After summoning the book to scroll through the list, the five figured that Chrollo would've been the strongest and since it wasn't the real Chrollo as Kurapika had said then it was probably a Troupe member.

At the thought, Valentine frowned and her mind wondered over to the green-eyed troupe member she had considered a friend, a small sigh leaving her lips as she slowly closed her eyes.

'But.. why would a member of the troupe be here?',Gon asked.

'Maybe to beat the game?'

Furrowing her eyebrows together, Valentine slowly shook her head and hummed out in disagreement, causing everyone to look towards her.

"No, if it was the Troupe, why wouldn't they use their own names then?",Valentine questioned and looked up at her friends, opening her eyes to look between them,"And why bother using their bosses name to enter the game?"

'True..',Killua muttered under his breath.

Slowly shaking his head, the silverette tried to think of just who would put their name as Chrollo and made it seem as if he was here.

'Try using Clairvoyance'

Humming in confusion, the four looked up and stared at the man in front of them, their eyebrows furrowed together.

'If this person didn't come all the way here to beat the game, they simply wouldn't bother collecting cards'

'Yeah.. you're right'

Taking the card out of his binder, Gon casted Clairvoyance and the four leaned towards the screen; including Zeus, staring at the words.

There were zero cards in the restricted slots and only six cards in the free slots.

'Wow.. this guy isn't even trying',Killua stated and looked at the person's binder profile.

'The only cards he's obtained are for food and water',Gon observed.

Humming lowly, Valentine narrowed her eyes and leaned forward, looking over the words on the small screen.

There was no way this was a Troupe Member.

'Actually, that can make it a lot easier to invite them'

Turning around, Gon looked up at the man and frowned, slowly shaking his head.

'But, if it really is a member of the Troupe, we won't invite them',The green haired boy stated,'We'll see what they say'

Frowning slightly, Killua looked between Gon and Valentine, slowly shaking his head.

'Yeah, well then, what's the point of even trying?',The silverette stated causing the green haired boy to look towards him with a pouty angered look,'We already know it's one of them'

'We need to know who they are, but why they're here is more important',Gon said and then glanced towards Valentine for a moment,'And besides, if it's that Spider that Valentine knows-'

"Shalnark-"

'Then it should be a lot easier to convince him to join us',Gon continued.

With an angered look on his face, an irk mark appeared on the side of Killua's face and he leaned forward, his eyebrows furrowed together in anger.

'Are you an idiot!? Are you just going to ask them why they're here!? Because big surprise, they're not gonna tell you!',The silverette shouted,'And trying to have Valentine convince him!? No offense to her, but I doubt it would work in her favor even if she does know him!'

Tilting her head slightly, Valentine placed her hand on her chin and stared off for a moment, imagining just how the situation would go down.

And to be quite honest, Shalnark more than likely would've disagreed.

'Yeah, I'm an idiot, fine!',Gon yelled in Killua's face and an angered look formed on his face as they yelled at one another,'I'm still gonna ask and you can't stop me!'

The man from before and Valentine stared at the two with widened eyes, small drops of sweat slowly gliding down the side of their temples.

Slowly leaning down towards the girl, the man kept his gaze on the two and talked to her.

'Are you going to stop them.. or..?'

Leaning to the side slightly, Valentine shrugged for a moment and then slowly nodded, looking between the two.

"They'll deal with it themselves",The blonde said lowly and made sure the two boys couldn't hear her,"Give it about an hour, maybe half, and they'll be fine"

Slowly nodding, the man leaned back and stood to his full height, clearing his throat as he watched the scene; seeing that the two boys turned away from one another, their arms crossed over their chests.

Taking a card out of his binder, Gon angrily snatched it out of the pocket where it was and a vein popped out of his forehead.

Letting out a small whine-like noise, Valentine rose her hands towards the card and her eyes widened slightly as a worried look formed on her face, worried that the boy was going to rip it.

'I'm off then!'

'Then quit yapping and just do it!'

Turning towards one another, the boys glared at each other and it were as if they were breathing flames at the other.

'Accompany on! Chrollo Lucilfer!'

Shooting off in a beam of light, the five were quickly teleported to wherever the person using Chrollo's name was and a dense fog covered the area.

Looking forward, the five squinted and tried to see through the fog, seeing a figure standing in the lake.

'No way..',Killua muttered.

'Hisoka!'

