Descending towards Youpi, Knuckle's life flashed before his eyes and tears began to fall down his cheeks, but a whip of blood wrapped around the man's waist and pulled him away just as lightning struck, electrocuting the ant.

Eyes widened in shock as a small gasp left the man's lips as this happened and the blood shot away from him, going back to the person as Knuckle quickly turned around, catching sight of the two.

Standing beside one another with darkened eyes of rage, Killua and Valentine stared at the Chimera Ant, their auras harsh and unforgiving.

Eyes of gold were darkened so much they almost looked black as she slowly began to walk forward, the moon gradually being hidden by the clouds and her aura slowly began to form around her body, her dark eyes glistening with rage.

Neither of them payed attention to Knuckle as he ran off after hitting the ant eight times and ran to get Shoot.

Noticing the girl walking forward, he watched as the boy behind her sparked with lightning and his hair stood up as electricity crackled around his body; before watching as bloody tendrils rose up beside the girl's body and sharpened into lethal looking blades.

'Sorry.. we're a little pissed off right now. So we're going to take it all out on you'

As soon as Killua rushed forward, his hands reaching up as he attacked the ant with volts of electricity and it's body froze up, the blonde appeared from beside the ant, a harsh ring filling the air and she turned her body, the air blowing outwards from the impact, dust kicking up.

Every time the ant tried to recover and fight back, Killua would shock and stun him, while Valentine appeared out of nowhere and land harsh kicks to his jaw.

Burns of electricity littered the Chimera's body and he groaned at each hit, not being able to fight back as each brutal hit struck his body.

These two teenagers had perfect coordination with each other.

While the blonde girl went in for the attack, the silverette would strike him with bolts of electricity, rendering him immobile so that he couldn't hurt the girl anytime she attacked him.

As soon as the ant's hand wrapped around her leg, a bolt of lightning hit his body and Youpi shook, his teeth clenched as the electricity ran through him, his hand letting go of the girl and as soon as he let go, she turned her body, a harsh kick landing on his cheek.

Dirt kicked up as he slid back, blue electricity covering his body as the silverette glared at him and he slowly walked towards the blonde, keeping her close to him.

'Don't you dare touch her.'

Every time Youpi tried to roar out and attack, the silverette would shock him and the blonde would attack, keeping their attacks coordinated.

Hit after hit struck the ants skin and his rage only continued to boil and bubble up within him.

Who did these teenagers think they were.

Going up against such a superior creature as himself, using their damn abilities to render him immobile and attack him.

It was a cowards way to fight.

The speed of the silverette exceeded that of Valentine's teleportation and it helped the two of them greatly as they relentlessly attacked the Chimera Ant together.

Electricity sparked and the sound of hits landing echoed throughout the small space, bruises beginning to appear on the ants face.

This teamwork of theirs almost exceeded that of her and her brothers.

The speed they had when attacking while defending one another were truly a perfect match.

Rushing forward, Valentine clenched her teeth and teleported behind the ant, a shout of determination leaving her lips as her hit connected and sent the ant forward, right into Killua's next attack.

The sound of electricity striking made her rush forward once more, jumping up as she twisted her body and her foot connected with the ant's face, pushing him back again.

What the hell.

How could their speed outmatch his own.

They were just a couple of kids.

A feral grin slowly spread across Youpi's face and the two quickly jumped back, keeping their distance as they watched the ant from two different sides of the crater.

Suddenly, Killua's electricity faded and he quickly jumped back, panic in his eyes as he glanced towards Valentine.

Sweat was falling down the side of her face as she panted and her eyes were narrowed.

He needed to get to her and quick, all of her teleporting around was beginning to zap away her strength and she wouldn't be able to keep this up much longer.

As Killua began to rush towards her, Youpi saw this as a perfect opportunity and jumped towards the girl, his arm pulling back.

Seeing the ant rush towards her, a small gasp left Valentine's lips and she stepped up, her aura slowly beginning to surround her as time slowed down in her eyes.

Damnit.

She wasn't paying attention and now she was vulnerable.

Quickly, quickly!

She needed her aura to hurry up and cover her body before it was too late.

Hurry!

Hurry up!

The fist of her enemy lowered towards her for the kill and Valentine froze up, her body still falling as time was slowed down.

Hurry up, quickly correct your footing and use it to fight back against him, come on!

Hurry up and fight back!

Fight!

The sound of thunder crackling filled the girl's ears as her body began to fall even more as she was pushed back, blood covering her face as her eyes widened and a pained cough and gasp filled her ears.

Her eyes shook with despair and tears filled her eyes at the sight in front of her eyes and a loud scream of horror and anguish left her cherry red lips.

Her body hit the ground and she stared up at the sight in horror, her body shaking as her breathing quickened, panic filling her veins as her hands twitched.

This sight wasn't real.

It couldn't be.

She was having a nightmare right now.

This couldn't be happening.

All she saw was a flash of blonde and orange hair, blood flying from the boys lips as he coughed, the ant's hand stuck just below his rib cage and buried in his skin, blood slowly falling down his lips.

"Jaxon!",Valentine screamed in agony.

