen against you!'

A purple fog-like aura covered the air and sped towards the three, surrounding them with malicious intent.

'Before your nodes were forced open, standing within this would've caused excruciating pain',Wing explained.

Once he was done, he stopped his Nen and glanced towards the clock.

'Now, you should probably get going',Wing explained,'Your running out of time. You have less than half an hour'

As the boys hurried towards the door and Zeus flew towards her shoulder, Valentine went to follow them but stopped short, turning back towards him.

Seeing that the girl hadn't gone with them, Wing stared at her; confused.

"Mr. Wing?",Valentine questioned, causing him to hum in confusion,"Do you think it's possible for you to open a hawk's aura nodes?"

Blinking in shock, Wing's gaze slowly turned towards the bird on the blonde's shoulder and his face went blank, before he pushed up his glasses, the light reflecting within them.

'I can certainly try'