Watching as he turned around, Valentine's eyes widened and she screamed slightly as the fog began to disperse, but before anything disturbing could be revealed, everything went black as a hand was quickly slapped over her eyes.

Screeching loudly in horror, Zeus spread his wings and covered his face with them, not wanting to look at the man anymore.

'Well, well.. I have unsuspected visitors. It's been a while and as I thought, you've matured quite a lot',Hisoka stated and Valentine felt his aura spiked, but thankfully, she couldn't see anything as her eyes were covered; which she was eternally grateful for,'You've clearly found an excellent teacher and you continue to ripen into sweet fruit, just as I thought'

Shivering in disgust, Valentine frowned and scrunched up her nose, her eyebrows furrowing as she closed her eyes.

Even though Killua was covering her eyes, she still closed them just in case and didn't want to take the chance.

And she could tell that it was him who had covered her eyes based on the direction the hand was placed.

'Are you their teacher, I assume?',Hisoka asked, turning towards the man beside Killua and Valentine,'No.. you don't seem the type'

Turning towards the other blonde girl, Hisoka watched as she snapped out of her drooling fangirl state and let out a small shriek as she turned around.

Finally putting some clothes on, the perverted clown looked over the group and his eyes landed on the golden eyed girl, seeing that she wouldn't look him in the eyes.

'Ahh, young Valentine. My, how you've grown and it seems that you have quite the darkness brewing within that beautifully bright soul of yours. Don't you?',Hisoka stated and slowly licked his lips, his golden eyes burning into her own golden gaze, watching as she turned to glare at him,'So, what do you want with me? Or specifically, Chrollo?'

'I have a question, what're you doing in the game?',Gon asked.

Looking at the group, the deranged man began to wonder just what he should do and he knew that if he talked, then he knew how they'd react.

They would do everything in their power to keep the Spiders from getting to the Nen Exorcist.

Running his hand through his damp hair, Hisoka looked over the whole group and smirked lightly.

'I came here to look for Chrollo',The man stated,'He's still crippled by Kurapika's Nen, but there's actually a way to remove it'

'Exorcism'

With surprise coating his face, Hisoka looked towards Gon and hummed slightly.

'You knew? Well, that will make this much easier',The man stated,'I'm looking for Chrollo to pass that along, but I have no leads. Before long, I remembered that some of the Spiders were interested in this game. So of course, if I can locate them then they might be able to tell me where Chrollo is. And using his handle, all but guarantees they'll try to contact me'

'Okay, so he was just pretending to be a member of the Phantom Troupe'

Nodding in agreement, Gon and Valentine looked back towards Hisoka, watching as he gestured between the four; looking towards Zeus with a small hum.

'Now it's my turn for a question. Tell me, did the three of you come all the way out here just to ask me that?'

Noticing that he left him out of it once more, Zeus shrieked in offense and angrily glared at the clown, watching as his gaze turned towards him, but he didn't turn away like he once had when he was just a young chick.

'Yeah, sure did',Gon stated simply.

Sighing slightly, Killua and Valentine shook their heads as Hisoka froze and hadn't quite expected that answer, a small drop of sweat falling down the back of his head.

'Umm..',A shaky voice spoke up.

Turning around, Hisoka, Killua, Valentine and Gon looked towards Biscuit, watching as she looked up at the clown with glistening eyes causing the blonde girl's eyes to widen in disgust.

'The truth is, we're looking for people who are really strong and we were hoping you might join us?',Biscuit asked rather sweetly.

Feeling as if she were about to throw up, Valentine gagged at the thought of her teacher flirting with the pervert and scrunched her nose up in disgust.

'Hmm? Alright',Hisoka agreed and looked towards the other blonde,'May I ask why you're looking for strong people?'

'Hold on, I don't agree with this',Goreinu stated,'It's risky'

'It sure is, you don't know who this guy is, Bisky!'

Nodding in unison, Gon and Valentine hummed in agreement, noticing that Hisoka was staring at them.

'What? Of course I know who he is',Biscuit stated and formed words out of Nen in front of her,'I feel a certain kinship with him'

He's lying.

'The City of Love, Aiai, isn't very far from here',Hisoka spoke up and caught everyone's attention,'You can meet all kinds of people, you might even find the strength that you're looking for'

Having agreed with the man, the group were beginning to walk to the city and Hisoka walked behind all of them.