She could only watch in horror as her twin's body trembled, his knees weakening as he held up his body and protectively stood in front of his sister, taking the blow that was meant to strike and kill her.

A strike of blue flashed past them as another blurred figure quickly rushed forward and tackled the creature away from the siblings.

A screech of anger left the large hawk as his talons harshly dug into the Chimera Ant's skin, the sight of the Nitsune twins made his blood boil as his large beak dug into the ant's shoulder, dust flying as his large wings beat down.

As her brother began to fall back, Valentine leapt forward and quickly caught him in her arms, sobs leaving her lips as screams tore up out of her chest, the sight of his wound made bile bubble up her throat.

Blood coated her hands as she held her twin close and his pained noises made her breathing quicken as a panic filled her body; a panic attack starting to surface.

"No no no no no",Valentine panicked as her twins blood began to coat her fingers as her hand pressed down on the wound, a pained groan filled her ears as her brother coughed and choked on the blood that was filling his throat,"Jaxon, why would you— why did—!"

Feeling his sisters hand on his cheek, Jaxon slowly opened his eyes and looked into her beautiful and tear filled golden eyes, causing him to reach up a shaky hand, wiping the tears away.

'Are you—.. are.. are you hurt?',The injured boy choked out as blood slowly dripped from his lips and wasn't concerned of his own injuries, he only wanted to know if she was okay.

Blood slowly began to spread across the ground and the girl's lap as she held her brother in her arms, loud sobs leaving her lips.

How could he be worrying about her at a time like this.

"It's okay, you'll be okay, I can fix this",Valentine sobbed out as she concentrated on trying to activate her aura, sweat falling down her tired body,"You'll.. you'll be okay"

Seeing what she was trying to do, Jaxon gently took his sister's hand in his own and watched as she looked down at him, tears falling down her beautiful face.

His heart broke at the sight, the sight he caused.

It was getting harder to breath as blood filled his lungs and Jaxon tightly held his sister's hand in his own, slowly shaking his head.

He wanted to give her words of comfort, let her know that it was his choice to protect her and sacrifice himself for her, knowing that she'd blame herself, thinking that this wouldn't have happened if she was stronger.

Sobs of agony left her lips and she held her brother close, slowly rocking the two of them back in forth as the sight of his pain hurt her greatly.

"Y..You dummy! Why would you do that!? I would've been okay!",Valentine cried as she held her twin close and felt as his blood coated her clothes but she didn't care about that,"I would've thought of something"

'I- I couldn't.. lose you..',Jaxon choked out around the blood that filled his mouth and gasped breaths left his lips as he desperately tried to get air into his lungs,'I.. I.. I love you.. too much..'

"And you think I want to lose you!"

Cries and sobs of despair left the girl's lips as she held her twin close, watching as his eyes slowly began to darken as more blood surrounded them.

Seeing how much he was hurting, Valentine rested her head on his shoulder as she gently rocked them back and forth, sobs leaving her lips.

She didn't want him to be scared, Jaxon's worst fear had always been dying and she used to do everything in her power to let him know that she'd never let that happen.

And now here they were, his worst fear was coming true and he wouldn't let her help him.

He wouldn't let her heal him.

If she didn't heal him he would surely die and she couldn't let that happen.

But the way his grip on her hand tightened let her know that he wouldn't let go of her hand any time soon and risk her healing his wounds and weakening herself.

Soft and cracking hums left her lips as she held her brother close, the sobs leaving her lips disrupted them for a moment but she continued and felt as her twin smiled softly against her.

'Your voice.. has always been.. so pretty',The boy choked out and panted as it got harder to breath,'It's always been.. so.. comforting to.. me'

Her body shook with sobs as she gently hummed and no longer hearing any breathing in her ear, Valentine's entire body froze up, her teary eyes widening.

Slowly pulling back, the girl's sobs worsened at sight of her brother's glazed over eyes staring up at the starry sky and a small smile was on his lips as blood coated his chin.

Gently placing her hands on her brother's cheeks, Valentine quickly shook her head and sobbed, a river of tears falling down her face.

"No, no, no. Jaxon look at me",Valentine ordered slightly with fear in her voice before she screamed out a sob,"Jaxon! Jaxon, look at me!"

Seeing that his glazed over eyes continued to stare up at the sky, loud screams of agony left the girl's lips as she quickly pulled her brother to her chest and her head leaned back, a loud scream leaving her lips.

Her scream echoed through the air and her blood that was on the ground a few meters away from them started to rise into the air and exploded forward as large spikes.

The silverette and hawk stopped in their tracks, their eyes wide at the sight of large spikes of blood shooting up from the ground and stabbing through Youpi's body; the ant's eyes wide as blood shot from his lips, his eyes trembling in pain.

Hearing the yells, Killua turned towards his girlfriend in worry and his breathing almost stopped at the sight of her holding her twins body in her arms, a pool of blood surrounding them as his blood coated her cheeks, tears streaming down her face as she screamed in grief and anger.

Loud cries and sobs left the blonde girl's lips as she screamed to the sky, her brother held to her chest and blood coating her face.

His blood.

Her brother.. Jaxon's blood.