'What exactly did you mean about him lying?',Killua asked.

'Well technically, I should've said that he wasn't telling the truth'

'But.. how could you tell?'

Curious as to how she knew as well, Valentine turned her head and looked towards the blonde woman, her eyebrows furrowed together.

'It was really more of a hunch',Biscuit admitted.

Face dropping into a deadpanned expression, Killua frowned and stared at the woman for a moment, before slowly shaking his head.

'Seriously!?'

With a devious look on her face, Biscuit smiled and looked between the four, causing Zeus to lean back, a nervous chirp leaving his beak.

'After lying for fifty years myself, I can recognize a fellow liar',Biscuit stated and laughed devilishly.

Feeling a drop of sweat slowly fall down the side of her face, Valentine slowly inched away from the woman and stood closer to Killua, their arms slightly brushing against one another as they both stared at their teacher with widened eyes.

'It's obvious that he's hiding. So best to keep him around until we can find out what. Plus, he's really strong, isn't he?'

Hearing the way Biscuit purred out the end of her sentence, Valentine gagged and frowned at her teacher with a disgusted look, before shivering slightly as she looked forward once more.

Feeling a gaze being sent their way, the three immediately shivered in disgust causing Killua to reach down and wrapping his hand around the blonde's, he quickly pulled Valentine in front of him, snapping his head back in Hisoka's direction with an irritated frown on his face.

'Hey, Hisoka! You walk in front!'

Screeching in anger, Zeus immediately took off of Valentine's shoulder and flew in front of the clown, angered shrieks leaving his beak as his beady black eyes stared at the perverted man, a furious look on the hawk's face.

Humming slightly, Hisoka turned his gaze towards the blue hawk that continuously squawked at him in fury and the man's face dropped into a deadpanned expression.

But, he had eventually agreed and was now walking in front of the five, but Zeus heatedly stared the clown down.

'Ten more members, that's what we need, correct?'

Turning his head, Goreinu looked towards the clown and nodded, a hesitant look on his face.

'Yeah.. members like you',He stated,'People who have little or no interest in cards'

With a large grin on his face, Hisoka turned towards Goreinu and chuckled slightly.

'I would've thought that everyone else was here to beat the game. I doubt that there are any other eccentrics like myself'

Staring the man down, eyes of magenta narrowed slightly and a small smirk slowly spread across Biscuit's lips.

He was definitely hiding something.

Humming slightly, the clown turned around and looked down at the woman, causing Biscuit to immediately switch back into her fangirling stage, sparkles surrounding her as she stared up at the man with glistening eyes.

'By the way, did you use someone's power to fly over here by any chance?',Hisoka questioned and looked back towards Goreinu.

'It's a spell. The game is full of them'

Humming slightly, Hisoka looked forward and slowly nodded his head.

He figured out that you'd have to buy cards from stores.

But something didn't add up, if Hisoka wasn't being honest with them, there must've been some unpredictability in his words and even though he said that he only came here to find Spiders that knew the location of Chrollo, but that couldn't be the only reason he was here.

There must've been a clue in his words to find out the truth as to why he was actually there.

Walking through the city, Valentine walked alongside the ground and eyes as beautiful as the finest of riches looked around, taking in everything within range, a small smile on her face.

However, a girl with chocolate brown hair and glasses fell in front of them with a thud, her glasses crashing to the cement causing the young girl to feel around for them.

'Oh no! Where are my glasses!?'

Gasping slightly in surprise, Valentine's eyes widened and the thunder-eyed girl quickly rushed forward, crouching down to pick up the girl's glasses.

"Here you go"

Humming slightly, the girl looked up at the blurry figure and blinked slowly, her eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

With a bright smile on her face, Valentine reached forward and placed the girl's glasses back on her face, causing her bright, smiling face to become clear in the young girl's eyes.

With her eyes wide, the girl blinked slowly and a slight shade of red painted the girl's skin as she stared up at the blonde.

Suddenly, a blonde girl bumped into Goreinu and Valentine turned her head towards the scene, blinking slowly in confusion, a small hum leaving her lips.

'Hey, watch where you're going! Be more careful!'

'Oh, uhh, sorry!'

'I'm going to be late!',She growled out.

Standing up with an angered huff leaving her lips, the girl stomped past the man and Goreinu stared after her in surprise.

Staring after the girl as she walked off, Valentine rose her eyebrows at the rude tone in the girl's voice and tilted her head to the side, tapping her foot slightly.

That was quite rude.

A low chirp left Zeus's beak and he tilted his head to the side, his feathers slightly puffing up as he shook out his body, glancing towards Valentine momentarily.

'Why did you apologize?',Hisoka asked,'What you should've done is told her to watch where she was going and starting an argument'

'Stop it, please!'

Hearing a scream coming from the alleyway, everyone turned their heads towards the noise and slowly began to walk towards where the sounds were coming from.

Once they had gotten there, they saw two older men holding a woman against a wall and she was struggling to get free.

'Stop it please! Let me go or I swear I'll scream!'

'Go ahead and scream your heart out, it's not like anyone's going to save you'

Noticing what was going on, Gon broke away from the group and rushed towards the scene.

'Hold it right there?'

Humming slightly, the man turned his head and looked the young boy up and down, chuckling slightly under his breath.

'You let her go, right now!'

Walking over to the green-haired boy, the silverette harshly punched him upside the head and Valentine's eyes widened as Gon fell to the ground, holding the back of his head in pain as he stared up at him with a drop of sweat falling down the side of his face.

'Hey, that hurt!',The green-haired boy cried out in pain.

'What're you doing falling for such a tired old cliché, huh?',Killua questioned.

'Really? You want me to be your hair model?'

Sighing in irritation, an irk mark appeared on his forehead and Killua looked down, clenching his fists together as he gritted his teeth.

'You're hair's so long and lovely it would be my honor to style it'

Feeling his eyebrow twitching with anger, Killua glanced down at Valentine and was relieved that she wasn't letting her kindness be taken advantage of, watching as she looked up at him, her wide eyes of innocence blinking up at him in curiosity.

'There's no point in us hanging around this stupid city',The silverette said with a small sigh.

Gently placing his hand in Valentine's, Killua softly dragged her along with him as he walked towards Hisoka and Goreinu, standing in front of them with an irritated look on his face.

'Hisoka, let's go somewhere else?'

Turning towards the silverette and the blonde, Hisoka looked between the two with a smirk on his lips, humming slightly.

'But why?',The clown questioned,'At least here, boredom isn't an issue'

Hearing those words, something within Killua finally clicked and his eyes widened slightly.

When the three were training near Masadora when he was away taking the Hunter's Exam, he must've been in Masadora and that would've explained how they had run into him.

Hisoka was only bored because he didn't have anything to do and so, he isn't looking for anyone.

Unless, he's already found them and that was in line with what Biscuit was saying earlier.

The clown had already met up with the Troupe and now, he was waiting for something.

But suddenly, it clicked within Killua's brain and a light gasp left his lips, causing Valentine to glance towards the silverette in curiosity.

The Exorcist was on Greed Island.

'Hey Killua, Valentine, I've been thinking Tsezguerra. We should try and recruit him, even if he doesn't join then we should at least meet him',Gon explained and the two looked towards him,'So that way, he'll be on our binder list'

'Yeah, it'd be better if we knew what they were up to',Killua admitted.

Then suddenly, he gasped as his eyes widened slightly and the silverette turned towards Hisoka, his eye narrowing.

Looking towards the man, Valentine watched as Gon walked towards the clown and he looked down at the boy in curiosity.

'We're trying to find a guy named Tsezguerra, so I wanna see if he's on the list of players you've met',The green haired boy said.

A small hum left Hisoka's lips and he eventually agreed, which would actually work in their favor.

If Valentine or Killua had asked the question, then he immediately would've grown suspicious.

But since Gon didn't know anything at all, Hisoka wouldn't suspect a thing.

'Book'

Appearing in a cloud of smoke, the book hovered in front of Hisoka and he looked through the player list, before spotting the name.

'There's he is; Tsezguerra'

'Really!?',Gon exclaimed.

Running over, the green-haired boy looked at Hisoka's book and watched as the man pointed towards a name, causing Gon to look towards it.

And surely enough, there was Tsezguerra's name on the list of players he had met.

Grabbing a card from his own binder, Gon held it up and asked for the man to read the spell out loud.

'Contact on, Tsezguerra'

As Gon talked to Tsezguerra, Valentine watched Hisoka out of the corner of her eye and a frown pulled at her lips.

He was obviously hiding something and he was either lying about being here to find Chrollo or he had already found him and wanted to help him.

Just what was this man after.
